I've looked a so many bellroy wallets and imo none beat the flip case, I know that's probably not a popular opinion but I just really like the hardshell design. I work in some pretty tough conditions and a normal wallet like this would be ripped to shreds. I have a V1 tho so the issue with embossed (thankfully I only have 1 card that is embossed). Trouble is I have yet to find anything close to it outside of sketchy wallets on like shein, temu or aliexpress. With the exception being maybe the pelican wallet but it's quite bulky. I could see myself using something like this when I'm not working though.
Thanks for another informative review. I don't know if you mentioned it already or not, but you used to use fountain pens in your videos (all Pelikan?) and no longer do. What was the reason for stopping that? By the way, Pelikan makes stunning pens; I have an M805 Stresemann myself.
@@ahmedaffan3095 it is a top grain leather. All their wallets are top grain which is just as good quality as full grain. The leather maker Rose anvil actually took apart one of Belroy’s wallets and was pretty impressed by it.
Seems like after you put in the bank notes, the closure is not aligned properly. Is it because it interferes with the spine? Pls advice as I really wna get this 🫡

I think you should test wallets that has magnets also with metal cards.

Same. I love the design of bellroy undercover. I asked my local leather craft to make me the same with better leather and cheaper too.
Those leather crack turn me off.
