@@СергейСоболев-х8ш sure thing! it's rebelminis (dot) com, in the 28mm science fiction section. the bugs are pretty easy to spot. They also have a bunch of humans scattered about. the power armor troops are called "vixens" and the skinnies are called "valonians"
3D printer 3D printer 3D printer. With how affordable they are now, it's cheaper to get a 3D printer to print many of these OOP minis than it is to collect them.
I was fortunate enough to snag several ebay lots before the game saw a return to the radar. Speaking from experience the MI players have it easy with so many options for soldiers both with light armor and powered armor, walkers, etc. There's literally nothing you can't find a proxy for in the MI books. The bugs are more difficult. The more exotic critters such as hoppers, firefries, tankers, even plasma if you get creative, are doable. It's the iconic warriors that are problematic to get for a good price in sufficient quantities. Rebel does sell the screamer but that's pretty expensive for the amount you really need.
Fun fact, the Screamer uses the Guard Bug mold. Anyway, I find that Hoppers are usually not too hard to get a hold of, but yeah, for the most part, the plastic Arachnid models are pretty annoying to get a hold of.
Very intriguing, thanks for sharing! I noticed one blogger a few years back used the Men Who Would Be Kings (Osprey) rules to run a game of ST. (Space)Men Who Would Be Kings??
@@liesureleeminis8268 starship troopers terran command should be out this year but the developers have been really quiet so im starting to doubt it will be this year.
I played this game when it was released - a long time ago. unfortunaly it was not that popular (each one decided for GW). And because of this it was very hard to find other players. Later I sold it - I regret it
It is a pity this game died, it had some nice figures but perhaps was limited by only having 2 main factions, I don't think the Skinnies were never mentioned in the films? Although I wonder if 28mm was the correct scale for the game as a dozen bugs on the table hardly replicated the movies, perhaps 15mm would have been a better scale?
I'm getting a bunch of this game now! I am so hyped for this!
I'm clicking the Would you like to know more? button!!
I wish the minis weren't so stinking expensive!!
Storytime with Mr. Riddle lol, there are some alternatives about.
the rebel website has the molds but they are renamed

It's awesome to see some content on this marvellous game.
Thanks for the vid, mate. I have the old starter set from many years ago. Building bugs and painting troops right now.
Glad it’s inspiring you
Interesting game, thanks for sharing.

The loss of one MI at the cost of 1000 bugs is a net win for the bugs

Discovered the rulebook collecting dust in the corner of some thrift shop. Had no idea they made a Starship Troopers miniatures game.
Hope you enjoy it’s a great system, and was going to be 6th Ed 40k if only they had gone with this.

Can this be played solo?
Yes there are specific solo rules on the Facebook group, but in theory all games can be played if you play both sides.
