So, I have been wanting to make a video that involved HC & RC for SOOOOOOO LONG because, despite Humille being my OTP...I actually loved RC soooo much as well and I felt like I needed to showcase parts of why I loved/love them both so this is what I came up with. It isn't the best video I have ever made in my life but I am rather proud of it and this is going to be the first in a LONG line of DiP videos...

This is a lovely video. But I think Humphrey needed to find the right person for him (which he did). And I think Ben Miller was trying to kill me bc when I watched the episode when he gets murdered I almost cried. Richard X Camille forever ❤️

Camille was never in love with Humphrey
It's funny most people seem to ship the Humphrey/Camille thing but for me it was always Camille and Richard. I don't believe that Camille was ever in love with Humphrey, although obviously he was with her. It was Richard she wanted. She remained oblivious to Humphreys feelings - if she felt the same way, she wouldn't have been. I think the kiss at the end was more pity and affection than love because she knew how painful it was for him letting her go. But don't think she was ever in love with poor Humph. But Richard..yes! Lovely video , the music works really well.

I agree... there was the undenied chemistry and attraction and unspoken feelings between Richard and Camille.
Yes, it was always Richard for Camille and vice versa. They both knew they had something and had Ben Miller not decided to leave the show early, I think S3 would have seen the two get together.
I had not realized a lot of people ship Humphrey / Camille. I was irritated that they even suggested a romantic relationship between Camille and Humphrey because it was like they were saying that the DS and DI have to have a romance, no matter who they are. But in the end, I think Humphrey was enamored of her because she was open and warm when he needed that, but did not have true romantic feelings for her. For Camille, part of her may have wanted something to fill the Richard-sized hole in her heart, but mostly I think Humphrey needed her at a time when she needed to be needed. As for the kiss when she left, I saw that as Camille acknowledging that Humphrey had romantic feelings and thanking him for them, even though she could not return them.
I agree. Camille never got over Richard. Any feelings she might potentially have had for Humphrey, we're buried beneath the love and grief she had for Richard.
I hate that Richard was killed off.
I agree with Richard and Camille being the stronger relationship. As well as in the episode where Richard dies, this is strongly evidenced in the episode where Richard is called back to the UK for a few days and seeing Camille's reactions.

I like death by paradise I watched the episode at the start when Di Richard Poole came in and he was at a graduation and then he went to relax but he sat and the nxt thing I knew he got killed by someone then Di Humphrey Goodman solved the crime about what happened to the other policemen By Helen

Can anyone tell me when Humphrey fell for beautiful Camille and what did he mean he doesn't why it had taken so long is finally seeing what others see a beautiful woman in front of him are finally realizing he's in love with her
I say s3e1 because when walking on the beach he said "you're beautiful " then claimed to be talking about the scenery
