    Brilliant stuff,i bought the thunder after researching a fair bit, I'm a novice, but watching your tests convinced me, paired with a vtoman jump 1000 solar generator and has been working non stop for almost a year but these wise energy could be the go as I'll need to upgrade to a higher capacity battery or solar generator 👍

    Your videos have been brilliant so far. If this is your panel, a full disclaimer and the cost and features or lack of (it doesn't seem to have an adjustable angle) would make this video a lot more useful.

      Yes I work for Wise Energy, have said that in my video’s basically from the beginning. But this is my channel and use it to give honest reviews so people don’t get caught out buying crap products. No the angle is not adjustable which is no different from a lot of other products on the market. For pricing and other info reach out… email - sales@askwise.com.au. Cheers

      @@craigsolaradventuresHi Craig, why did you configure the panels series and the other panels in parallel ? Most people watching wouldn’t have a 48v controller….do the panels show more watts configured this way ? (It’s the only reason I can think of)

    Hi mate I’ve watched a couple of your vids some over again lol.
    I have a redarc 25a and installer said don’t need to use a panel it’s regulator as it’s inbuilt . They installed a red Anderson plug and said use the same colour so your not running 2 regulators as it may limit what you get out of the panels. What panels come without the regulator, it’s confusing me lol
    I wouldn’t mind a thunder 240 if I can find one , was going to go Itech but watched your vids and heard elsewhere about them.
    Redarc panels to expensive

  • @paulvictor9368
    @paulvictor9368 7 месяцев назад

    That is very impressive. Unfortunately my 40A RedArc dcdc charger can only handle 36V. I dare say the 400W would be too big for it. Do they do them in 300W? I know usually 400W panels can put out up to 48V.

      Just run the 4 panels in parallel. @ 21.2v open circuit it’s just over 30amp charging a 12.8v battery. The default configuration for the panels is set this way.

    What are the specs of this panel. From the video, it looks like 65 volts is coming into your charge controllers. I might need to step down the voltage to use it with my Bluetti AC180

    • @craigsolaradventures
      @craigsolaradventures  7 месяцев назад +2

      I put the panels in series, you could easily configure in parallel if required for 12v battery setups. In fact this is how they are configured out of the box. So 12v , 24v or 48v battery setups are possible. Just be aware of relevant standards and best practice to ensure compliance.

      I had the panel configured in series and not parallel. Advantage this way with higher voltage you could possibly use on 12v , 24v or even 48v battery setups. That said you would need to consider relevant standards and best practice to ensure compliance.
