I had a 100Ah Atempower in my van. It went from running my 2 fridges for 21 hours to 12-14 hours in 18 months, and the internals now rattle around. The company I bought it from has, however, honoured the warranty with a replacement.
The Shunt resistance will fluctuate with temperature. I use a Hall Ring Sensor, which puts zero load on the system, so can be more stable. It reads in both directions for in and out the same as a Shunt. 200 Amp top range.
Wow that was interesting to see that crappy expanda foam in there I was thinking of purchasing their ultra slim 100ah but now I'm having second thoughts maybe I will spend a little more and get the kick ass one instead
Awesome breakdown of this battery. Love how you just say it as you see it. I went out and brought a 240 watt solar panels from your review. I am in the process of looking at a solar inverter setup for my caravan. Looking at running air fryer microwave aircon on 240 volts. Would love you to test or explain how you choose a battery also a inverter solar charger. There is so much out there. Just a bit confronting when your going to spend big dollars. Planing on doing a big trip around Australia. Love your channel. Thanks Sean
I never seen anything like the Marshmallow stuff from heating up yikes .Im surprised you didn't smell anything considering the foam was I'm melting I'm melting...
Wow alright, that is bad, & loose cells as well, nah. I dont like Daly anyhow, but that foam mess shows their dedication to quality. We all would like to see/know what type cells were used & maybe if the rest of the engineering is up to any standard. Kings batteries are actually really good value lately, they have nice prismatic cells & a decent BMS (most are better than Daly), & seem to output somewhat over spec also.
Kings batteries & inverters are actually pretty good stuff for the price lately, 200A prismatic cells 4s2p for $748 with a decent BMS. I thought Atempower were supposed to be better than this.

Hello from America, I love your video so I subbed and liked your video . Thank you
Great video Craig. It's gunna save whoever watches it the grief that will come from buying that battery.
That is totally unacceptable!
That company should NOT be in business.

Wow indeed ,,,makes sence about the pricing ....

Hi Sean, Craig has a caravan with a large solar system in it, I’m sure there’s a video of it on his channel
I thought I was on his channel. It doesn’t have a caravan setup on it.
@@williammccabe3767
Could you please tell me the channel Craig has the caravan on or a link.
Thanks
Sean
Victron all in one 24v set up.
It would be great to know what cells are in there?. Are the terminals spot welded or screw connections?
Perfect battery to take out of the box and put on a shelf
it's amazing these can pass the standards for sale in Australia 🤔
Thanks for test. Won’t be buying this brand. Pity as slimline battery was a perfect fit for what I needed
Hi, what type of cells were in under the cover?
Does it matter.crap anyway❤

That's pretty scary.

Dud,cheap rubbish,thanks for your time olmate❤❤😮
The battery is priced quite a bit higher then Kings and other brands. The shunt is priced at $89.

@@evil17 I suspect not, I have a 20 amp lifepo4 atempower which only holds 17.5 Amps
Thanks for the video but that is crap battery
Too cheap to use closed-cell foam, like the other cheap Chinese LiFePo batteries. WTF?
