Glad you shared your first time doing it! A lot of people don't and it makes it a bit hard to understand if they already know what to do
+DRIVEN ROYALTY yeah it was a learning experience. We had a good time though
H&R lowering springs is the way too go I'm in the process of buying them for my e36 I'm getting them in red
Great job, but you guys should be using jack stands for safety..
Just installed Eibach 1 inch lower Pro Sport Kit and Dinan toe links, then M3 suspension alignment...on a 335i... night and day difference in stability, acceleration, braking, curves and quieter too while being firmer.
acceleration, what are you talking about?
@@grant6363 improved acceleration due to less squatting from previously weaker suspension components. are you under the impression acceleration can only be improved with power mods?
Are those the H&R sport springs? And what size are your wheels
Yeah these are the sport springs. they are 18x8 in the front and 18x10 rear
I personally love the pre lci e90's, looks good my dude!
+ChewbaccaFetus thanks!
you have the perfect wheels for a black e90..want them too!
+Agustin Cuenca thanks!
Is there an option to where you can press a button to lower the cars suspension but also reversible
Bags
did you have to get an alignment afterwards?
How are you liking the ride with these?
Feels just like stock.
You should paint the front part of your brake rotors black as they rust straight away.
+George Austers i painted them a few months after this video. I have a video on it ☺️
Nice man. I did mine when I painted my calipers on my e60 :)
Ohhhhh the amount of rusted parts and bolts is crazy! :( good video though, was it hard to install?
it took a while because it was our first time but I could probably do it in half the time now!
I got the HR for my e46 330ci but they sucked and made the car less stable and too bouncy vs. the stock shocks. I then switched to Eibach Pro Kit and all is better. Man, I should have stayed with eibach springs since I had them before on my e93..but I wanted to see what others had to offer. Big mistake.
Thanks for the nice video! I see you take the whole front strut assembly out from the wheel well. Did you encounter any difficulty? I'm going to replace the front strut for my E92 335xi and find your video very helpful.
Did they fit ur xdrive??
Looks amazing bro. Keep up the videos I really enjoy them. Just one question what's the offset on your wheels? I have a the same e90xi wanted to go with 18x8.5 all around but not sure on the offset. Thanks.
How much would you estimate this would cost with labor?
What was the height before and after?
+Brandon B i wrote it down. Ill have to check
D
If i put lowering springs with my stock shocks does the shocks harm because it wasnt made for lowering springs?
Hey Justin, love your car!
I have a question about the washer between the strut mount and the upper spring perch. Was that a washer or really thick like a spacer? It almost looks thick more like a spacer in your vid.
I'm having trouble with my strut/spring install and am trying to make sure I have the right hardware.
Thanks!
I have a RWD model and mine came in blue colour as well. All the pictures show silver. Why is that?
is that a 60/40 mm set ??
for the amazon link, do i have to buy 4 of them? or should i only buy one and it has all 4 springs?
What other things were necessary after lowering. aside from an alignment
Hi whats the best lowering adjustment for the car safe for the bumps and downhill like going to basement?
So are the coils just shorter? Is that all that lowering a car is?
hi I have a E90 which I purchased literally about a week ago, i'm finding your videos very helpful I was fortunate enough to buy it with a lot of the mods i'd hoped to do already done for me i.e. M sport wheels (blacked out) and steering wheel, tinted windows etc and tinted lights, which made me wonder why you don't have tinted lights? is it personal choice or are they not permitted where you live? also what do you think of hand painting calipers? that's 1 thing thats not already done on it and I am going to paint my brake rotors thanks to your video on the best way to do it! cheers
Thats awesome! Personally Im not a fan of the tinted tail lights, but would like to get some aftermarket ones in the future, just have to find the right ones. For the calipers, I would spray paint them, just mask everything off really well. I did mine silver when I first got the car but I need to do them again. For me, I like keeping the brakes and stuff looking stock just because they aren't Brembo's or anything special, but that's just me :)
Hallo
I have a question please
She is 30x20??!
Just a quick question, how many kms were on the stock shock and how is the ride of the car
Perfect looking? What about driving bro. ? How do you feel?
Hi, do you have had problems with the front differential with the springs h&r? Thank you
Do you have to take off the axle nut for the rear?
I don't see any jack stands! Crazy moves!
Nice work👍 how money time need change ?
I ordered them , I used the link in the video and it’s the wrong ones :/
So now I have to send them back
Hey did it settle and get lower after couple weeks or no?
Did these lower it alot?
+IAN an inch and a half all around
Nice ride, where did you get those wheels.
Just brought some for my scat
Would these fit a 2008 sedan 335i
How are you guys going to no show a single full shot of the whole car at a decent angle
looks sick
Thanks!
What are the benefits?
Just wondering, what are the benefits of lowering a car? Doesn't that make the ride harsher?
+Hackiesacker007 for me, mostly looks. But also lowers the center of gravity and improves handling. The springs I got ride the same as the stock ones. Stiffer springs give you better handling performance but you sacrifice everyday driving comfort.
pleaaaaase get the M-sport exterior
Do these fit e92 xdrive?
What's the difference in drive comfort?
+Hishaam Fakier i have a review of these on my channel. But they are slightly stiffer than stick. Not much of a difference
What is better this or eibach pro kit
Honestly, they are probably the same or very similar. The more important thing will be the shocks and struts you choose. I have the Bilstein B8's with these springs.
Where are the coilovers?
+Mike L soon 😎
At the track lol
Didn't even show what to unbolt from the front suspension. just clips of loosening the strut tower and thats it. wtf?
Is it fit in AWD bmw 328xi?
yes if it’s a sedan
What rims are these?
Did u install the lowering springs on stock shocks?
+gravity718 yeah. I'll upgrade soon but they've held up so far
Justin Buice does the car bounce at all?
Your car is sick
what size rimes are those? @justin buice
Torque specs?
Whats the next mod?
Maybe LED's for the halo rings. I had some cheap ebay ones before but they burned out. If I get a good quality set I'll do an install video
Great job
+Joel Nissanka thanks!
perfect.
how long did the whole process take?
+Bing Jiang took about 6 hours but only because we had never done it before. I could probably do it in 2 or 3 hours now
i think you should make the video 6-9 minute more
You actually don't show how to install
Looks awesome probably going to do the same to mine!
Thanks! It's worth it
looks like a lot of work.
Woow good
i lowered my shirt hahaha xd
Just a spring will ruin your shock

Bilstein B8 are a shorter Strut designed for a shorter spring. If he put these on OEM struts, they would certainly prematurely fail and bottom out often.
Question..
was there underbody shields?
are those easy to take off?
There are but you don't need to remove them for this project.
What are the name of the rims
+Zain Saleem vmr v710
What wheels are those?
VMR Wheels V710
looks like a lot of work.
it was!
