He's a turnover machine who cannot read most defenses fast enough, cannot pass consistently, has ZERO intermediate passing gm, is a ball-hog which is going to cause our great runningbacks to transfer and others to decommit if he comes back, can't find more than 1st receiver on plays and if given enough time sometimes he can find a 2nd of the 4 receivers, and in many games would take a sack instead of throwing it away when out of the pocket. Since my first game in ‘74 until social media it was Auburn University. Now so many nut jobs on social media think they know better! I’m a fan of Auburn University! Not just Auburn football!
So Auburn caused the turnovers both for and against themselves? So Bama just wasn't on the field or averaging it's highest turnover rate in a decade but Auburn was the cause of it all? Homers. How about this: it was as close as it was because Auburn had 4 turnovers. And maybe Alabama has some issues that caused those 4 turnovers based on a trend we all are seeing. Maybe Auburn is just not a destination and much less so when Alabama is in transition.
As a bama fan it doesnt matter if Bama or SCar get into the playoffs neither can win. Just because there are 12 spots doesnt mean there are 12 championship teams....
Alabama would be favored to beat half of those teams currently ranked in the top 12 even if we played in their stadiums. We’d probably be favored over 9-10 of them on a neutral site. With that being said, if we do get in, which Alabama team will step off of the bus, the one from the first half of the Georgia game and the LSU game, or the one vs Vandy and Oklahoma? Alabama Team 1 wins the championship outright and team 2 gets eliminated quickly. We have the potential but lack the consistency
When Jake finally looks at who HF really is he will get it. The dude consistently blew games vs inferior opponents at every coaching stop he’s had. He’s not a good coach and the on field results reflect that
I think we need to grab 2 QBs in the portal. $2 million for 1 and $1 million for another. This is the make or break portal move to keep it FREEZING on the plains
Hugh freeze is the type of coach that relies on talent to win him games. He needs top prospects at the most important position for him to be successful. He doesn’t know how to game plan or develop if the players don’t pan out. That is who Hugh is
What makes you think he will get it right at qb when he missed badly on thorne then doubled down. It shows he cant evaluate. I dont believe that hank or holden arent good enough to win because i dont trust hugh ability to evaluate
Hunter had 13 yds on his last 9 carries. We never really stopped bama unless they turned it over. We tried the play it safe offense for a big part of the season to hide Thorne. You can’t hide him against good sec teams. Play calls won’t save this team, players do, and we don’t have enough of them. It’s not complicated
The offensive line play has been so bad they get over powered or they can’t pick up a blitz when Thorne tried to pass they where all in his face and he has to move out the pocket
Alabama dominated the game and the turnovers kept the score closer. Bama out gained auburn and ran it down their throats for over 200 yards. Shouldn't have been that close.
How about you give Alabama’s defense some credit. They played lights out. This game was won in the trenches. Alabama dominated Auburn on the offensive and defensive line.
They never said anything negative about bama... two things can be true at the same time. Bamas defense played well and Auburn made dumb decisions like not handing the ball off to their best player at all with a 1st and goal from the 2 yd line or other various head scratching playcalls. Typical Bammers, getting upset when people aren't talking about how great you are. I guess Auburn can't talk about the things they did wrong and only the things Alabama is so great at.
Hugh Freeze got his Golden contract that he thought he’d never see again. After stepping in it in his personal life he found a way back. Good for him. Bad for Auburn. Hugh Freezes best days coaching are behind him and they weren’t that great to begin with. He has been a limp pecker the entire time. It’s past time to show something. Recruiting is great. Very great. But if he can’t show something on the field he is toast. Burnt toast. wde 😔
It really is strange how much thorne got to play. But its really strange how Freeze kept playing him. Yes Thorne is bad. But the decision to keep playing him by Freeze is a head scratcher. I no longer trust Freeze to get it right in the portal for another qb. We'll see.
These Haters dont realize that they're in the bigger picture now. Their body language and haterism is so on display for all to see. Hey friends. Ya wanna be "universal" ya gotta be un-biased. They're the babies that not only aren't there, but may not ever get THERE
It’s because Hugh doesn’t emphasize the run game. Idk how many times I have to say this. Hugh has never emphasized the run game. It’s anti-auburn. Team is soft because of it. Auburn didn’t need a difference maker at QB to win that game. Hugh’s system is terrible. Why are y’all backing that guy
I think we’re all missing the fact that some of this has to be on the players. Missed FGs… Thorne throwing it away on 4th down… Hunter underthrew the mess out of what would have been a TD. Not sure Cobb and Alston can do what Hunter did running the ball. Not only do you need to portal a QB, but there still needs to be help in the backfield, and OL. I’ll also tell you what boys… that DL has to get reloaded too. There was a time when you had about 8 Faulk-like types to roll in on the DL. That’s where the Harsin era really screwed this thing up too.
A good coach evaluates his players strengths and builds his offensive scheme to maximize those strengths HF can’t do that that’s why he whines about talent constantly
Had sooooo many expectations for this team this year with a QB that's played for so many years AND is the son of an actual coach...🤔. And how we don't RUN THE BALL with the best back in the SEC is beyond me. The play calling was MIND BLOWING all year, and the HC is supposed to be an offensive mastermind? The record should have been wayyyyy better! They better get it right with this new blood coming in...💯!
Payton Thorne is not the architect of this lousy season. There are issues in every single phase of the game. The most glaring factor is lousy play calling and game planning. The failure to utilize Jarquez Hunter is mind numbing. Payton Thorne does not deserve credit for all 7 losses, and a wonderful new QB from the portal will not turn this thing around. Coaching and play calling is what will rectify all our failures. If CHF gets a great QB from the portal, it won't matter if he doesn't get his own act together. This lousy season is on Freeze, full stop. WDE!
@@lewismorris5931 not sure what that means, exactly. I'm a lifelong fan, but that doesn't matter when it comes to good players not wanting to stay in a system that is not going to use their talents aptly. that is amplified in today's era of the portal. Hunter is a player who deserves to showcase his talent on a winning team, and, unforturnately, our coach is not creating that for him.
My bad...I for sure thought he had a year of eligibility remaining. I made the mistake, because, although I love Auburn sports, in general, it doesn't rule my life. I'm a missionary in an Eastern European country that has more going on than football - namely struggling to survive a war on its doorstep. So, that being said, it was sad to see that our coaches didn't actually know how to call games in order to put Auburn in better positions to win.
Wasn’t this fella just talking a bunch of shit before the game? Bama was just better than Auburn. Bama also could’ve had 2 more easy TDs, on top of what they had, even with the turnovers. Maybe Bamas defense was just better than auburns offense. They ran it a few times. It didn’t work. They passed it a few times, that didn’t go any better. Sorry. Barners just weren’t as good as a team. Much like ya boi saying he was faster than Milroe and that he wasn’t gonna let him out of the box. Then Milroe threw for 250 and ran for another 100 and 3 TDs.
I mean Alabama won the game because they are the better team, 4 turnovers and Bama defense stood up and stopped Auburn from getting into the endzone. Of course Auburn had chances, bad play calling is a reason but the better team won and to think that Auburn is better than Alabama, and you saying that you would feel better if the game was lost because Bama was better is crazy.
Auburn is terrible on offense and that is what Hugh Freeze was brought in for. Alabama is a top 5 team so they are going to win. Jalen Milroe is a first round NFL pick. Alabama is a pro team and has been since about 2010. Pure pro team.
It’s your show, you can talk about who you want to. I get it. The shows colors are orange and blue. Like, ya know we get it. But why not talk about the winning team in the iron bowl? It’s always “if we had” or “if Hugh would”. Let some things go and get us actual content
auburn does have stud dbs, but they have no interior d lineman to actually cause an issue. all the talent on their d line is off the edge. there’s no Derrick Brown, Marlon davidson, even marcus harris level player in that DT group
I think Thorne didn’t fit this system. I think he would excel at another system. Freeze could very well be telling him to check to certain plays in these situations making Thorne look like the bad guy when in reality the play calling is outdated and terrible in certain moments of the game! Let’s see if the NFL takes him in… he may be something, a true coach could produce him.
I don’t think they coached like Thorne was elite. He only threw the ball down field maybe 2-3 times all game. The double pass with Hunter was the worst call I’ve seen all year. First down on their 30 and we were moving the ball. Throwing a double pass screams we have no faith in our offense. Also we continue to rush 3 and leave the middle of the field wide open .
Man I totally agree it was a bad call but dang, what would have worked?? Hunters last 9 carries got 13 yds👀 . To me it looks like once you get to the red zone your athletes or lack of athletes is really magnified due to the field being condensed. It was obvious we just couldn’t hold up with our line play. We got whipped every time we got inside the 20. Not having a good QB crippled Auburn all season in the red zone. Play calls didn’t really lose that game. We got our ass kicked in the red zone everytime. Did the halfback pass hurt, yeah it did. But nothing else worked either. This is a player problem or lack there of. It takes 3 years to rebuild a line according to most coaches. Lewis was a total disaster at tackle and he had tons of offers. I guess I sound like a smart ass and I’m really not trying to be. Other then recruit like your hair is on fire I don’t see away out of this. Our recruitment of linemen has been a disaster since Gus was here up until last year. It’s getting better by a lot but it’s by no means a quick fix. Freeze knows he has to bring a true QB and more linemen in this year or he won’t survive. He has won everywhere he has been. He hasn’t forgot how to call plays but he missed badly on Thorne. He knows next year is do or die. I will give it one more year because I think he has the track record to back that up. But the clock is ticking.
@@WendyJones-zy8kqrunning the ball out of shotgun 100% of the time is so hard especially in the redzone unless your going to run the qb. Last year Montgomery did a much better job of using thornes legs than freeze did this year. Getting the qb under center and letting Hunter get a head start coming down hill makes things easier in the run game for short yardage situations and it also opens up play action and bootlegs. Hell I’d rather throw 3 jump balls to Coleman before trying a double pass with Hunter and ask him to throw a ball 65 yards .

Jarquez Hunter was stuffed on practically every attempt but 1 or 2, that's why. Also being down 21 - 6 means you have to prettty much abandon the running game, right Kurt? Should have been offsetting penatlies on the scuffle (#5 AU reciever really got away with it), otherwise AU would not have scored the TD. We had you guys beat midway through the 2nd Quarter, despite the turnovers. Can't believe Freeze didn't run it in from 1st and goal from the 2. Oh wait, he tried, didn't he? :D FIVE IN A ROW! Malachi Moore is the first player in the series history to beat the opposing team all 5 years of eligibility... Roll Tide! :)
While Thorne had some of the physical skills & classroom football IQ to potentially run a shotgun RPO scheme, he looks like he would’ve been better served in a play action offense from mostly under center. Running play action from shotgun looks no different to RPO for the defense.
Hugh free.e was way to pass happy….but you have to give bamas defense and coordinator a lot of credit they bailed us out in this game and they played great.
I said same thing when he threw ball away, like u damn idiot u was gonna turn the ball over on downs anyways throw it up make it a 50 50 ball give our guy a chance even if u throw the pick chances are they won't return it back to the original line of scrimmage so u give the defense a little more field to get a chance to defend
Auburn sucks man… Hugh Freeze is a joke as a coach 😂 he can’t even make them bowl eligible 😂😂😂 Bama tried to give them the game with 4 turnovers 😂😂😂 all recruits that want to be losers… go to Auburn
Freeze isn't the guy. He never was the guy. He has no imagination. He can't adjust. He's a terrible gameday coach. He can't even manage the clock properly. But he's a good recruiter? So what? So was Jimbo Fisher. And where is he now? Right where Freeze should be TODAY! How many years do we suffer with this buffoon?
Freeze is in eternal recovery. This team plays with the same low energy rehabilitation BS like the coach. He has some lingering issues. Listen to his press conference's after the games. It's miserable! Pathetic excuses. He has to resign. Get Sanders to Coach. If Deion wants to be the Auburn HC.

Since my first game in ‘74 until social media it was Auburn University. Now so many nut jobs on social media think they know better! I’m a fan of Auburn University! Not just Auburn football!
Like Mike Dubos..Mike Shula..Mike Price...Bill Curry...you should know... Auburn thanks you for the rocket science brain surgery advice!!
SC would go farther because their defense is better than bama’s
@@Iceman24424 Their QB isn't better than Milroe.
@@ChristopherX30Milroe might have a higher ceiling but Sellers is wayyyy more consistent
@ BS!!
Each of you guys makes perfect sense.
Thorne made the grown man decision to go to Auburn.
lol Jarquez Hunter had 9 yards on his last 8 carries
Man you speaking to much truth for these “give it to quez we will win” folks! Most don’t watch the line on both sides enough to see it!
Exactly. It was obvious Auburn doesn’t have the horses yet.
I’m sorry, what game did you watch? Bama dominated this game. The turnovers are the only reason it was only a 14 point win.
Turn overs cause by Auburn, imagine if we turned at least two of those turnovers into points im pretty sure you don’t win game.
@ But Bama’s defense needs to get credit for stopping the Barn’s offense
Finally, someone keeping it real in these comments. Bama was walking it down the field every drive but couldn't stop turning the ball over.
Cohn I agree joe tesitorri Friday night was getting on my nerves saying that when a week ago nobody wanted to play on championship weekend
The offensive line play has been so bad they get over powered or they can’t pick up a blitz when Thorne tried to pass they where all in his face and he has to move out the pocket
As a Bama fan, the QB that would worry me is Auburn portaled if Byrum Brown from USF.
Hell no. Kid can’t hit downfield passes for shit. Auburn would be 7-5 at best. Coming from a Bama fan also.
They're Auburn fans giving other people credit is something they aren't capable of.
@@GpG-dt4su😂😅
@@GpG-dt4su agreed
We'll see.
Freeze can’t call plays anymore. Montgomery was better last year.
These Haters dont realize that they're in the bigger picture now. Their body language and haterism is so on display for all to see. Hey friends. Ya wanna be "universal" ya gotta be un-biased. You cant even do that. Don't think you aint being evaluated. Got folks :coughing" like haters in the background. You think We cant "See" what it is? Some of "Us" know the "Thing"....Keep coughing. Winners speak clearly. No need for the interruption. On YOU. I just put you high level blast. See you fam. Its "Bigtime: yall gotta "get better". But you just wanna be "mad" Yall ain't ready. Never was. You know it. Its ok to get mad, but you cant stay that way. Your 3rd guy is the smartest in the room. Your other two gotta get back to work. They're the babies that not only aren't there, but may not ever get THERE
Errr what?
You said what the Auburn would have to do to win on Zack’s show and they did none of it.
“If Hugh Miss Hugh will be fired”
WDE!
This dude is acting like Alabama didn't drop two touchdown passes
Man Sthu
I was really waiting on the best RB in the sec to show up all game
@@Q2GLObalWatchin should have told your linebacker that before the game.
There are two Auburn alumni talking in this video. They're pro-Auburn as hell! It's more about how Auburn lost than how Bama won, for them.
@ Sthu u had a Alabama Alumni commentating the game lol hell u talking bout
5 in a row ROLL TIDE 🐘🐘
We’re finally calling out Hugh Freeze
I’ve stood by this. HUGH FREEZE IS THE PROBLEM.
As an Alabama fan I feel we have same problem Milro can’t run Debors offense the way he wants to run . He’s great athlete but not qb .
Why waste a whole show - you know what Auburn is
Auburn will be lucky if Hunter isn't in the portal. If he does leave, he is the one guy I wouldn't blame and still consider an Auburn man.
Hunter eligibility is up, so he is leaving
his eligibility is up, he’s leaving for the NFL lol
Tell us you know nothing about Auburn football without telling us you know nothing about Auburn football!
Alabama dominated and controlled this game the entire way. Stop being ridiculous. We saw the game
Milroe for Heisman
I didn’t hear one time where they said auburn was the better team lmao
It’s your show, you can talk about who you want to. I get it. The shows colors are orange and blue. Like, ya know we get it. But why not talk about the winning team in the iron bowl? It’s always “if we had” or “if Hugh would”. Let some things go and get us actual content
This is just the Auburn segment from the full show talking about the game. They talk plenty about Bama and everyone else. Do you not watch?
@ I try not to cause of all the “we” and “us” talk referring to AU
You need stud DLs and DBs to successfully rush only three, which Auburn does not have.
auburn does have stud dbs, but they have no interior d lineman to actually cause an issue. all the talent on their d line is off the edge. there’s no Derrick Brown, Marlon davidson, even marcus harris level player in that DT group
I definitely wasn’t happy with Peyton Thorne’s play, but it’s definitely Hugh Freeze’s fault and not Peyton ‘s.
Offensive staff needs to be fired
Auburn alumni😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hey fool, they fumbled four times and he still won
I feel like this staff failed the players and the fans. They seem to forget we have the best running back in the SEC and a below average QB
Bama dominated Auburn on the lines of scrimmage! Yes Bama was better.
A bunch of depressed Bama Haters. Same old song and dance. EAT IT.

I'm a bama fan but that double pass call was atrocious Auburn had the momentum but that ended it
Man Milroe screwed it up if he doesn't fumble twice the score is 42-6 come on bro. Bama kept Auburn in the game. Them boys were not ready for Bama.
I'd say you won the turnover margin by 3. That last INT was garbage time
Hopefully one day you guys can coach the team so we can be great! 🙄
That’s probably why he had such a good year with Kenneth Walker at Michigan State
Hugh free.e was way to pass happy….but you have to give bamas defense and coordinator a lot of credit they bailed us out in this game and they played great.
Y’all Auburn fans are coping hard.
I don't understand why you guys have an expectation of winning anymore. Auburn has only been good a couple times in decades
You're right. This season is, more or less, who Auburn actually is now.
Just admit Auburn is not good. Pudding damn😂😂😂😂😂😂
Bama 11 oops
Auburn sucks man… Hugh Freeze is a joke as a coach 😂 he can’t even make them bowl eligible 😂😂😂 Bama tried to give them the game with 4 turnovers 😂😂😂 all recruits that want to be losers… go to Auburn
Bama 4 turnovers, drop a td pass and still dominated

Oklahoma appeared to do what Vandy did to Alabama. Auburn has a better RB than both and an athletic QB, SMH.
Id love to know what thornes dad said
Hugh got onto Payton a bunch this year…
Alabama did line up and was better. Alabama left 21+points off the board
Yeah, Bama just didn't play well... or did they win despite 4 turnovers???? It wasn't all Auburn screwing up, maybe Bama had something to do with it.
Alabama Defense was solid in BDS on Saturday, that's the key factor in the game. Yes my friends, Hugh Freeze / Auburn can keep losing to Alabama.
Auburn not play well in Tuscaloosa?? Only since the Saban years. Before that we had NEVER beaten Auburn in T-Town. Nothing sweeter than Auburn tears except maybe leftist tears. Roll Tide!
