- In this video, a woodworking lathe is used to create a vase using colored pencils and epoxy.
The method is called wood turning.

This is one of the best coloured pencil projects I have seen. You did a great job here because those pencils are not easy to work with.

Because it is an inexpensive pencil, it is very soft and some cores have come off. However, there is no problem if it is glued again. It was a fun project.

鉛筆の削りカスの匂いって嫌いではないです。
最初にレジンで固めるシーンで掴んでわーっと描きたい気分になりました。
同じ衝動にかられました(笑)
レジンで固めたものを子供に見られ、取り返すのが大変でした。。。
100円ショップの色鉛筆ですが、木が柔らかくて芯が簡単に取れるので神経をとても使いました。
動画のストックが４つ程になり、編集、返信に毎日充実しています。

😅😅 Late to watch again. But I expected as much!!!! 🤩 Color pencil -resin works are a luxurious pleasure to watch. Who doesn't love colors, right??? Even if there is no woodturning... That turning of colored pencils in resin is an amazing project love the rainbow of colors in the finished project. Another thing to try is to take all those scraps of wood that are too small to turn but to beautiful to throw away and throw them into a bucket, add resin then make it into a bowl or vase and its a good way to multiple species of wood in one project

Great overall project Yamabiko, do hope you’ve given a few more sealing coats of clear as color leads need more strengthening incase vase is knocked over & leads break or come out.👍👍👍

In Japan, various types of colored pencils are sold in large quantities at low prices. I use a pencil whose core strength is too weak to be used as a colored pencil. The core breaks even with a child's writing pressure.😅

A lot of dust dances inside. Cutting is easy, but the drawback is that the core comes off. It may be because I used cheap colored pencils.

I like how you are repurposing and recycling wood from trees that were removed in your other videos. I like how you are recycling and repurposing everything associated with what you are doing, wood chips, using leftovers from previous project in other projects. It is really admirable to see this. I am curious what you would make with leftover wood shavings and resin. I could be interesting.

Hi there Yamabiko , - in considering the mess & waste of many pencils , one of my associates of turning mentioned placing a solid core center - ( pine ) within saving not only pencils wholly but making less mess while turning. He said that he was not in rush / excited about doing a 2nd .

This colored pencil is a very cheap product and lacks the performance as a colored pencil. Even if you draw with a weak force, it will break. My family only requests vessels, but my friends request a lot of flower objects.
