I've watch several of yur videos andt,to me, it looks like it's the same type of tree the wood looks medium hard with a straight grain. Similar to lime tree here in the UK
Very nice!! I like it!! I do have one concern, however. I shuttered when I saw you stick your hand into the bowl as it was spinning a few hundred RPM. This is a recipe for serious injury and potential loss of your entire arm. I am a retired safety engineer where I investigated industrial accidents that involved injury and death. Over my 45 years of investigation, I have seen thousands of injuries. Some of those injuries involved the exact same thing you were doing and the outcome can be very gruesome. Do not do this, my friend. All it takes is one small catch inside the bowl to catch your hand, finger or arm and you may have a life changing injury; even death due to blood loss or infection. Please turn safely.
