Thanks 4 the vid! For anyone having problems with drawers 1) Make sure you install rails correctly [DL/DR=Drawers Left/Right] [CL/CR for planks]. 2) On plank the wheels face the front. On drawers the wheels should face the back, with the smooth part closer to handle. 3) With drawer don’t skip the first whole closest to front of drawer, when installing rails. [IDK why there are so many wholes, lol]. GOOD LUCK. Took me about 4 hrs!

Between Hemnes and Brimnes daybed, would you strongly recommend one over the other based on your experience assembling them? For example, while assembling have you noticed any difference in sturdiness, quality of materials, ergonomics, etc.? Thanks

I can't be the only one who goes on the bed so carefully because the wood and the outside rail that the wood laying on is is weak and fragile, is anyone dared to experiment and know how much it can take? I'm also scared to pull it out and make it into a double bed because I will remove the support that the drawers and the extra wood provides when it is not pulled out....Anyone any experience ? Thanks

Thank you so much for the video. Very useful. However rim facing an issue with the sliding extension. It doesn’t go smoothly and when I force it, the frame of the bed lifts off the floor. Can you please advise? Thank you
I noticed that the mattresses are very thin. Is it possible to use 2 thick mattresses or would I have to use the thin ones?

Also, 4 of the drawer pieces were made wrong, we had to drill our own holes as one side was off over an inch from where the holes lined up.
It happens to me once to and is so annoying. Usually they accurate with all holes and screws.

The wheels from the 4 things so the bed can slide out, won’t slide smooth for me. If i lift it up it rolls just fine but if I set it on the ground, it won’t slide smoothly. What do I do? My floor looks like yours so I don’t think it’s because of the floor.

There’s something wrong with my bed... when I push the storage unit in, it lifts the front 2 legs of the bed off the ground and it’s very difficult to push and pull the storage unit in and out.... what did I do wrong?? I believe I have done exactly as the instructions.
Hello
One of two things have happened either you have screwed your wooden slats onto the wrong side of the metal bars or you have the long metal bars the wrong way round somewhere.
if you think of the Long metal angle bars the point where the bend is in the bar... the bend always needs 2face towards the closest edge of the piece of wood it's screwed onto.
Unfortunately it seems like Peter has not had time to get back to you so if you need to call unflatpack to come help you out you can Google us.
Remembering when the two bed parts get pushed together the wooden slats should be almost perfectly level and I say almost because they are not perfectly level

this bed is loud and usntable. please show what can we do to stabilize it and keep it quiet.

What is the is the length and width of the bed in inches at 6:29
When the bottom part is out does the top part become less supportive.? Hopefully that makes sense
There are two metal L shape stoppers on the main frame so when you extend the bed you shouldn't go over the middle so main frame have support on the middle from the extending part and both parts of the bed are fine. If the extending part go all the way out ower the stoppers there is nothing to support the main frame on the middle it can break. Hope that help all the best :)
Thats correct open just till stoppers stop you from opening more.

I'm interested in this bed. i now have a full mattress but i see pulling this completely out would create more of a king bed.. do you think i could get away with just not pulling it out all the way to fit my mattress.? I've seen that it doesnt come out easy with a carpeted floor.

Hi!!what size of mattress did you use?I have two mattress 80*200cm..They should be ok ..but they are to big..is it possible??Or maybe i do something wrong during assembly
Size of the mattresses is Mattress length: 200 cm Mattress width:80 so possibly you did something wrong hard to say what if I can't see it.

I have to take mine partially apart just to move it temporary. Is it possible just to take off the sides, so it's in 3 large pieces?
If you want to take main frame apart it will be 3pieces two sides and back there is 3small parts on the top they join in the corners and front you need to remove front metal rail 2screws on the each side. If you moving I would recommend to dismantle main frame as is not strong enough for transportation.
I need to disassemble this bed to move it. Any suggestions where to start? I can keep the roller drawers in tact, I'm just not sure where to begin with the actual frame. Any help (as quickly as possible) I'd really appreciate it!~
Get your manual from Ikea and start from last page :)

Thanks for the video! I'm trying to figure out if I can unfold the bed only part way? I have a small room and a single daybed is perfect for it. But I'd love to have a little bit larger bed too, yet I don't have the room for a double bed because of an immovable radiator. I thought I could just unfold this 30cm and make a memory foam mattress with a 30cm cushion section that would fill the space. The problem is the slats; does the metal bar have to be there if I don't unfold it all the way? Or is it otherwise structurally unsound if I only unfold it a little bit? I think if for some reason it is just uncomfortable or if the metal bar has the stay, a thick memory foam mattress will probably hide any issues. But I'd be interested in your thoughts?
