Great Sermon! I really needed this clarification on Biblical signs and times, as do a lot of Christians. Two sets of signs, for two periods of time; end times and time of the end- a large stretch of time, and a short period of time before Jesus comes. Trying to keep the sabbath day as a moral obligation, for example, is lapsing back to Judaism and putting oneself under the law. Returning to Judaism is described as going back to perdition because only Jesus saves, not the Old Testament system. He is "the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him (Hebrews 5:9)."
18. In the KJV, the word "sabbath' isn't even mentioned in the book of Hebrews as well as the rest of the New Testament after the book of Acts except for Colossians 2:16, where the apostle Paul warns Christians about judgmental sabbath keepers.

@@edaguirre8952 The sabbath is the fourth commandment so it still applies, which is why we go to church on the seventh day of the week, the day of rest. Matthew 5:17 17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them." Exodus 20:8 "Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy."
@@edaguirre8952 Ed, with all due respect, the word “Sabbath” is mentioned 59 times in the bible from Genesis to Revelation. The word “Sunday” is never mentioned but the words “the first day of the week” with no reference to keeping it holy and/or resting, but just a day where people went about their business. In Daniel 7:25, it warns of the beast (I assume you know who this is) speaking pompous words against the Most High and intending to change times and the law.) This, as you know was changed ie Saturday to Sun-day, the day of worship and the deletion and separating of a commandment to make it back up to 10 commandments. It also states in Acts 20:30 “men” will rise up, speaking perverse things to draw away disciples after themselves. 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 states a warning to not be deceived by anyone, for the day will come when the man of sin is revealed (has already) and he will exhault himself above all that is called God and is to be worshipped.
I suggest you have a look at Revelation 15:1-8. Here it states that the 7 angels went into the “heavenly” sanctuary and received from God the 7 bowls with the 7 last plagues. It is in here where the Ark of the Covenant is found. God’s 10 commandments are inside. It has not been stated once that the 10 commandments have been changed by God but that they sit in the heavenly sanctuary.
It is man that has changed them and if we do not understand the mark of the beast and seal of God, we are lost.
The 4th commandment is God’s seal. Revelation 1:10 says the Sabbath is the Lord’s Day. Genesis 2:3 says God blessed the seventh day and made it holy. He also states in Exekiel 20:20 “Hallow my Sabbaths, and they will be a sign between me and you”. In Matthew 15:3 he states the transgressing of the commandment of God because of men’s tradition. I could go on, but I think you get the point.
Know that the Seal of God is coming very soon. It is based on those that keep his Sabbath day, his Seal, and faith and love of Jesus etc., and those that worship the beast will be destroyed. Personally, I’d be following God’s law that exists in the Ark of the Covenant and not a Sunday that was introduced by man.
I, for one, would be making sure you know exactly what the Seal of God entails. I shall pray for you Ed. I hope you can look into this further and see that the very issue is the Sabbath. Blessings. 🙏🙏

In response:
1. If the 4th commandment could be changed (Exodus 20:8-11), that very act would mean the 10 commandments would be arbitrary and any or all could be changed. Christ said “I am the Lord, I change not;” (Malachi 3:6) and “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.” (Matthew 5:17) Why? Because the commandments represent His character. Furthermore, the 4th commandment is the only one that states “REMEMBER”, as YHWH knew the measures that would be taken to destroy and if possible obliterate the commandment that contains all the elements of His SEAL.
2. You’re quite correct with your final comment. Worshipping on the sABBAth day does NOT offer an automatic pass into Heaven. There is a difference between worshipping the day versus the Creator of the day. Those who crucified our Saviour were indeed sABBAth keepers.
3. Please check the Catholic catechisms; they acknowledge changing the 7th day sABBAth solemnity to the 1st day of the week, i.e. “SUN-day is their MARK of authority”.
4. There is such beauty and order within the Scriptures and there are no co-incidence. Hence, realising that the following all have 4 as a common denominator (to mention a few) is profound:
• The Sun (Genesis 1:14 -19) = was created on the 4th day;
• sABBAth commandment (Exodus 20:8-11) = is the 4th;
• 4th angel (Revelation 16:8, 9) = vial is poured on the sun because of SUN-day worship;
“FOUR denotes creative works (3 +1), and always has reference to the material creation, pertaining to the earth, and things “under the sun”, and things terrestrial.” Dr Bullinger on Numbers in Scripture.
5. When the earth is made new, Isaiah 66:23 tells us “…From one new moon to another, and from one sABBAth to another, shall all flesh come to worship before Me, saith the Lord.” This clearly states that the sABBAth will be celebrated throughout eternity.
6. As a result of the desecration of “The Lord’s Day” (Exodus 20:8; Isaiah 58:13; Matthew 12:8; Mark 2:28; Luke 6:5; John 1:3; Revelation 1:10; and many more), “The day of the Lord” will soon follow (Joel 2; Joel 3:15; Jeremiah 30:5-8; Matthew 24:29, 30; Revelation 6:14-17; and many more).
"Truth, absolute truth, exists and it even speaks to us; what matters for us is whether or not we will listen to and obey what it is saying."

Daniel and Revelation go hand and hand. Starts in Daniel Chapter 2 all the way through Daniel chapter 12. And Matthew CHAPTER 24, Revelation CHAPTERS 14 vs 6 thru 12 and Recelation Chapter 18 vs 1 thru 4 , which is God's Last Call for His people to come out pf the False System's of Apostate Protestantism.

@@edaguirre8952 The Sabbath is apart of God's moral law. God and Adam kept the Sabbath at the end of the six-days Creation. God rested on the seventh day from all the works he had done. God does not tire. So, it can deduced that He blessed and sanctified the day for mankind to rest and send the day with him. Further, the Sabbath is the fourth commandment, which identifies who God is -- the Creator of the earth, the sea and the springs of waters. If you are willing to throw out the Sabbath, then we ought to throw out the other nine, which would cause a moral collapse of the Church and the society, at large. God's new covenant refers to the writing of his laws in our hearts. You must understand that God is not the Author of confusion. In addition, he does not share his glory with any man-made god and traditions. Constantine, Emperor, by his human authority, changed God's sacred day, the Sabbath, to Sunday, a spurious sabbath. Adam and Eve must have reasoned in their hearts, before partaking of the forbidden fruit, that God could not have been that serious about the eating of a fruit. After all, he had made all things, "good." And to some extent, it is true. God did make all things wonderful, including the forbidden fruit. However, where they sinned is that they disobeyed the Word of God. God created all seven days and we should pay homage to Him every day. Nevertheless, as the Creator, he has enjoined us to spend an entire with him -- to rest from all our works. Let us refrain from obeying God's word. There's a blessing, no matter how simple the command, in following God's commandments.

Besides you shouldn't care what the truth is but that it is true without religion or popular opinion. What would you think if everyone changed your birthday by a day but some still remembered the rite day? Who would you celebrate with ? This isn't a date that you can just change. The change was made primarily for reason of creating a segregation of the jews from the christian church to start planting the seeds of the modern trees of racism and prejudice among other effects. I was a sunday guy but i learned that there is such a thing as absolute truth and now this stuff really matters. This will affect the life, like immediately, try it once with sincere and holy intention of obedience to God and you will see. I dare you. God said to test Him and see if He is real.
