Unless apologia has a clone lol or relationship with a church like them in el paso / south new mexico, im going to start traveling to mesa to seek membership, and to look for property should they hopefully accept me. I need discipleship and leadership like them.
Look up grace Immanuel bible church or churches within the Expositors seminary. The teaching and discipleship is really great.

One thing I think really goes over peoples heads is the time factor. Time as a construct that humans are bound to.
God is not bound to the construct of time. He exists outside of it, therefore he is not bound by the rules of time.
Humans have difficulty thinking of anything that is unaffected by time. This applies to God’s eternal existence, his omnipresence, his omniscience; it applies to the issue of his Sovereignty and the apparent “free will” of man;
and it also applies to the Triune nature of the Essence that is God. He doesn’t exist by the rules of time, space, and matter which govern the singular-existence-state of creation.
Another interesting thing people get hung up on is that the word “God” is used as a synonym for the Father, therefore when we say, “Jesus is God,” guess what they hear?
Y’all addressed that God is the Nature, and the three persons are Father, Son, and Spirit, but it still just goes right over people’s heads. They don’t want to understand what we are really saying … obviously because their eyes are blinded. 😔

Just adding to what you wrote about the Nature of God that certainly also goes over people’s heads: He is the only One that shares Nature in 3 Persons distinctly, individually and at the same time interdependently ❤ and.. He reveals Himself as Exclusively Personal in Each of Them and as All sufficient as 3 in 1 and 1 as 3 👏🏻 very well said though in everything you wrote 🙌🏻
I think it's one of those things no one can fully understand! At least, in this life. I can't wait until we meet Him and we do. Or... at least we will have better understanding than we do now. We will be exploring the wonders of our incredible God for all eternity. I cannot wait!

Did you know that the early Fathers of the church and the saints did not believe in the trinity?
Why?? Because the trinity didn’t exist for 384 years after the ascension of Christ and His apostles died.
The early fathers have writings about the true nature of god that show they did not believe in the trinity… that is why a council of Nicene came to be where hundreds of men, theologians philosophers debated the nature of God, and then voted on it.
The creeds are added “scripture”. To be a Catholic or Protestant you have to swear to the trinity creed. Which is not biblical.

At about 32:00…. I’ve always said that “serpent” was a synecdoche, an ancient idiom in which the snakelike movement of its tail represented the cat tempting Eve in the garden. Same goes for the great dragon in Revelation. The myth of dragons breathing fire began when a cat spat out a fur ball into a campfire and the fermented fats and hair went FOOM!
There is no denomination besides Christian! People can divide themselves all they want, but there is only one God and one church. Anything else is man-made!

For anyone watching this, there are actual, real, solid biblical answers to everything Jeff brought up here showing how his reading of the verses is not what the Bible means by it. Unfortunately, he went through so many that it's time-prohibitive for the average person to write out comments explaining each one. I just encourage everyone watching to go to the Bible and see what it actually says in context, and in surrounding verses, and what it refers to. Think about your assumptions as you read it and then dig for answers to your assumptions.
For example, when the Jews say things to Jesus......is what they say correct? The murderous, hate-filled Jewish religious leaders who were looking for any reason to kill Jesus....do we want to get our theology from them? Or do we want to get our theology from the God-glorifying crowd praising what Jesus did? Or for example, when Jesus did various things that "only God could do".....does the Bible tell us that He did them "because He was God"? Or does it tell us that He did them "because He spoke what the Father taught Him", because He "did nothing of Himself" (John 8:28)" and because He was empowered BY GOD to do them?
Or for example, as Jeff hammers home that the Holy Spirit is referred to as "He".....look at the verses and at the Greek to see what the "he" pronoun refers to. If it's referring to advocate (parakletos), well.....that's a masculine noun in the Greek, and so Greek will use a masculine referring pronoun. Just like if it was talking about an inanimate object in Greek that was a masculine noun, it would use the same masculine pronoun. This doesn't mean the inanimate object is a "he", though. We know in English to use "it". But for translators who have a Trinitarian bias, they will put "he" even when "it" is more warranted. Just more food for thought.

@@kardiognostesministries8150 like I said, there are answers to everything Jeff said, as well as all other pro-Trinity arguments. Just because an Old Testament verse is applied to a New Testament entity does not mean they are the same being. That is not a teaching of the Bible. Otherwise we would have some pretty weird additional claims being made about OTHER people in the OT who are also apparently God by the same rule, e.g. the verse in Hebrews that says "your throne, O God, is forever and ever" is originally about a human psalmic king in the OT, not about the Most High God.
Jesus Himself tells the Jews in John 8:54 that their God (i.e. the God of the Old Testament, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob) is *the Father.* It's not Himself and it's not a Trinity:

The problem for the speaker, is that when Isaiah spoke those words and penned them, he did not use a substitute for God's name such as "Lord" or "God", Isaiah (to use the English name) would have said "Jehovah"; so right from the start the speaker has a problem!

First of all it wouldn’t be Jehovah. The word Jehovah is a latinized word made in the made in the Middle Ages. So Lord is appropriate. The Jews didn’t pronounce the name of God because they didn’t want to take use it in a worthless way. The Bible in the Old Testament only, has the Tetragrammaton, YHWH. In Hebrew it is only made of consonants and no vows so we do not know the correct spelling or pronunciation of the divine Name. They took the vows from Adonai and Elohim inserted them and we get Yahweh. That means I AM. One of the Names of God. Jesus Christ says to call God Father and we refer to Christ as Lord. There is no such thing as the trinity. The trinity is a 100% false, unbiblical, manmade CONcept. The Bible clearly tells us that God is seven spirits and not three.
The Bible never calls God omniscient, omnipotent, omnibenevolent, etc. These are merely terms to summarize the nature of who God is. The word trinity is a combination of 2 descriptions. Tri, and unity. We see that The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are in unity with each other, but we also see that they are distinct. Distinct in being? No, for that would be tritheism. Distinct in modes/forms? No, for that would be modalism. Both tritheism and modalism are deadly deadly heresies, because Jesus is not the Father, the Holy Spirit is not Jesus, and the Father is not the Holy Spirit. Also there is but one God so tritheism fails the rest as well.
@@onecrispynugget9959 we do not see that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are in unity with each other. What we DO see is that the Father and Son are one, as explicitly stated by the Son Himself. The Son Himself does not include the Holy Spirit in that "unity".
And yet, the Son Himself also wants us believers to be one even as He and the Father are one. We cannot say that we are to be one in BEING with God Himself. The Bible never teaches this. So the Father and Son must be one in some other way.
When Jesus says He and the Father are one in John 10:30, the context is in neither He nor the Father letting the sheep out of either of their hands. That is the manner in which they are one. Not in essence. Not in being. But in not letting the sheep out of each of their grasps.

Hebrews 1 says otherwise of your claim. “He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of His nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power.”in verse 3. The Son and the Father are distinct, for the Son took on a human nature and the Father did not. If Jesus is the exact imprint of God’s nature, how is he not of the same essence? If the Father and the Son are not of the same being or essence, what nature does Jesus have? I’m assuming you’re Arian; as in, you believe Jesus is a created, non-divine being? Sorry if I got that wrong but if you believe that Jesus is God then you have to believe he is of the same nature as the Father.

Regarding Hebrews 1, yes, Jesus is the exact representation of God’s nature. He perfectly reflects to us who God is. But the Bible doesn’t say He does this because He is also God Himself. The Bible tells us how He does this - by doing whatever He sees the Father doing, and saying whatever He hears the Father saying. Jesus says His words are not His own. He perfectly reflects the Father to us by submitting Himself entirely to the Father’s will. Of course Jesus will perfectly represent the Father to us if He lives this way. It’s not an implication of sameness of “essence” though.
The Bible doesn’t thinly slice things like “what kind of nature does Jesus have”? It’s unconcerned with those kind of questions. It is concerned with who Jesus is, definitely, but Christians get very wrapped up in things like “natures” and “essences” when the Bible gives very little value to that stuff. The Bible doesn’t say the Son “took on a human nature”. Rather, it says He “took on flesh and blood”. It is very specific with those words.
I am not an Arian. I don’t know what Arians believe. I think labels like that only serve to divide at this point in history. You and I are both just believers trying to figure out the Word of God as best as we can. At this point, after looking into it a while, I believe Jesus is the light spoken into existence in Genesis 1:3. The same light mentioned in John 1:4. So in that sense I do think He is a created being. But “non-divine”? It depends on what you mean by “divine”. I think Jesus was the first thing spoken into existence, and He is what 1 Corinthians 15 calls “a heavenly man” (when it contrasts the first Adam with the last Adam….earthly man with heavenly man). This heavenly man took on flesh and blood to be like us earthly men in every way.

Yes, absolutely! What the spiritually dead and blind (fake christians) call "Calvinism" is the truth, the gospel, and the Christianity of the Bible. Around 99% of the worlds, and 100% of the churches population is predestined for the lake of fire.
If anyone is actually a Christian, they will not be found in, and will have nothing to do with anything known as the church.
We're all "predestined" for Hell, in the sense that we are all sinners deserving just punishment for our sins. I know I sure am. I'm not sure if it was RC Sproul or someone else who said something like: "Some people receive mercy. Some people receive justice. But no one receives injustice." (My paraphrase.)
Please don't allow this specific issue to drive you nuts and get you going down on all sorts of distracting rabbit trails. Call out to Christ for mercy and pardon for your sins, and you will receive it.

The Biblical Trinity is ONE TRANSCENDENT DIVINE SPIRITUAL PERSON (GOD) manifest in 3 different "states of being" as the Father, Son and Holy Spirit but all are still ONE SPIRITUAL person and not 3 as stated in the Athanasius Trinity Doctrine. ✝️ DEFINITIONS: BEING = defined as anything that exists or lives. PERSON = defined as any being that has its own center of consciousness and will, its own intelligence and personality (eg, human person "being" or spiritual person "being"). Therefore, a person is by default ALSO a being. So 3 PERSONS = 3 BEINGS = 3 GODS = Tritheism. This is not an accurate description of the "Biblical Trinity" which is strictly Monotheistic.

So this scene shows God in His 3 different "states of being" at the same time while remaining ONE spiritual person . the Trinity Doctrine says The Father is God and it says The Son is also God and also the Holy Spirit. So by implication, God sends God, and God speaks and prays to God. So why do you question your own "Trinity" Doctrine. God is Omnipresent so he exists as the Father, Son and Holy Spirit at the same time. While remaining one spiritual person. How does this happen ? Very easy God the Father as Spirit just sends his own spirit which manifests on earth as the Son in Flesh in order to die for our sins ( the word became flesh). So God in his Spiritual Form talks to God in his Physical (flesh) form. Jesus in flesh prays and talks to the Father in Spirit Conclusion they are the same Spiritual Person just different forms or manifestations. The alternative Trinity explanation says the Father and Son are 2 seperate persons = 2 seperate beings = 2 Gods = polytheism ( not biblical) the Bible is strictly monotheistic. God bless

I love the passion that Jeff Durbin has for the Bible and Christianity, however a lot of the things he teaches are not biblically correct. Reformed Christianity is borderline blasphemy and Trinitarianism is not accurate on any level to what Jesus Christ taught in the New Testament. Trinitarianism is a false belief that was essentially created by Constantine who was very corrupt. The Nicene Council was a meeting held in an attempt to save Christian beliefs from Arianism in that era by simplifying yet changing core doctrines. The Trinity was the result of that meeting yet it has no accuracy to what the Bible actually teaches. Trinitarianism is NOT Christianity. The actual definition of Christianity is a religion that follows the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth, not the Trinity. Christians who claim that a belief in the Trinity is a prerequisite to being Christian are so far from the teachings of the Bible.

You cannot be saved if you don’t believe Jesus is God. That is the trinity in a nutshell. If you believe Jesus is not God then you my friend might be in some serious trouble.

I don’t believe in the trinity (and creeds)that were voted on by philosophers and theologians not prophets.
I realize there are scriptures in the Bible that might allude to some funky form of a trinity if you read the passages with out full context in the Bible.
But the early saints did not believe in the Trinity, that is why Constantine ordered a group of men To argue out the nature of God and create the creeds.
