Excellent sermon, thank you Pastor Jeff
The only bold courageous preaching that I’m hearing these days is coming from the Reformed Post mill Calvinist theonomy camp.
I noticed same thing
Add Voddie Bauchum, Paul Washer
Glory to GOD ALONE BROTHER, may we pray and stand boldly on Gods word and praise our savior Jesus Christ proclaiming the mighty work of the spirit of God
@@evona9747Amen to that, brother Paul is a serious warrior for the kingdom
I honestly didn’t think Mr. Durbin was pro-Torah from other videos I’ve seen. As a pro-Torah believer, this is refreshing to hear. God’s Law isn’t evil! We have so misunderstood the nature of the Torah. Thank you for preaching the importance of the Torah for a Christian. 37:35
I love, love, love Psalm 119! I would've happily stood there and read the whole thing!
To God be the Glory! Thank you, faithful men at Apologia.
Just love him! Always speaking truth. Yes psalms 119 folks Yah law is truth forever!
Yup
Leave it to Pastor Jeff to be the one to bring the absolute HEAT. God Bless him….
A good reminder of the Biblical view of war & defending of one's homeland
AMEN!! Great Message!
Thank you brother.
Start in 0:56
I watched the coronation and thought, “Wow- how are they even allowed to proclaim Christianity like that anymore???!!!” I just loved hearing it proclaimed out loud, even if it was to their own judgment.
Amen and AMEN 🙏🏼
Great message
That’s amazing about Hawaii’s history.
Happy Independence Day in advance 😁😁😁😁😁
There's not much happy about a wicked, unrepentant nation under judgment.
Nations don’t get exalted, individual hearts do.
Amen
If righteousness exalts a nation what does unrighteousness do ?
2:00 "The sum of your word is truth". Oh, phew 😅. I thought at first he said "Some of your word is truth" 💀
Same, had me worried there for a second😅
Great sermon! Though since you brought it up, I’m curious what you do with Leviticus 18:19. Should married people not sleep together when the woman is on her menstrual period? Or is there some more context in that passage I’m not understanding that makes it so abominable/detestable?
I don't even want to KNOW that people do that! How disgusting!
Okay, but the point is, the other sexual sins in this chapter are basically all the different categories of partners that are forbidden. However, this one in 18:19 is something that lawfully married couples could do every month. Why then is that detestable? Am I missing another factor that makes what they are doing more nefarious?
@@grahampearson8169 Spiritually/biblical, I don't know. But just on the practical level, it's disgusting! Who even thinks like that? Ugh.
Given that the Ask Pastor John (Piper) vlog post about this very topic has 67K views, I’m not the only weirdo who has this question.
Maybe if I frame it this way, it’ll be more helpful what I’m getting at. Im thinking about the apologetic implications. Pastor Jeff is using Leviticus 18 as an example of where God’s standard are used to judge pagan nations, even still today, because they are vomited out of the land for doing the things described in that chapter.
One of the sins described doesn’t seem like the rest of them. Some unbelievers will ask (and already have) why God would destroy a people for doing something within marriage that He has blessed, just at the wrong time of the month. And that’s something I want to be able to have an answer for
Wait 7 days after the wife’s period starts. It’s a week without relations. If the bleeding keeps going, could be a medical issue. Having sex while your wife may have a disease isn’t a good idea. It’s mercy for husband and wife.
Hm. I think I'm mostly tracking with what he's saying. But I thought the purpose of declaring to the world God's standard was, at least, in part, to show them that they can't fully live up to it (since no one can) and therefore point them to Christ?
Question: Because America is now so openly wicked in their rejection of Christ, and assuming the invasion from the Southern border is part of God's judgment... are we even supposed to do anything about it? Are we also being vomited out of our own land? I don't even know.
I totally understand. I follow Jesus’s command to be “salt and light” while we occupy until He comes. And I still vote, pray for righteous leaders, and ask GOD to bring down the wicked ones.
@@maryowen1722 I guess that's all we can do. It's just hard when you don't even have options to vote for anyone halfway righteous! (I am stuck in Chicago.)
@@Yesica1993 You are on the battle front for sure. I will pray for you, I promise. HOLD ON AND LOOK UP- and SOMEHOW REJOICE!!!!😍👏🏼👏🏼👑🙏🏼🕊️✝️💟
@@maryowen1722 Thanks. Take care. In the end, we win!
@@Yesica1993 Yes, amen- we win a battle that’s already been won! How blessed are we???👍🏼
Pastor Jeff you seem to be quite knowledgeable in biblical truths, how can you justify keeping the Lord’s day over keeping GOD’s Holy command to keep the Sabbath. It seems as though you are purposefully overlooking this in that when you defend your reason for gathering on Sunday rather than the Sabbath, you look to the tradition of man rather than the WORD OF GOD. I am not saying gathering on any day other than the Sabbath is a sin, but what I am saying is that it seems like you, in contradiction to what you’re preaching in this sermon, are abolishing God’s law and keeping the pope’s command instead.
Contact jeff so he can explain most times we misunderstand what we hear
I had zero interest in watching the coronation of Charles because I figured there would be some Christian aspect to it and I didn't want to see these Christ hating hypocrites making a mockery of it.
