"If we abandon the law we have no message to preach to a dying world."
THANK YOU! No wonder so many people don't think they need to be saved, because we're not telling them why they need to be saved, and from what!

Do you believe the gospel of The Lord Jesus? Do you believe that He fulfilled the law and all righteousness and suffered and died on the cross for your sins in your place, atoning for your sins? Do you believe that He was raised up from the dead on the third day, triumphant over sin and death, justifying us who believe? Do you believe His word when He says that all who believe in Him have eternal life, will never be cast out, will be raised up on the last day and that no one can pluck us from His hands? If you truly believe this and trust in Christ for your salvation, then you ARE a new creation, you ARE indwelt by The Holy Spirit and you ARE saved, having eternal life. I urge you to read the scripture and see for yourself. Read the gospel of John, Romans, Ephesians, Galatians for starters. Praying for you

Those who rejected Christ will be judged according to the Books, which are the Book of Recorded Deeds and the Book of the Law.. which “declares them guilty before God.” (Romans 3:19)

Jesus: And why do you call Me 'Lord, Lord,' and not do what I say? Luke 6:46
Matthew 23:1-3 Then Jesus spoke to the crowds and to His disciples: “The scribes and Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. So
👉practice and observe👈 everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach.
Matthew 7:21-23 Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice of 👉lawlessness!’👈
    Btw Sabbath is a law.

In the NT there is much debate about the law versus Grace, The work of the Holy Spirit.
The gospel is the power of salvation unto them that believe says the scripture. ROM 3: 19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that *every mouth may be stopped* , and all the world may *become GUILTY before God* That's the Holy Spirit's way of telling the Sabbath keepers to shut up. >>>> about bragging how they keep the 10 commandments. The Law stands as a WITNESS against everyone who professes to keep it! Christ speaking to a Devout Jew ,Who also said he kept the 10 Commandments, SAID THERE IS NONE GOOD!
If the law condemns us, how then shall we ever find true righteousness???
It is only when one puts his faith being totally dependent on Christ to supply his strength and grace that the Holy Spirit can work through us by love to fulfill the works of the Spirit as noted in Gal .5:22 These gifts come from grace not through the law!!!
But, there are those who insist that without the law the Holy Spirit’s power and grace is void therefore one is helpless without the law and will commit every manner of sin!
Yet, the opposite is true. The more one looks to the law for righteousness the more the are found guilty of breaking the law. Indeed the law was intended to bring you to your knees in guilt and the darkness of sin! . While the work of the Holy Spirit is full of true righteousness found nowhere else. The law brings guilt, fear and bondage of sin. While the Spirit brings joy peace goodness kindness meekness long suffering. Oh my cup overfloweth.

For Israelites, under the OT. They were, are, will be, until after the millennium, the people of God, but of this old, present earth economy. This earth was created in 6 days, and God rested after its creation on the seventh, Sabbath day. All of this pertains to this present world, its system, and Jerusalem which now is.
Christians are not of this world, though we are in it. We are already citizens of the new creation. Behold, all things have become new. Our "mother" is New Jerusalem. The new creation order is symbolized by the eighth, eternal day, which is on Sunday. It is no accident that Christians enjoy assembling together on Sunday, the eighth day, the day Jesus rose from the dead on, which symbolizes the new, everlasting eternal day.
Distinctions are ever so important in the Bible. To understand that different groups of God's people have different standings and purposes to carry out, not unlike God's Angel's, who also have different standings and purposes before God.
The Church is the bride of Christ. John The Baptist very clearly called himself the friend of the groom, not the bride. He was of the OT, and represented the people of the OT. The Church are the children of the bride chamber, the bride!

@billclass5847 it's always been about grace.
Genesis 6:8-10 Noah, however, found grace in the eyes of the LORD. This is the account of Noah. Noah was
👉a righteous man,👈 blameless in his generation; Noah walked with God. And Noah had three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
Walking with God is a way of saying... kept God's commandments. Which is how Noah knew what animals were clean and unclean.
Habbakuk 2:4 Look at the proud one; his soul is not upright but the righteous will live by faith
Deuteronomy 6:25 25And if we are careful to observe every one of these commandments before the LORD our God, as He has commanded us, then that 👉will be👈 our righteousness.”
Malachi 3:6 “Because I, the LORD, do not change.
Hebrews 4:1-2 Therefore, while the promise of entering His rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be deemed to have fallen short of it. For we also received the good news
👉just as they did;👈 but the message they heard was of no value to them, since they did not share the faith of those who comprehended it.
Hebrews 4:6 Since, then, it remains for some to enter His rest, and since those who formerly heard the good news did not enter because of their
👉disobedience,👈 God again designated a certain day as “Today,” when a long time later He spoke through David as was just stated: “Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.

@@JustinCase010q Why is Hebrews promising "Rest" when THEY (THE JEWS) had been keeping the Sabbath for 1500 years??? Obviously the Saturday day rest had completely failed to deliver the Jews true rest. Matthew 11:28 Christ said:
"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and *I will give you rest."* No Jew could hear or read these words without immediately understanding that the Jewish people were once in Egypt and set free from Egypt to find "rest" in the wilderness from all their labors which they had done in slavery. Yet, these Jews were not in Egypt that heard these words but were in Jerusalem.
The weekly Sabbath was tied to the redemption of the children of Israel from the bondage of Slavery in Egypt. Likewise, the redemption of both Jew and Gentile and the entire world is tied to the redemption of all mankind from the slavery of the law of sin and death under the old covenant by the death and resurrection of Christ upon the first day of the week. These words from Christ could not be clearer. Just as the Israelites were given rest from the bondage of slavery in Egypt, Christ is now offering those under the law rest from the bondage of *"the ministration of sin, condemnation and death"* (2Cor. 3:6-9) and freedom from the wages of sin. *Thus, Hebrews 4:8 explicitly says, that "Jesus spoke of another day" as the day of rest.* And, *the point is that if Sabbath keeping have given the Jews Rest, Jesus would not have spoken of a different day when they would find rest.*
I’m a Christian, why do you abuse Christ to preach Moses to me??

On the marriage issue, does the original Greek for abandonment open it up to these other things besides physically leaving? Also, the text says if the unbeliever leaves. But there are supposed Christians who leave their spouses. Do we just then assume they are unbelievers? I've always been a bit confused on that specific point. You also don't want to open it up to, "He / she abandoned me by not meeting my EVERY need and whim!" That's baloney, and everyone knows it.
Before the usual jumping down my throat, no, I am not saying anyone is biblically commanded to stay with some violent person. (Whether women or men. Men get abused too.) Just trying to get clarity. And wondering why women marry these godless men in the first place. But that's another topic. People will shriek at me about that too.

I have a question. Say a guy has kids with a girl and lives with her (before he found and understood about Christ) but then breaks up with her and starts a new relationship with a different girl. He moves in with the girl and lives with her for quite some time and then he and her really find Jesus (both of them) and have faith. Is it ok for them to get married and have children? Or will there union be unacceptable and there child be born in sin? Is it a poisonous relationship because you already had kids with and lived with someone else before? or is it your first true marriage because its the first time you're taking your vows (and as a saved man now). I would think so because you're past is the past but I just don't know and ive heard people say its still living in sin

Paul also talked about the law as the 'ministry of death'. If we are in Christ there is no law. Outside of Christ we stand alone and will be judged by the law. Once saved our eyes should be on Christ, not on the law. We are to walk in the Spirit.
The law is only irrelevant for someone born again in Jesus Christ. The fruits of the Spirit are how a believer can be judged. The fruits of the Spirit are also given in Galatians.
For anyone who is seeking to know God then yes you are sinner, everyone is. However, once you really understand that Jesus died because of and for you and your sin; then the law has done it's work.
In Galatians Paul says the the bondwoman will not inherit with the free. It is not the law and Jesus. It's Christ alone.

It is a ministry of death because we break the law. The law brings life and death , blessing and curse (deut 30:19). Life if you obey and death if you disobey. Blessings you obey and curses if you disobey. Jesus took out curse and gave us his spirit so that we could obey his law, Paul calls this walking in the spirit (Rom 8:2-10). If we do not have the spirit we are hostile to Gods law.
We were saved by faith unto good works. Those good works are the very law that we could not keep apart from the spirit. The Bible does not say that we are judged by the fruit of the spirit. Judged but he fruit of the spirit?? Please chapter and verse for where it says we are judged by the fruit of the spirit. Judged by Gods righteous standard which is the law. See Romans 2:12 and James 2:13. Then go to Romans 2:13 and consider that verse as well. Thanks.

and you will still die therefore the law and its ministry remains to this day....if there is no law then there is also no sin, so do not accuse others of violation of something you say is invalid
Read Psalm 119 for a better understanding of the teachings and instruction of our creator (aka the law)

@@laurashirley5919 Very Good, would you say the law is good for moral boundary setting. But focusing on these boundaries servers no one. Focus on Christ and these boundaries are fulfilled by Christ in us. Just testing my understanding, are we still in agreement.

Gad has never been shown to be true or real. At least not by using credible evidence.

Did this all come from nothing? Has anything ever come from nothing. God is the uncaused cause

@@sometimesismile You offer no credible evidence my friend. Why do you think gad is real? What evidence can you show? Good luck.

“The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities-his eternal power and divine nature-have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.”
      Roman’s 1:18-20
The intricacies of His creation is evidence to me.
The laws God put into place for the good of His creation long before they were confirmed by modern science. That’s physical proof that has helped me believe.
