I’m with you…long form content is going to be where the money is. I have asked people if they have seen sales thru their short vids and most have told me that they make some money randomly but nothing noticeable. So it made it clear to me that people are not investing in you unless they feel invested in you and short clips don’t really help with that and with all the work short form clips take for viral effect is exhausting.

@@NakishaWynn I have watched people get these different clips just for 15-60 seconds just to get followers and those followers don't buy into their stuff...so I'm not convinced that gaining a bunch of followers via shorts is it...can it get eyes on you...yes...though it seems the ratio is close to being that if you get 10k views from shorts...and only get 100 subs...but 1 or none of them bought anything in 30 days...it ain't worth all the work for coins for clicks...And it seems because most of them who watched it are from a certain age bracket where majority of them don't even have a card to make purchases...
I'm not saying don't do short form...I'm only saying...don't completely rely on it for real income...UNLESS you're selling products in them...because 10% of people who catch those videos and watch them are most likely potential buyers...so 1 outta every 10 will check you out and make a purchase. And this is from my research for the last 87 days while shopping season is high. So if you have 2000 views off product shorts...you potentially have 200 customers that checked you out from your video and are interested in buying...hopefully your site made them want to be buyers and clients. Most people lose potential sells because of their website...
Alright now…come thru!!! I’m setting my content strategy right now for the first 60 days! Let me keep watching and take notes!

Tiktok is starting to promote longer content 1 minute and longer. I’m loving Tiktok more than RUclips right now. Tiktok gets my audience to me quicker and they stick around. Also, I’ve had more brands reach out to me in the short amount of time i’ve been on Tiktok than the years i’ve been on RUclips.
It’s funny you mentioned authenticity. My other monetized RUclips channel, I script everything and read off a teleprompter. I really don’t like doing this and I don’t seem authentic. I just said last night I’m going to have talking points and then just talk about what I know. It will be more natural to me and will show my personality more.
That’s exactly what I do. It does feel more natural.
Girl I’m tryna work on this imperfection thing…being authentic and all…because soooo much content out here is super polished and I’m like where are all the regular folks out here! I get it I love beautiful things and aesthetics also but can it be attainable and most of all sustainable tho…I can’t keep up it can be way too much. Imma keep going tho!

Thanks. Gentle Caveats: (1.) Short form content is king because, sometimes, you’re still thinking about it then, it plays 2-3 more times while I’m still thinking about it, lol. (2.) That little confusion you had re IG and Twitter is a bit of a concern to me, considering the video topics. (3.) With much respect, Amazon is well-documented as highly unethical. (Billionaire Codie S*nchez has a RUclips with much info on this.) Have a great holiday🎄. Cheers.
