    Hit the nail on the head with the Qst 92 especially the slightly lean back to washout ur turn...doing that on the Qst is so much fun... I know I commented on a different video but yea QST 92 is where it's at in that width range and the price is a jaw dropper..

      Ski binding “wedge” - what is the deal with it and in what direction does it “help”?
      50yr old free skier and park “jumper” in MN - new skies in my family int the last two years… me, enforcer 88 UNLIMITED, atomic bent - My 13 yr old daughter (park rider) has Santa Ana 88 (2025), line pandora 84 and some fisher el-cheapo’s (first ski)- 21 yr old daughter has 84 wild belle’s…. And I have some older skis too.
      Three of these skis have atomic demo bindings and have wedge built in, I was considering building some riser plates to level them out but….

    Dude, great site full of info (I bought QST 98s on your recco). BUT: It's Lay-Zoosh and Ar-gen-tair.

    7:45 - I'm going out on a limb here, and I'd suggest the K2 Reckoner 92. This is due to the age of the person, asking for a lighter ski that's more flexible, and the person's relatively light weight as well, and a ski that will go everywhere. I wouldn't get them for me, but I'm a few years younger and about 190 pounds.

    Tyrolia has some new binding equipment coming out next year it will make all boots sole lengths have the same binding height Delta. Pretty interesting

    Not only should you buy a MIPS helmet, you need the helmet to fit good with the goggles. Some goggle/helmet fits are no good.

    • @RicketySkiReviews
      @RicketySkiReviews  Месяц назад

      Yeah I have found POC on POC almost always works for me luckily, I do the mips and mulit impact especially when going through brush or taking little tumbles in the woods

  • @darinsmith2458
    @darinsmith2458 2 месяца назад

    I am still weird with my helmet.. I actually need my goggles to hold my helmet up.. My goggles have a different radius than my helmet.. I would say to try to get the helmet and goggles together and since you said POC makes both my guess is that they fit together well..

    I believe that governments in Europe subsidize ski resorts which significantly keeps the prices lower.

      I know they subsidize some of the bakeries as well IIRC

      no, they are not. the resort infrastructure owners are less greedy in EU

      Lift prices are lower in Europe because there are so many ski areas, which means increased competion for skiers. What better way to attract skiers than to keep the cost of a lift ticket affordable.

    I went from 90 Flex to 140 on my new 2021 K2 Recons. I figured I'll grow into them but was having my doubts not making it even 3 hrs Day 1. Gotten lots better since Day 1 but wish I'd have broke them in at home like you first!

    Bruce: I find that the 2023 Kore 93 a tad shorter than I am used to better in the crud then the 2024 Maverick 95 at regular length. I own both and find I struggle more on the Mavs. Both are VERY light compared to my heavier Mindbenders and Mantra 6s which are truly great in the crud. Hope that helps.

      I HAD a pair of 2022/23 Kore 93 184 length I was really enjoying them until I lost 1 in deep pow 12-9-22 my 1st day out that yr. I'll buy other pair if I can find below $300.
