It’s cool how Clint can pretty much call out what size wrench fits just about anything they are working on. That’s just good ole experience.
This one brings back some memories.
I worked on a 1958 TD 14-2 back in diesel school. It came in for an LOF and check the brakes. I ended up rebuilding the brakes, final drives, repairing levers, pins, and every time the owner came in he added to the list. I guess he liked my work because he wouldn't let anyone else work on it.
I learned so much working on that machine.🤙
That was the best damn explanation of the service on a td 15 c I’ve ever seen. it’s nice to see someone that actually knows what they’re talking about.
Great Video! I have a 1973 TD 15C not nearly as good a shape as that one. Never knew that was a grease port for the rocker shaft.. And the steering and brake adjustment. Very helpful.
Glad it helped
Glad to see the detail in the service of the units you have coming up for sale. My son and I are watching this video he is 16 and loves to turn wrenches. Good to see you are passing on your knowledge to Skylar and all of us!
I had a TD 15 c later model like you. serviced. Loved it, I also had Cat D6d and the 15 would out push it with the two speed steering. Great tractor, ahead of its time with steering system, only problem was parts. Loved it!! Also loved D6d which was s bit more robust but heavier. Got stuck in mud much easier.

AWESOME video my man! Yes, keep these videos coming. They will do nothing but build your brand, and show that you have a legit and professional shop! Great Job. You are a encylopedia of dozer information!!
Thanks
Thanks for the great information and little tricks to service this crawler!!!I have a TD15 B,very similar .
Always enjoy these. Only equipment I ever ran was Cat It loaders, Waldon loadeds, etc. Still very interesting to see how things work and are serviced. Seems PM is the key to making any equipment last.
Great video, details and explanation
Thanks
Friend had a td-14a i did a little field service with. Nice.
Love the videos and more so it does my heart good to see your boys out there with you doing what you do that's what is needed more in the country keep up the great work. I found your videos thru Dirt Perfect.
Your attention to detail is why your equipment sells. I've learned a lot from this video. Great videos. Keep it up.
Thanks
Keep the videos going .do enjoy
Thanks
New to the channel, Saw you mentioned on the DirtPerect project. I like the channel so far but why don't you give that kid some work uniforms! The poor kid is working in shorts and an old T-shirt! It makes your company look more professional if everyone is wearing work duds! JMHO. Keep up the good work!
Yes indeed very good video thank guys
Thanks for watching
International TD series…..Yep
Can you share a link, I’m looking for the two idler wheels on the one I have.
Estoy en ecuador tengo un traCtor td 15 international como puedo contactarme con usted tengo muchas preguntas
It needs some paint
Funny but not funny. My maxforce dt466 the last variant of the dt466 made had the damn fuel hand primer leak. Couldn’t figure why the damn thing wouldn’t start but the primer was letting air into the fuel system😅 not a good day then navistar refuses to sell the o rings and forces you to buy the entire assembly. She’s a good truck but can be finicky lol
What an old beauty!
Your depth of knowledge on all these different machines is impressive. That’s what I like about your auction videos with your dad. You guys know what to look for on all the different dozers and how to check
Thank you very much!
It's pleasure watching you teach your son , keeping him occupied, head down right path. Sharping his brain and thoughts. Well done Clint.
. What I like about your videos is the commentary is very informative. I was an operator and mechanic for 20 years. I'm 70 years old but still like equipment videos of all kinds.
Like that you guys work on array of different kinds of equipment, even this IH dozer. Did this dozer come over with Columbus?! LoL 😂 Nina, Pinta, Santa Marie!
Do you guys reference NAPA as crapa? Shop banter! They do carry a lot of parts for equipment and vehicles.
Lol you showing your age there fella. You said you remember one as a kid. Just remember 1981 was 40 years ago.
Thank you for making this video. You are very good at explaining things! I have the same machine and I learned a lot. 💪
Hey Guys love your videos but your talking volume is low and your music volume is way to load.
We got it figured out now
Clint i see this dozer and its dirty i know it is a year ago but i have not seen a dozer that dirty in your shop where is Randy ? And the boosters for steering are down right cool and the breather on top of the hydraulic tank very nice too know i bet a lot of people forget about it and this dozer with 1600hrs looks and sounds really good going to make someone a good dozer 😎🇺🇸👍NY
Very cool, this older stuff is real interesting and made back when you could work on them.
Awesome seeing Skylar getting to learn not only the business but working on antiques!
Thanks for the video love the explanations of everything Have you ever tried Kroil The guy on Diesel Creek rehabs dozers and such that has set outside for years I seen it loosen stuff torches wouldn't with only a couple sprays Check it out hope that helps you
We actually had a viewer send us some
We will try it out
Having trouble setting my brakes on TD20 series B
Every vedio your knowledge and skill come through. It is so interestiong to watch and understand.
I am currently trying to get one of these from a friend of mine. I just talked him into buying a D7F so his TD15C is available. Has had trans rebuild and operates good. I think that the injection system could use some tlc but I can get it pretty reasonable, I think. This video has been very helpful for me, to say the least. Thanks for this video and I’ll keep you posted!👍
Thanks
Another excellent video but please no music
Dt466, I think, is the best sounding engine ever
And I like it again cool video 👍😎🇺🇸NY
Good to see when you get a piece of equipment in you go all over it completely change filters and fluids make adjustments and it's ready to go to work when sold thanks for the video
Thanks for watching
i have a 1953 404 IH farm all ih least yr motor job the guy i haed to do motor job he said the caps were beefer caps .
People talk shit about Harvester products and I can't tell you how many videos I've seen of someone changing filters on a 30 or more year old machine to find genuine IH filters.IH hasn't made a tractor or bulldozer in 40 years.Apparently people gave 2 fucks for maintenance back then.
Yea
But we still have some nos filters on the shelf for these also
This was a really interesting video I love how they made it so serviceable I never ran a International but heard they were a good tractor My buddy had one for his business
They sure did
I worked for Berry Tractor withita kans . Whin those tractors came out. Bill janzen
Cool
after oil chg what would u get for that dozer
Nice to know how knowledgeable you are , makes it easier to want to buy from you ... not just a paint and sell place
Thanks
I have grown up around this stuff and like doing it
The ole girl need a dress of paint and do her nails 😃
Love this older stuff ❤
Another outstanding job enjoyed every minute !!
Should last for years with all the love been put into it bro, I am amazed at your vast knowledge of anything mechanical. Safe travels
what do you clane the fitler out with
y do it have rast on the in side of hd tank
I like the to see the work being done so I can learn all of the details involved with the job.😅
Thanks for watching
I like to see the finished product do you usually Steam clean them before back to the customer also there no rain cap on the exhaust
Check out our other channel
Ccsurplus sale videos and search back a few months and you will see the finished product!
I have a dresser 175c turns right but when turn left it just stops
could have a final drive issue
Boy does it need a Paint job
After doing a service like this do I need to bleed the air out of the hydraulic system?
I have a Cat 963 that busted a line to a lift cylinder so I replaced the line and hydraulic filters since almost all the oil ran out. After changing the line and both filters & filling up with fluid I can't get the lift cylinders to work. The tractor runs and moves in gear but the bucket won't lift or tilt.
At a loss
Normally they bleed the air out on there own
Make sure your suction screen for hydraulic pump is clean and clear
Maybe try pressuring the Hyd tank with some shop air to help it pick up prime
Excellent video, great detail on theory and function.
One suggestion review the video with headsets on and I don't think the audio will go from comfortable to extreme, LOL.
Your young mechanic is really gaining some valuable knowledge.
Add a little more of intro so we know who you are, we know your helper, but not you.
See one of Captain Kleeman's videos he does an excellent job introducing the videos.
Thanks for sharing and keeping the older stuff going!
Thanks for the info
We are new to this RUclips thing and still learning
Thanks
Great video, I would love to see more on TD-9. This would help me with mine. Turbo video ,and adjusting gass starting system video.
I did a bunch of clearing with one of these in 1980. I thought they were a good tractor. Good video.
they were
I put thousands of hour on one also!
My dad had a brand new TD20c when we went mining in Alaska in 1972 and we also started having problems with the cross shaft on it, it broke the end off and we replaced it with a new shaft which eventually broke as well then we cut the shaft in two, made some thick gussets to go over the shafts and welded them solid to the frame so the bearing surface could still pivot on the track frame but without putting so much strain on the shaft. it worked good for a while, eventually the end of the shaft sheared off.
I wish I owned a 15 and its sister a 175
Good machines
I operated a Tractor sales, repair and restoration shop for 11 years, Mostly AG tractors, I really wanted to do what you do, I am a Crawler tractor man, Cat, International, JD I like and have operated them all.
Awesome video Clint.
Thanks
Awesome vid Mr. Clinton goes to show that you have tons of knowledge to do any form of work on trucks and heavy equipment. You sure know your poop. Lol
Wealth of knowledge right here, man just think of even more stuff you will accumulate and know when you get older!!!! haha
i hope it gets sandblasted and the army green treatment or the Drott orange / IHC red -maybe a clear coat on top of that -would look like a Bentley thereafter
0:38 wow that thing got almost no paint at all on it ... was it in a forrest fire or maybe a concrete dust ritch enviroment ? sandstorms in some desert or UV radiation burned it all off ?
I enjoyed watching this build. Guess we will see you at Dirt Perfect’s place.
Heh... I run a brother to that frame. IH 175C.
Yep
Spent many hours running one of those also
@@C_CEQUIPMENT I love that machine!
Great content. My minor complaints is the music's too loud and you repeat yourself too much.
Love your videos!! You have such a vast understanding of the equipment you service.
love the work you are doing keep the videos coming
Thanks
Great video, look forward to more. Thanks.
Really like the IH video, would love to see more.
Cc, much enjoy yur channel of heavy equipment maintenance. Your knowledge of dozers, excavators, skidsteers, military trucks etc is impressive. Also thanks for taking us along on your Florida auction hvy equip examination of used...sometimes over used/rusty dusty, loosy-goosy worn linkages & high hour units. Love yur shop, very well equipped to service, repair, clean & paint. Yup, if people need used hvy equipment that has been well examined & serviced/repaired to best practice standards, your shop is the place to buy. Thanks for telling all us armchair viewers how maintenance is done correctly. Stay safe!👍👍👍👍🛠🧑🔧🍺
Thanks
Cool vintage tractor love to see her all done up.👍keep up these great video Clint love them I been watching your channel from when Dp got his 850 j from you the first time .glad he told us about your channel ✌️👌😎👍🇺🇲
Thanks
That old International dozer is really low time, you don't see them very often that are not worn out. I would be interested in knowing what a dozer like that will bring on todays market? I enjoy watching all your videos because you do good mechanic work and don't cut corners on your rebuilds. If you started running one of these old Row Binder dozers when you were 12 years old, you've been at it a while. Thanks for showing the maintenance tips on video.
Yep
I think this brought around 40 when we were done
Can watch this stuff all day and listen to the knowledge. Be nice to see degreasing cleaning and painting to complete the picture. Cheers
Thanks
Final drive for the td15 should be 30 weight oil factory specs or caterpillar 50 weight pivot shaft 30 weight depending on how old the engine is either 15/40 or 30 . in my youth l ran an * on site service lube truck * at a Komatsu dealership International yellow & the basket case International green medium-duty we bought out buy Komatsu
Factory lube chart says 85/140 gear oil in finals

Great content
New sub here. Is that your son working with you? Nice that a young man wants to learn the trade.
Thanks for subscribing. No its not my son, but I do have two sons who help during the summer!
Where did you go to school for the stuff not to be nosy .I know you grew up with it but your knowledge is really enjoyable. My chief babysitter is in your category.Disabled country boy thank you.
All I did was high school and a couple years during high school of machine shop
My dad had an excavating company till about 2012 and we always ran older stuff but kept it in great shape. I learned allot from him and others that worked for him. I think learning things at a young age before your out of high school is key. It worry’s me with the kids now days not picking any skills up when they are young. It’s harder to teach them later in life.
If you watch some newer videos I have my two sons helping also
@@C_CEQUIPMENT Thank you for taking time to reply.
You’re doing a great job with those boys of yours. God bless
Wasn't that originally branded as a Dresser though? Those hoop light mounts are original on Dressers, I thought?
This one was a 1980 or so making it IH
Dresser didn’t but them till 1986 or so
@@C_CEQUIPMENT ah, ok.
I like the education you give on machinery. Love the channel.
Thanks
Wow what a great video thank guys
Thanks
Be a neat dozer to see repainted. Thank you for sharing

Those types of coolant filters are for wet sleeves?
They can be used on any type of diesel. I always liked them you don’t see them anymore. They really help with electrolysis issues on the liners
Thanks, I learned something new today.
I believe you mean cavitation.
One of my favorite Dozier
