- I combined 9 Pokémon games into one Nuzlocke, with one of the most insane Elite 4 runs that you may ever see.

Notes on the run:
- Some games had their levels scaled to appropriately line up with the pacing of the challenge. For example, Pryce in Soul Silver had a lower level than Byron in Platinum, so I increased the levels in Soul Silver by a certain percentage across the entire game so the level caps made sense.
- I only grabbed encounters that were on my way to the next gym. Minimal backtracking for the sake of encounters allowed.
- The shiny Pokémon were a channel point redemption on stream to make a Pokémon of choice shiny. None of them were legit.
- In order to set up this challenge, I had to play through every game to get a save state at each point I was transferring over to.
- I used a program that allowed me to edit and save Pokémon sets, items, etc. to load them into another game. This is how I transferred.
- I used an online tool to edit the E4 teams, and create a patch for BW2.

Maybe the same challenge, but each gym is one generation of Pokémon games, continue the team as you did, but use more variety. You’re doing a full Pokémon Nuzlocke in one.

I'm legitimately curious how this dude was able to do something like this, like how was he able to transfer his teams between games at certain points in their respective stories. An impressive and creative feat for a Nuzloke nonetheless, bravo.
Thanks for watching! During set up, I had to play through every game up until the point I was going to transfer over to, and when it was time, I have a program that lets me edit save files, and it was as simple as dragging my mons from one save file to another.

just a note that one battle in johto after gym 2 is in fact not optional as that is where you go after beating bugsy but i guess in the context of this video it is
Yeah you’re 100% right. You get access to it after the well but I didn’t need to fight it before the gym. Little extra EXP never hurt anyone

I would love to see you do a nuzelocke with Pokémon mmo. That’s what I initially thought it was going to be. It’s the first 5 gens with updated graphics and linked Pokémon.

Thank you! I have a program that can edit save files and copy Pokémon data over. As far as each game goes, I had to play each game to the point I wanted to jump to during set up, so that took a while.

How did you combine the 9 games? Also how did you edit the elite 4?
I played the games one at a time up until when I was switching over. I then had a program that let me edit save data so I just copied my pokemon and items over from game to game. To edit the E4 I used an online tool called PokeWeb that lets you edit gen 5 roms and make a patch

how exactly did you do it?
I needed to play through every game up to the point I was switching over to just for setting it up. Then I had a software that allowed me to copy Pokemon info, and transfer it into the new games along with my items etc. (if you do it, make sure your trainer ID matches every game or else your pokemon might not obey you sometimes)

@@mertensiam3384 yeah I had a channel point reward on stream to make a pokemon shiny of a viewer’s choice. I just used the software I used to transfer Pokemon to make it shiny. Purely for esthetic, not legit at all

6:40, tentecrule is a water poison type, so HOW did earthquake (a ground type move) BE SUPER AFFECTIVE when it is no super affective to water or poison, someone explain this to me, please
Ground is super effective against Poison I just forgot Tenta was poison and just wanted it’s water typing to get the KO

how did you customize the elite four?
Look up PokeWeb. Allows you to create Gen 5 patches with a pretty easy to use trainer editor. I just couldn't figure out the trainer/overworld sprites/names. So I just changed the teams.
Okay, I understand (from the various comments) how you transfer your mons and items, as well as the location of the next game to continue. But I'm sure you can't have the E4 lineup match the champions without hacking the ROM.
Yup there’s an online tool you can use to edit trainer teams, so I just made a quick patch using that 👍

When I was setting this challenge up, I had to play through every game up to the gym I was switching over to. Took a lot of time but it worked haha

The games take 2 years before BW2, and I guess they wanted some difference from Dryden in Black 1

Yeah Opelucid City looks completely different in both versions so I guess they wanted different Gym Leaders to go with it

Idk if I am able to officially do one. But if I were to hypothetically tell you to download a program called PKHex and then hypothetically rename it to PKHax which would hypothetically allow you to edit Mon data and copy them so you can put them in save files from other games, then that is how I would hypothetically do it.

Harder to play on stream, don't have the correct capture card/emulator for it. Also the final few splits seemed the most fun to me.
