Christine Ebersole MUST win a Tony for "Grey Gardens." She is MAGICAL in this show. However, I do encourage anyone who hasn't seen it yet to see the documentary that this show is based on before going. It will significantly enhance your appreciation of the briliance of Ebersole's performance.
She was indeed beautiful and had so much style. She made rags look wonderful. Christine should have, at least, warn Little Eddie's signature headscarf for the performance. She did a great job on the show, though. Her impressions were dead on. Watch the Tony performance if you haven't
I think I'd be a little uncomfortable if someone introduced me as their "best friend" on national TV !! I think Ebersole was probably thinking 'oh give it a rest Rosie'
Thank you for posting this! I suspect the show closed too quickly because tourism is down in NYC. Nobody has money for travel & theater tickets right now.
its a shame this got cancelled.. with the hbo movie coming out im sure this wouldve been very good for the play.. they shouldve coincided it somehow.. maybye it will come back.. im sure it will

Ms. Ebersole is quite simply..... STUNNING! And I've got tickets to see her in concert next April here in L.A.!!!!!
