1984 at work and Sade comes on the radio for the first time and EVERYONE stops to listen. It was an incredible moment hearing that voice for the first time.
I remember that too and forty years later I'm still loving hearing any music by Sade. No one has ever matched her. She's elite in a class all her own.

The entire band is so phenomenal!! If I had known that it would be 12 years and counting since the Soldier of Love tour, I'd have made damn sure that I saw that tour. She is #1 on my Concert Bucket list (at Red Rock would be a 2-fer!) and I'm afraid she may never tour again, but some rumors of a new album this year. 🤞I WILL see her next tour come hell or high water!💯

Glad you chose this song and this particular video! One of my favorites from Sade. Classy, beautiful, elegant but she is relaxed and having fun with the groove. She is always impeccable no matter what. This is what a real grown up, brilliant, talented artist looks and sounds like!

I have wanted you to listen to this one, and it crossed my mind to recommend it _just today_ , and here it is. It's like "British Invasion Friday", what with you doing Chris Rea and now Sade. This track just grooves with that drum and bass line, and of course Ms. Helen Folasade Adu's vocals.

Amber & Jay, Sade is bad ass n I got to go her concert in O-town a couple of years ago with my fam n let me tell that it was an awesome time n she does not do to many concerts. I think she does a concert every ten years. She played this song n the crowd went crazy. She's a beautiful woman n fine too. She put this white dress n she was outstanding. N let me tell u something, I have to give her band a lot of credit. The guitar, the drums, the bass, the horns, the piano n all the rest of the instruments they R on key with the music. They had a background that kept changing around. If there is another Sade concert, U guys have to go. U guys will not be disappointed.

I got the chance to meet her the same year their first album debuted in Palma Spain when I was in the Navy. Jay you are never going to hear anything really fast from her because she sings jazz. You might get a slightly faster tempo, but that's about it. I can't wait till you guys break into the rest of her stuff with her band. Sade is actually the name of her band which is from her middle name, Helen Folasade Adu. Every musician is top-notch. The reason she plays off of them so well is that she gets her on stage strength from them. She said in an interview that she suffers from stage fright, but you wouldn't see it. I think she carries herself very well. I think when she gets into the song it all disappears. She's just fantastic. I would love to meet her again to see if she remembers Palma Spain.
