Please can you name some of the schools that offer free accommodation and feeding for students? Furthermore can you mention some Universities of applied sciences that will be open in the autumn joint application that offer Bachelor of nursing program. So far only Metropolia UAS is available.
Please if I can get the proof of funds from a loan company that comes with an interest fee and monthly repayment plan. What documents do I need to show them at the embassy?
They have several different kinds of entry admissions. There are 158 study program admissions ongoing in UASes and about 40 starting within a month. 😅 You need to be more specific about what kind of study programs you are asking about. Just mentioning UAS admissions is a too wide selection to be useful for you.
@@olawumiolorunkoya Are you aware that there is the official website studyinfo fi , which has a search functionality enabling you to find all study programs in higher education and filter results for example by the field of study?
@@olawumiolorunkoya IELTS is just one of the commonly accepted language tests. And test results are just one way to show sufficient language skills while applying to higher education. But if IELTS is used, it's the Academic test, which is used in higher education study program admissions.
@@Mizchinny_ Sometimes it's worth reminding people that there are actually two fairly different possible roles people call sponsors. 1) A sponsor is a person who is living in Finland or has applied for a residence permit and collecting family members. This kind of sponsor terminology is used in the residence permit based on family ties - process. 2) A sponsor is a person or organisation, which gives funds for some purpose e.g. to a student for supporting herself during her studies.
@@emo3443 If you're staying in Finland, or the Schengen area, for no more than 90 days in each 180 day period, then visa is a visiting permit, which will enable you to do it. If you need to stay longer, you need a residence permit. If the delivery of the residence permit card to you takes uncomfortably long time and getting a visa attached to your passport in a Finnish embassy is faster and more convenience for you, applying for a residency permit AND D visa is a useful option. You can then get the residence permit card delivered to you in Finland and enter Finland with the D visa. It's a way to arrange moving faster in some situations, where waiting for the card to be delivered can have unfortunate consequences. Otherwise it's just an additional cost and unnecessary complexity to have a visa and a residence permit. If you are a citizen of an European union (EU) member state, a Nordic country, Liechtenstein or Switzerland, you do not need a residence permit to stay in Finland. To register your right of residence, apply for EU registration if: you are a citizen of an EU Member State, Liechtenstein or Switzerland; and you will stay in Finland for longer than 3 months without interruption. You do not need to register your right of residence if you are staying in Finland for 3 months or less at a time. The calculation of the 3-month residence always restarts from the moment when you return to Finland after travelling outside its borders. When you reside in Finland, you must have a valid passport or identity card. If you are a Nordic citizen (citizen of Denmark, Iceland, Norway or Sweden), it is sufficient for you to register your personal data at the Digital and Population Data Services Agency. Nordic citizens do not need to apply for EU registration at the Finnish Immigration Service.
@@emo3443 It's all explained in the Finnish Immigration Service website, Migri. Look up the page explaining: Residence permit application for studies. It will also mention when a visa is all you need, or when a D visa in addition to a residence permit for studies can become useful.
Just like everywhere else there are open job positions but also many people are unemployed and looking for employment. In some fields there is a chronic shortage of qualified workforce. For an unqualified person finding employment is of course more difficult. Not having required language skills is a major barrier for new foreign language immigrants. Learning languages takes time and perseverance. Finland has suffered from slow economic development and even downturn for some time. Economic growth is expected to start next year or at the end of this year. Construction industry has been especially hard hit. This has an big effect on employment statistics.
