Hey mate looks awesome, I know it’s probably a bit late now but I would probably recommend pushing the shock mount forward on the housing, looks like through most of the uptravel the shock goes digressive which isn’t ideal Other than that nice work 👌🏻
Fair enough. Problem is we had space issues with steering components and other things. We had to pick the best for what we had to deal with. All the ideal measurements and angles are great in theory but in practice it’s very hard to get those perfect numbers. But cheers for the feedback.
@@FavroPerformance yeah man I know how it is, you can see on my channel I sassed my Prado so I’ve been through all of it hahah I ended up making a new steering column out of an adjustable length Kluger shaft to fix that
this is sick after seeing everyone diss the owner of this car on tik tok for months about not doing it he ffinally had with coil overs what a beast. question is tho wanna do the same to my d40 navara ?
A video needs to be done on the white 4Runner in the background!! Looks so tough haha! SAS’D on 80’s diffs to? Or solid Hilux front?? I’ve got a 94 1KZ Hilux Surf SSRG that I would love to get SAS’D!! 80’s front and back diffs would be amazing, but would also settle for a solid Hilux front of alot cheaper 😅😂
because it costs sht loads..& needs engineering.. i did my bronco, myself.. common mod in u.s.. tacoma,s , fj cruisers, ect. offroad hub, did his in his garage, couldnt weld. learned how to.. dana 60,s in an fj cruiser..
Drop the top of those coilovers an inch for sure as it’s just wasting shock. Protect it all with the bumps. A factory 80 bump will compress 50% at 1 ton (front of lux is 1400kg give or take so split over the two you will rarely fully compress unless jumping). No point having the sump as the first thing that hits with an inch and a half left of shock left. Sick job though. How good is having a cnc plasma. I could not imagine not having mine now.
In my experience when the diff articulates I could potentially use up that extra bit I have left for safety. They are very expensive shocks also so I don’t want them to be damaged.
Just to echo the comment on articulation, I was concerned that 1.5” wasn’t enough and will limit the articulation then I was utterly devastated when that humongous antiroll bar went in as if radius arms aren’t enough of a limit to articulation. Shame there wasn’t a front on view of it flexed to check those clearances. Awesome job and it’s gonna be mega when it’s done.
That would all depend on the placement of the bump. If it’s directly in line or slightly further out then the shock would be safer all round. Being factory radius arms though your unlikely to use the whole 12in anyway really. Poor bushes will flog so fast. Anyway I reckon it’s rad what your doing regardless
Well 3-link was on the cards at the start of the project however we wanted to go down the better road driving route as he does a few k’s and a 80 series front end is a dream to drive. Honestly the capabilities of radius arms with decent shocks is very impressive and easily ticks all the boxes for this particular project.
Man I'm impressed with how good the axle housing looked in Fusion!
Cheers. She came out pretty good ay
I thought so too! Very impressed you were able to draw that! I have so much to learn on fusion

Mate if your keen I’m keen
Nice job, great video. Also you may need to relax with the UMM AHH UMM a bit gets a little annoying.. Just subscribed
Good feedback. I’m trying to be more comfortable on camera. It’s not my thing but I’ll work on it for sure.
Man,i wish we could get these things legal in W.A.
Nicely done, excited for next episode!

Yeah we will be doing a video on that for sure.
its on custom 80 diffs and 3 link front and 4 link back
You are the man Mitch! Nice work fellas 👌
Amazing work as usual mate!
Sassy
Which car is solid axle from??
Do you have to swap the transfer case as well?
Impressive! What axle are you putting in?
Holy need something on that 4runner there
Coming soon 🤘
Sick 👏
mate came from what unit is your transfercase?
Why aren't there more sassed n80's?
Not sure but I believe they have a lot more electronics to deal with

Will the sway bar touch the drive shaft if the car flex
Na we installed it at full droop with extra clearance. And if it needs more in the future we can install sway bar drop boxes
May I ask if that front suspension lift kit is up for sale? Great work btw guys always look forward to an upload
Is that for the ifs stuff?
@@FavroPerformance that’s correct mate
All looks very good, will it be engineered ?
Yeah it’s all getting engineered
Love this content, keep up the awesome work gents👍
Thanks! Will do!
better up great to 4 links??

Awesome content, would be great if you could get it in 1080p eventually.
I totally agree. I’m going to be purchasing the dji osmo pocket 3. If you have any feedback on it let me know
@@FavroPerformance no idea about the camera TBH.
Just on my 4k monitor 720p looks like Foxtel. lol
I swear I uploaded it in 1080 though
@@FavroPerformance I can see in spots where it gets clearer, but the player only lets me choose 720.
Might have just been when you rendered it?
need a rundown on that sassed 4runner 🥵
100% we will be doing a full assembly vid
Looking good, also busy with a sas on this same fortuner/ hilux . Also radius arms but a different approach
Heck yeahhhhh
Mate what t-case is that?
It’s out of a Prado 1KZ
Thanks mate!
would of been so much better without that garbage music
