You are truly the best part of my day! Thank you so much for the quality of your videos and love the subtitles! Really made me appreciate your accent! Much love!
I hope you make more videos, it is so cool to watch and learn about this sort of thing. Too much “fantasy” and overplayed dramas; I like to learn about history. Thank you for the videos, best wishes.
Have you ever made a 12th century crusader style Surcoat? the sleeveless ones with a riding split that are past the knees in length. I want to made one for a costume. But I'm not sure about materials and decoration. I've seen thing saying they're linen, wool or silk or some combination.
He is an inspiration to us all, we can restore our great history.
Also his work is really impressive
Looks very impressive! You deliberately did not use a sewing machine to preserve the production technology?
Its so strange to see him unarmored, armor truly makes you a steel wall of a man.

😀👍🏻👌🏻
2.7 kilograms for the final product? Wow you could get a workout just by wearing it.
Same as a modern HEMA jacket (typical one). That's a very substantial garment, and hard to poke through. I wonder if that was a typical weight.
