110 cm atlantic salmon on the fly in Gaula.

Salmon fishing in Norway can be one hell of a tough nutshell to crack. At times you believe everything you do is wrong and the "Salmon God" is against you. When you least expect it the salmon of your dreams grabs your fly and gives you one hell of a fight.
Unfortunately this beautiful creature was hooked very deeply in the gills and bleeding badly. We had no other choice than to kill it asap. Although this is very much against my own will this is what every salmon fisherman have to do in very few occasions.

Laksefiskeri kan være en hård nød at knække. Nogle gange føles det som om, at du gør alt forkert og den såkaldte "laksegud" er i mod dig. MEN når du mindst venter det er chancen der for, at laksen som kun spøger i dine drømme tager din flue og giver en vanvittigt kamp til stregen.
Desværre var denne laks kroget dybt og i gællerne så den var ikke til at redde og blev aflivet hurtigst muligt. Selvom dette er imod min egen vilje var dette den eneste rigtige beslutning og kun noget som sker i meget få tilfælde.
