Love ya’ll so much, but really disheartened to hear Laura say during the 80% and 20% convo that it’s not Tates fault but it’s the girls fault. There is so much more to trafficking and a majority of the time the girls don’t have a decision. I think a little more understanding and research needs to be done on subjects like this prior to discussing them.
Such comments are normalized and are the reason woman don't come out with their stories. People need to challenge their knee-jerk opinions/ perspective; maturing is seeing life from a larger lenses. & if the % was 20, it would still be taking advantage. What's fun about camping is it's so much simpler. It's amazing to give your brain a break and get off your phone. So it's the natural refreshment of a hike but longer! It's relaxing. You don't have to do anything but relax in nature and eat. You don't have to camp two hours into a mountain that's freezing and has scary wildlife lmao you can just go to a local campground or something on the beach! Camping on a river is sooo nice because you can rinse off your body and it is like spa water like the best water your skin feels so hydrated. It makes you feel FREEEEE AF and it's cozy to crawl in your sleeping bag in your tent. You can bring cute string lights! You get like a primal satisfaction. What's interesting is that after you're out in nature on a phone break for a few days you realize just how much anxiety you get from being on your phone and being in a city. It's wild.
I just did 2 days tent camping in the beach. I absolutely love camping
