    Hope maybe you could do a short talk on the benefits of the drain defense you mention and also how to care for pipes that are connected to municipal drains and septic tanks. Such as, does Rid-X help care for pipes connected to the municipality? Love your channel. It's great to see a lady drain specialist channel. Keep up the good work hosting these educational videos.

    You love nature, that's what spring is for.
    LOL, you imitated the doorbell in a fun way.
    Teflon tape, that's how you pronounce it in Dutch, funny.

    I usually just put pipe dope on my cleanout Shelley. When you tighten it up, it will deal all of the gaps. Good job, plus that cleanout sure did help?

    • @DrainMedic
      @DrainMedic  2 года назад +1

      The cleanout definitely does help, we don't like the dope personally because it kind of turns to like a glue after a while. (Shelly)

  • @FritzMadness
    @FritzMadness 2 года назад +1

    That clean out makes a big difference, Usually you see a glued down P-trap haha. Is that Blue teflon tape thicker for that kinda piping?

    • @DrainMedic
      @DrainMedic  2 года назад +2

      No just a better quality of Teflon tape.(Shelly)

    Hahaha my son always go the wrong way with threads too. Here's what I do, and maybe it works better for me because I'm lefty. I put my left hand over the threads and turn towards my pinky. This works even if something is in a goofy position... I know I'm going the right way.

    Always enjoy watching the videos, I always wonder if you’re going to go the wrong way at first with the threads, everyone does. One observation I wanted to let you know was I’m pretty sure you put the Teflon tape on the wrong way, just for the future, and I always watch till the end 👍👍

    • @DrainMedic

      Great question, we typically say no. That is our opinion. We always tell people never to put any harsh chemicals down the drain because of what they can do to the pipes. We only recommend them using Zep drain defense to prevent these situations. (Shelly)

    I’ve watched and liked a lot of your videos😀. My only criticism is that you guys should use a knee pad…as a service tech,myself …it hurts me to see you and bob kneeling on floors🦵🏼🦵🏼

      I agree 100% It's more being lazy and not bringing in the pad. But I would use it (Bob)
