YUP, this So Called plumber did this too me. Jammed the auger that knotted up in sewer drain line. But We Pulled it out w a tow hook strap & wrapped a bar so it wouldn't get loose & then wrapped around the pulley❣️ it can't be done w Human strength, it has to be hydrolic or mechanical strength 😉❤.

Maybe. I just had this issue with my Saniflow unit. Might be the motor control connected to the pump. Electrical item.. Switch. That micro switch with rubber boot might be failing. Sounded to me like the u it wouldn’t shut off. You can buy a new micro switch and motor control and wire it into existing pump….takes some time. This condition might reoccur. Saniflow out of Edison NJ tech support is pretty good. Most plumbers won’t have these parts on their trucks but can get them from a plumbing supply house or order from Saniflow.

Curious to know if hydrojetting would push the broken piece into the main line is another option?

The top of the piping looks like it not correct, seems like there is a 90 and needs to be two 45 or a bigger sweep. Then it should fall into a y. Call saniflow and rep will explain.

I just got a house and the spare bathroom kinda did it and is slow flushing. The master bedroom didn't have an issue. Now both are bubbling after it finishes flushing lines where flushed with 25ft snake no help. Wondering if its the vents a main line block or septic tank full. I couldn't get them to check any of those when we got it but didn't want to loose the house over it. Been here 2 months now

After working forty years in retail I completely understand your frustration and anger with stupid inconsiderate people. If you don't have a cancellation policy in place, time to establish one and let customers know when booking the call they will be charged if that happens.

Awesome video, very informative. Looking at these videos at 4 am as i had a backup last night and sewage came up through the shower drain. Had this unclogged 10 months ago and here we go again. They also pumped out the tanks at the time. The guy said that the pipe settling over the years has made it harder for the water and waste to pump away from the house. Great job though!

I hate back to back sinks. I like to make a cut on the trap arm so I can make sure my drop head goes down the San tee and clears the line. Then retrieve the cable and solder things back up with a new coupling. You did a great job though Shelly and you are very professional.. In my opinion the guy who invented back to back sinks should be arrested though. What a headache!!!!! DD in Los Angeles

Good stuff as usual! Did I hear at 2:30 that the sink is backing up into the tub? If that's the case, that's when I usually auger through the bathroom sink drain instead of the tub since the clog is down line past the bathroom sink drain tie in. It also prevents potentially messing up the p-trap if there happens to be no access and you can't see if you are dealing with an old chrome p-trap or a drum trap coming off the tub. More than one way to clear a clogged drain 🙂
