Please the video wasn't done by me. It was done by Natural Beau on Instagram. I'm only sharing her work. Meanwhile, so many people do not know how to achieve this comb coil.
@@mercyedith1383 Back then, the only product we used is Vaseline. Wash hair, apply Vaseline, comb out then twist with a fine tooth comb. My girls both have mid- back length Natural hair.
@@aye-veegraham6038 make sure you use some kind of natural oils like argan oil Jamaican castor oil for coconut oil and I use gummy wax a lot of people don't know about that wax a lot of people haven't heard of it don't know about it but they have loc twist stuff but I don't like that if I knew more about that stuff and I thought it worked I would use it to me it's all about the shine and the hold but you don't want to use too much product on the hair
Ha, that's interesting! I thought it won't work on wavy european hair because of obviously not as curly texture but it works, it makes quite decent 2c/3a waves. Thank you!
@@anjee.3261 there's always a person like you - full of hatred, racist, prejudiced against people of other races.... I just hope you will see your comment in 10 years and you'll think "my God, how stupid I was". In the meantime I wish you all the best, hence I wish you all you won't ever wish me.
I would like to think the product being used in the video for this particular style, is a foam setting lotion. That holds nice as the other mentioned in the comments.
@@gabzkie1439 you can but you got to remember that the coils may not be as thick when you have either heat damage or a perm so you will have to make sure that whoever does it knows what they're doing I actually just did three full heads three different textures and they all came out beautiful
well, usually comb coils are done when a person wanted to start their dreadlock journey. if you don't want dreadlocks, i suggest you take out/separate the comb coils before you have a bunch of new growth and your hair starts locking up. hope that helps. :)
i have 4b hair but i wear coils regularly, I moisturize them with water, leave in and some hair oil every morning and they just brush out after a week max
It aint useless. from the videos I've seen all you would need is a conditioner or curl activator of your choice because different products work for different hair. you can't just copy what she did and expect the same results .
Every Jamaican mother mastered this art because that was the way we styled our babies hairs. 😊👍🏾
No cap
Yeaaa😂
