    Tips for better comb coils:
    - for products to use, I use a twist pudding after my hair spritz, leave in and hair cream. You can use any combination of your daily products
    - comb each section before you start because it will get tangled!
    - if you're doing your hair yourself it will be harder
    - if you feel the comb getting stuck on your hair don't pull, instead take it out sideways
    I hope this helps!

      Do you think I can do this my hair is relaxed is that curl stuff like a locking gel for locs if so I have that I was trying to do the two strand twist on my hair didn't come out right though let me know can I do it on relaxed hair

    • @snowflake5921
      @snowflake5921 3 года назад

      Neda Spates if your hair is relaxed, no unfortunately. Curl enhancing products works best on curly hair. If there is no curl, it won’t hold.
      As for the locking gel, I am pretty sure the same rule applies, but I can’t say for certain.

      Keep her hair moist, use your preferred leave in conditioner and a mousse of your choice and a small teeth comb (similar to those used to lay edges). Slowly start coiling and stretching the hair. Should you have any tangles, comb them out to not tear the hair. Hope this helps dear. Have fun and happy learning 😊

    I just tried to coil my daughters hair but I couldn’t get the roots tight and the hair continued to break away from the comb. What would be your advice to keep the roots tight?

      Try using a tapered comb to twist. A tapered comb has smaller teeth at the beginning. Also a 7 inch comb can be helpful as well. Another thing you could do is use pin curl clips to hold the roots as you go, then when the hair drys the roots will be tight.
