I love how Kubo Sensei made the Bambies Vollstanding the classic magical girl transformation. Each episode gets better, better and better! Candice has no chill XD
I might be wrong but I feel that smoke cloud when Ichigo breaks through the barrier resembles his substitute badge more than a hollow mask. Also another slight cottection, after the other bambis get whipped in their extra fight and Candice gets involved, she had her holy form still active from earlier. What they added though was her following her comrades example and using sklaverai to amp herself, adding extra detail to her holy form as a result.
this was a fantastic episode everything was perfect i just hope bleach fans will still understand stuff will get cut if it gets cut oh well and if we do get to see it awesome great job by kubo for still blessing us with the TYBW arc to be animated
The Bambis fighting Ichigo was really cool, with Giselle's holy form being weird but not entirely off brand. It makes me wonder if we will see that again later, since they made it seem like it looked ridiculous but Ichigo was worried enough to break free from it before it could do damage. I do think we will get to see Bazz B break out the burner finger 3; however, I do think you're right in that we may not see Shinji there to interact. I'm a big Shinji fan so that is depressing. I did get excited to think we would get some Aizen dialog, but alas only a teaser this round. I'm ok with this 😊 all in all a good episode and hungry for more Bleach AND JJK. Super anxious for more JJK!
Before watching this episode and knowing that we will see the girls use their Holy Forms in the next episode coming up the thought of the Bambies Vollstanding being animated like the Magical Girl Transformation did across my mind and did feel like it was going to likely happen. Lol

I kinda love the more 'no bullshit' aprouch the anime currently has, yes the 4 girls is all joke, but they odd 'funny lines' of the manga wouldnt really suit a more dark style anime (like Renji nearly cutting ichigo). The only thing that kinda starts to annoy me, every fight at some point at the start, they will explain the exact power to their opponent.. not that smart isit?
That last part been part of anime since before Ninja Scroll. You must be new to anime? Believe it or not in anime characters call be funny asf and still deadly. The Bambi in this EP show what they are capable of even with their personalities.
My only problem with the episode was when candice 1st striked kenpachi and he just stands there like a statue for 3 minutes 🗿, until all his subordinates are gone. I prefer the way the manga did that scene where's he's telling his men to stop worrying about him and get out of there, it was better than him just standing there with his back turned doing nothing while everyone getting destroyed.
I think it made sense considering he was in shock from yachiru not responding to him. Up until that point, every time he called her she came immediately.
Everything this episode was absolutely perfect. I still hope the cour doesnt end without Ichigo VS Uryu additonal fight. It makes sense not to happen right at the betrayal reveal. Since Ichigo caught upto Yhwach fast, Uryu fighting Ichigo gives some time for Yhwach Jugo ect. To clear way with some extended Squad Zero battles. Then Ichigo defeats Uryu but Jugo saves Uryu for now, and then we continue with Ichigo pulling Yhwach sword and ending the season.
I also loved how in control Ichigo was for all the fights. He never lost his cool and it really showed how much more powerful he has become with his true Shikai and training at the soul palace.
Tbh he most likely could’ve done the same thing in just his Fullbring Bankai considering while he was weakened and injured he could blow off Yhwach’s Blut, his speed scales higher than his AP proportionately and his durability is relative to AP

Kubo giving Giselle, Meninas and Liltotto full Volstandig including their names makes me beyond happy, and the Getsuga Jujisho was beautifully animated.
I love the cartoon sound effect with Giselle. And when Liltotto unintentionally attacked Giselle. Not only that, the part when Meninas, Giselle, and Liltotto landing on Candice's face is one of my favorite
I literally died laughing when that happened 😂. I know some folks are going to be turned off over the cartoon sound effects. Personally I’m fine with it, cause it definitely gave me a good laugh.
I loved the added Female SternRitter fights! Plus I like the change where Mayuri explains (or the audience) about ichigo use of the Oken allowing Yawach to invade the soul king palace! I just felt it made more sense for the mad scientist to piece it together rather then Yawach basically gloating to Ichigo!
Seriously tho, the Bambis got enough screen time already. I appreciate these new scenes, but they got enough already. Cang Du and BG9 could be given these treatment. I hope Robert gets this treatment. Please.
Ichigo getting into combat with the Bambis was great and a perfect return to the main conflict for him. Them unleashing their holy forms was perfectly animated even I'd it did them no good for obvious reasons.
Depending on how much they cut, there's a chance the next few episodes could cover 6 chapters and maybe give us some extra content for the Royal Realm invasion. I'm pretty interested to see how they'll be handling this as ol boy vs ol boy is mostly dialogue of them shit talking each other.
episode 9 is named marching out the zombies, ep 10 is named marching out the zombies 2 so the next episode will adapt chapter 587,588,589,590, or it will adapt the same chapters but cut the scene with yhwach enter in the royal palace
Pace is all over the place, first they rush and cut all the things they can to get that cinema cliffhanger and then we get overblown sailor moon transformations for the Bambies. The only thing why i might be happy regarding the pace is that we move out of SS and will get more scenes with better lighting, because im not gonna lie i get tired of that weird filter. The art was pretty rough most of the time, and it wasn't thanks to the splendid animation that for the most part was also stiff. Someone on twitter comparred the two scenes of Ichigo oneshotting vice captains, to this and the old one somehow works and moves way better. Don't feel any hype, don't feel anything, manga and OG was delivering these moments, but here? 50/50 hit or miss, often miss. EDIT. Also, why they included Yhwach scene again and still not manage to explain stuff about his past? Wtf 5/10
cope harder it was a 9+/10 episode and the Past of Yuha will be included in cour 3 as only 70 chapters will remain for 26 episodes so the pacing will slow down with a lot of anime original content

Why even this scene is in episode if it doesn't reveal shit, it's a reused segment and i thought if they remove, one scene after another it's due to the time limit they brught upon themselves with such a small number of episodes. I get it they wanted to extend the ending parts because it was surely lacking, but shitting on the 3/4 of the source material to extend what might come later (we still don't know what they gonna do) is surely not a good deal.
Disappointed we lost the scene with Shinji and Bazz-B but I guess that's the price we pay for more anime exclusive scenes. Still not as disappointing as the cuts from episode 20 though.
I hope that scene with shinji and momo gets worked in somehow. Considering bazz b has only used burning finger 2 until now they could maybe have shinji come in and face his burning finger 3 a bit later. Tho the whole kenpachi talk will prob never be included sadly :/
Even Burner Finger 2 wasn't animated accurately. It's supposed to cause a massive mushroom explosion. They just made a Burner Finger 1 doubled in the anime. Each addition of a finger is supposed to change the behavior of his heat. 1: a laser. 2: raw force. 3: lava. 4: a blade. 5: Unexplored; some kind of spiral wave.

As a Femritter fan, I loved seeing them all use Vollstandig, and Ichigo STILL being so casual and unbothered does way more to show how much stronger he is now
NaNaNa took his cloak-like cape off in the manga, whereas in the anime he didn't. Also when Robert and Bazz-B prepared to attack Ichigo in the manga, they were in their base forms. Whereas in the anime, they were in their Vollstandig forms. And by extension, Bazz-B stopped Shinji, Momo and Omaeda in their tracks with Burner Finger 3 before this. And even when the Sternritters were charging at the Shinigami, Pepe was in his base form.

Ichigo pulling up like he did then appeared right behind the bambis was just iconic bruh lol. Then he honestly takes on each one and all of them at once like it's nothing. That was probably my favorite aspect of this ep. was seeing how far Ichigos powers have sky rocketed being able to take on 4 sterns with ease. I wonder how they are going to adapt urahara sending them up to the palace to intercept Yhwach.
Seeing Ichigo showcasing more of his new found powers was epic and better than the manga. However, I’m very curious to know what the actual new fight scene will be if it’s not Ichigo vs Uriyu. My guess is An onscreen fight of Byakuya and the 5 sternritters considering how we didn’t get an expanded fight of Ichigo vs 8 sternritters which would’ve been also awesome. Given the pacing of each fight I can see it happening between episodes 10 and 11. The later half of 11 being the prologue of squad 0 vs Ywach and his elites

The Bambies ain’t shit, but I honestly love them. They really made this episode fun. Their Vollständig transformations gave me Sailor Moon vibes. They said “Moon Prism Power, Make Up!” I’m also really glad they kept the scene of the rest of the Bambies landing on Candice in various ways. It was hilarious in the manga and it was hilarious in the anime. Ichigo came back and showed those girls why we call him Ichigoat! I also loved how he told Candice to dodge his attack. He’s HIM but he’s also a gentleman. 🥹
Quick question why didn't juha holy selection killed/drained ichigo and his siblings quincy powers, uryu was the only one that survived stated by juha but ichigo and his siblings aren't full blooded quincy rather their mixed and they're powers should have been taken as well.
I will forgive all the weird pacing and cut content this cour has been having as long as that means that the Royal Guard fights and the final Yhwach vs Ichigo fight get extra content and flows better than how horribly they were in the manga.
The fun part of the cut content and stuff is that the actual episode feels natural know what i mean? I’m an anime only i read tybw manga back then but not in its entirety. Somehow i’d argue this Bleach TYBW has more focus to it which is why I don’t mind the cut content. Unlike the Tokyo ghoul adaptation of Pierrot you can literally feel there are missing pieces of the story where something just happens and you don’t have a clue of how and when did it happen but for bleach, every episode feels natural
Just so many things was going on at the time. Kubo sick, being pressured by the publisher because they thought bleach was dying. I guess in a way this actually made bleach even more famous. And Tokyo Ghoul I agree. Sad how that ended.

I think it only took him, I’d say, about 20 minutes. Ichigo said if he rushed he would take half a day but that was before he decided to just jump down, speeding up the process
Honestly, I think we should refrain from making anime vs manga comparisons from here on out because clearly, radical departures and restructuring of manga chapters are on the horizon. Eventually, comparisons might become near meaningless.
I love that they are leaving some stuff out and adding new scenes. I makes the manga feel as a different point of view. Really drives up the interest on it too.
i kept telling people the pace of the Anime is really fast, too fast, evident of how much cut content from the Manga there is, but most people told me it's not true. bullshit. the Anime is almost like a speedrun of the Manga, instead of the other way around, and it's shame. high production value isn't everything, it's not a replacement for good pacing.
As hype, awesome, amazing, etc, Ichigo's return to the battle was, Squad 0 is getting more suspicious than I would ever expect, Ichibei especially. I also like how almost all the war potentials showed up in the episode, too.

This episode was really good! It was a lot of fun seeing all the additions to the Bambis vs Ichigo fight and FINALLY seeing other sternritters using their Reishi Slavery ability.. BCk in the day we used to all question why the sternritters didn’t use it so I’m glad they added that in! And my baby girl/boy Giselle using those skeletons was cool
I can understand everyone's deal with pacing but it isn't like before when Bleach was a 20 plus episode season and could take their time. Since it's shorter, there's gonna be cuts that you're nor gonna be happy with or fast pacing you won't be satisfied with. They're trying to work with they have and time they got. Can't be helped

12:30 It could also be Soul King himself manipulating whole situation. He have seen it all with All Mighty before, maybe this is the best time to do the replacement. Or it may be Ichibe, who got restless and decided he needs a better replacement, because Soul King has done a lot of changes within the worlds - his body parts being dangerous to the existence of the Soul Society and they have been affecting human world as well through the Fullbringers. Yhwach and Ichigo, probably would be easier weaker options, perfect for manipulation. Also Hell may also be in the picture. Maybe Ichibe wants to lift some of the restrictions between Hell and the Real World or quite opposite - this is the last effort to somehow minimise the damage. If this is in fact him luring Yhwach inside - it would make sense why Zero Division has fallen so quickly. But also their demise and everything up to Soul King's proper death would probably be predicted by SK all the way back.
Can you make a video about all the Quincy weapons/techniques/tools? The Reishi sword, javelin etc. Also why are the Quincy arrows so strong all of a sudden? They weren't doing that much damage during the Arrancar arc, they seemed almost useless/weak back then.
Because Uryu at the start used conventional Quincy methods passed down through tradition via Soken Ishida these are in parallel to the innovations Yhwach brought to the Quincy power system via his power to share pieces of his soul with others via bestowing shrifts upon them. This is why Yhwach invaded and killed Quincies in the past during Bazz-B's flashback they were people who refused to innovate and join the new ways of Yhwach.
im fine with cuts if it results in additional or reworked scenes, if last ep had cut the character reactions in exchange for some more new gremmy creations then there probably wont be much complaining.
I don't mind the cuts to superfluous dialogue and some scenes if it means we'll get an extended and improved battle between the Schultzstaffle and the Zero Division, that's my Number 1 hope for the anime.
How does the power scaling with dangai ichigo work here? If ichigo’s full power is awoken and he’s just as strong if not stronger than dangai ichigo, how do Rukia and byakuya sense his power upon entry?
Rukia and Byakuya especially are stronger than ever now. But Ichigo is most likely suppressing his spiritual pressure to save his stamina for Yhwach. I'm sure he could've easily have killed most of the Sternritter with his full bankai and full abilities had he really wanted to.

There were a good few friend callback moments. Ichigo standing over and saving Kenpachi, and Renji covering Ichigo so he can move his ass
They did getsuga jushisho justice, especially the new ost playing with it🔥
My favourite scene is when Ichigo sends the Bambies flaying and they all fall on Candice one by one lol

episode 9 is named marching out the zombies, ep 10 is named marching out the zombies 2 so the next episode will adapt chapter 587,588,589,590, or it will adapt the same chapters but cut the scene with yhwach enter in the royal palace
Pace is all over the place, first they rush and cut all the things they can to get that cinema cliffhanger and then we get overblown sailor moon transformations for the Bambies. The only thing why i might be happy regarding the pace is that we move out of SS and will get more scenes with better lighting, because im not gonna lie i get tired of that weird filter.
The art was pretty rough most of the time, and it wasn't thanks to the splendid animation that for the most part was also stiff. Someone on twitter comparred the two scenes of Ichigo oneshotting vice captains, to this and the old one somehow works and moves way better.
Don't feel any hype, don't feel anything, manga and OG was delivering these moments, but here? 50/50 hit or miss, often miss.
EDIT. Also, why they included Yhwach scene again and still not manage to explain stuff about his past? Wtf

Why even this scene is in episode if it doesn't reveal shit, it's a reused segment and i thought if they remove, one scene after another it's due to the time limit they brught upon themselves with such a small number of episodes.
I get it they wanted to extend the ending parts because it was surely lacking, but shitting on the 3/4 of the source material to extend what might come later (we still don't know what they gonna do) is surely not a good deal.

Disappointed we lost the scene with Shinji and Bazz-B but I guess that's the price we pay for more anime exclusive scenes. Still not as disappointing as the cuts from episode 20 though.

Even Burner Finger 2 wasn't animated accurately. It's supposed to cause a massive mushroom explosion. They just made a Burner Finger 1 doubled in the anime. Each addition of a finger is supposed to change the behavior of his heat. 1: a laser. 2: raw force. 3: lava. 4: a blade. 5: Unexplored; some kind of spiral wave.

As a Femritter fan, I loved seeing them all use Vollstandig, and Ichigo STILL being so casual and unbothered does way more to show how much stronger he is now
NaNaNa took his cloak-like cape off in the manga, whereas in the anime he didn't. Also when Robert and Bazz-B prepared to attack Ichigo in the manga, they were in their base forms. Whereas in the anime, they were in their Vollstandig forms. And by extension, Bazz-B stopped Shinji, Momo and Omaeda in their tracks with Burner Finger 3 before this. And even when the Sternritters were charging at the Shinigami, Pepe was in his base form.

Ichigo pulling up like he did then appeared right behind the bambis was just iconic bruh lol. Then he honestly takes on each one and all of them at once like it's nothing. That was probably my favorite aspect of this ep. was seeing how far Ichigos powers have sky rocketed being able to take on 4 sterns with ease. I wonder how they are going to adapt urahara sending them up to the palace to intercept Yhwach.
Seeing Ichigo showcasing more of his new found powers was epic and better than the manga. However, I’m very curious to know what the actual new fight scene will be if it’s not Ichigo vs Uriyu.
My guess is An onscreen fight of Byakuya and the 5 sternritters considering how we didn’t get an expanded fight of Ichigo vs 8 sternritters which would’ve been also awesome.
Given the pacing of each fight I can see it happening between episodes 10 and 11. The later half of 11 being the prologue of squad 0 vs Ywach and his elites

The Bambies ain’t shit, but I honestly love them. They really made this episode fun. Their Vollständig transformations gave me Sailor Moon vibes. They said “Moon Prism Power, Make Up!” I’m also really glad they kept the scene of the rest of the Bambies landing on Candice in various ways. It was hilarious in the manga and it was hilarious in the anime. Ichigo came back and showed those girls why we call him Ichigoat! I also loved how he told Candice to dodge his attack. He’s HIM but he’s also a gentleman. 🥹
Quick question why didn't juha holy selection killed/drained ichigo and his siblings quincy powers, uryu was the only one that survived stated by juha but ichigo and his siblings aren't full blooded quincy rather their mixed and they're powers should have been taken as well.
Because Uryu was trained as a Quincy while Ichigo was not. It's because Ichigo's not being trained is why his Quincy powers are not taken by Yhwach.

I will forgive all the weird pacing and cut content this cour has been having as long as that means that the Royal Guard fights and the final Yhwach vs Ichigo fight get extra content and flows better than how horribly they were in the manga.

The fun part of the cut content and stuff is that the actual episode feels natural know what i mean? I’m an anime only i read tybw manga back then but not in its entirety. Somehow i’d argue this Bleach TYBW has more focus to it which is why I don’t mind the cut content. Unlike the Tokyo ghoul adaptation of Pierrot you can literally feel there are missing pieces of the story where something just happens and you don’t have a clue of how and when did it happen but for bleach, every episode feels natural
Just so many things was going on at the time. Kubo sick, being pressured by the publisher because they thought bleach was dying.
I guess in a way this actually made bleach even more famous.

I think it only took him, I’d say, about 20 minutes. Ichigo said if he rushed he would take half a day but that was before he decided to just jump down, speeding up the process
Honestly, I think we should refrain from making anime vs manga comparisons from here on out because clearly, radical departures and restructuring of manga chapters are on the horizon. Eventually, comparisons might become near meaningless.

I love that they are leaving some stuff out and adding new scenes. I makes the manga feel as a different point of view. Really drives up the interest on it too.
i kept telling people the pace of the Anime is really fast, too fast, evident of how much cut content from the Manga there is, but most people told me it's not true. bullshit. the Anime is almost like a speedrun of the Manga, instead of the other way around, and it's shame. high production value isn't everything, it's not a replacement for good pacing.
As hype, awesome, amazing, etc, Ichigo's return to the battle was, Squad 0 is getting more suspicious than I would ever expect, Ichibei especially. I also like how almost all the war potentials showed up in the episode, too.

This episode was really good! It was a lot of fun seeing all the additions to the Bambis vs Ichigo fight and FINALLY seeing other sternritters using their Reishi Slavery ability..
BCk in the day we used to all question why the sternritters didn’t use it so I’m glad they added that in!

I can understand everyone's deal with pacing but it isn't like before when Bleach was a 20 plus episode season and could take their time. Since it's shorter, there's gonna be cuts that you're nor gonna be happy with or fast pacing you won't be satisfied with. They're trying to work with they have and time they got. Can't be helped

Or it may be Ichibe, who got restless and decided he needs a better replacement, because Soul King has done a lot of changes within the worlds - his body parts being dangerous to the existence of the Soul Society and they have been affecting human world as well through the Fullbringers. Yhwach and Ichigo, probably would be easier weaker options, perfect for manipulation.
Also Hell may also be in the picture. Maybe Ichibe wants to lift some of the restrictions between Hell and the Real World or quite opposite - this is the last effort to somehow minimise the damage.
If this is in fact him luring Yhwach inside - it would make sense why Zero Division has fallen so quickly. But also their demise and everything up to Soul King's proper death would probably be predicted by SK all the way back.

Can you make a video about all the Quincy weapons/techniques/tools? The Reishi sword, javelin etc.
Also why are the Quincy arrows so strong all of a sudden? They weren't doing that much damage during the Arrancar arc, they seemed almost useless/weak back then.
Because it was Uryu using them and he was weak
Because Uryu at the start used conventional Quincy methods passed down through tradition via Soken Ishida these are in parallel to the innovations Yhwach brought to the Quincy power system via his power to share pieces of his soul with others via bestowing shrifts upon them. This is why Yhwach invaded and killed Quincies in the past during Bazz-B's flashback they were people who refused to innovate and join the new ways of Yhwach.
im fine with cuts if it results in additional or reworked scenes, if last ep had cut the character reactions in exchange for some more new gremmy creations then there probably wont be much complaining.
I don't mind the cuts to superfluous dialogue and some scenes if it means we'll get an extended and improved battle between the Schultzstaffle and the Zero Division, that's my Number 1 hope for the anime.

Rukia and Byakuya especially are stronger than ever now. But Ichigo is most likely suppressing his spiritual pressure to save his stamina for Yhwach. I'm sure he could've easily have killed most of the Sternritter with his full bankai and full abilities had he really wanted to.
