In louisiana, the easiest way to find oysters is to look for pvc or bamboo poles. Oyster fisherman put them up to alert shrimper as to know drag their nets over their oysters.
Great features guys. I’m curious -without divulging your sources- is this info culled from verified data? I know NOAA keeps current but integration seems typical (expected) from a government agency. Same curiosity about the oyster bars. On another note, I have been submitting feedback via the Smart Fishing option, I’m still experiencing bugginess. Good luck Nick, I know you have your hands full.
Any idea of when Carolina's will get updated? I just joined and looking over my areas of coastal NC a lot of the high res, oyster bars, etc doesnt seem to work. Right now I am not getting much more benefit than Google Maps?
Hey we have the relief shading for that area covered, but Hi-res takes some time to load as it loads blocks at a time, so it's going to get better each week! Many insiders are experiencing missing hi rez blocks but within few days they get added! So stay on the look out.
It looks like y’all have not loaded south Texas. Looks like your down to Rockport area. Will you be adding the Corpus Christi area and down towards Baffin Bay?
Hellllloooo SS team! Is there a way to distinguish which areas are ideal for wading? I’m a Lifer member and am starting to familiarize myself with this AWESOME tool. I’ve relied on Hook N Line maps to find areas to wade fish (as it references multiple places where the sea bottom is ideal). Is this something that is/could be added?
I ❤️ This app, but I'm wondering how is there oyster beds here in choctawhatchee bay near Destin Florida? I'm looking at trying to fish these oyster beds. Fingers crossed.
It looks like we haven't quite loaded oyster bars for that region just yet! But stay tuned, for now we definitely still have the shaded relief in that area

Amazing!!! Great job you guys, thank you!! Must be a lot of work. Next stop South Carolina! If your coming news is better than this...can't wait!
South carolina looks real good in the Shaded relief mapping!
Can’t wait to see what you got for Georgia
This is great!! I have never seen a computer map that will let you choose oyster and sea grass layers.
Absolutely fantastic. Can't wait for it to get to SC.
Have fun!
Best thing that has came to the members in atlest 2 years

We pull this info from a handful of national services such as NOAA

We have loaded that area! Shaded relief is available in the Corpus Christi all the way down to the border!
When Mississippi coming?
Oyster beds will take some time but it already has the relief shading!

Is this available in Maryland

Any chance Virginia gets included in this?
VIrginia has marine mapping and relief shading already!

We are working on tutorial videos for that!
How do I get this on my phone?
Let’s go
Focus Louisiana!!!!
Yes! I fish in Pointe-aux-Chenes and would love to see them cover this area.
We have the shaded relief for the Louisiana area but not oyster beds quite yet!
Are you guys all oyster foragers :p?
