Great video. But....the easiest way to get them is go in the middle of the night at low tide. All that clear area behind the grassy area will look like snow flakes. The fiddlers groom themselves at night and are out of their holes. They do not run at night. Just walk and pick them up. Can get 100 in a matter of minutes. I feed mine corn meal and bottled spring water. I've had 200 since Sept. Plus I change the sand every few weeks. I keep them in my living room. No odor at all.
Are you allowed to pick them from that spot? I was out there and someone yelled as they were driving by that we weren’t supposed to be there. I can’t find any information that says you can’t.
Great video until I saw all the Philly stuff in your garage lol. I'm from Mt. Pleasant but in Philly quite a bit as my son is at U Penn. Use to live next to that flat!
I see you repping the Eagles and Phillies flags in the garage. Niiiice. 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Oh yeah!
Great video. Never realized how easy it was to catch some. Will try this soon!
Yes, sometimes it can be a lot of work but worth it in the end.
Really good info here, thanks for sharing.
Thank you for watching! 👍
Great job

That's great advice. I'll need to try that!
You can just use bottled water for moisture? Do they need saltwater?
@ArtemusXi I use saltwater because I live close to the ocean. Bottled water has certain chemicals in it that will kill the crabs.
Very informative 👏 on how to catch sheepshead candy and setup a habitat for them well done, keep them coming, Hookem to Cookem!
Thanks, it's so easy. I will show you some time.
Awesome video, where would you recommend getting brackish water from?
Any river would be good. Closer to the salt line would be ideal but not that critical. Just DO NOT use tap water or hose water.
Just around the corner from ya hello from Johns island 🏝️
Nice man! Hope you have been fishing!
Nice video thanks
Thank you for watching.
Great idea when the the local bait and tackle stores are out of those little fidllers!
Thanks, just gotta make sure you don't tear up their environment.
Great! 😀

That was probably the fella on the video who yelled at you. 🤣🤣
Very nice job explaining how to catch crabs! Only problem is holding them in your garage does it smell like low tide? Serious question not joking!
Not one bad scent yet and I've had the colony in there for 6 weeks now. Once the weather warms up though, I will break it all down until next year.
Ohh yeah..they start dying off..terrible stench

My house was built by Lennar. Maybe the same thing up there by you guys.
Awesome dude. Did this yesterday but got way dirtier than you.
Yeah I've gotten dirty a few times in the past doing it, but it's totally worth it!!!
Lexi said she will use gloves to pick hers up
Haha. They do get you from time to time!
@@SCFishTales yeah she wants to go try sheep fishing. I haven’t had the time to even crank the boat. Work has swamped me.
