There was a brief (less than 200 years) Jewish Kingdom, mostly mythical with little real evidence, which had two other kingdoms from other peoples in Holy Land nearby. Thousands of groups and cultures passed through Palestine: Egyptians, Greeks, Phoenicians, Romans, Persians, Assyrians, Turks, British, and more. And the Crusaders of course whose occupation of Jerusalem lasted 200 years.
So why would the Jewish claim rise above all the others? Why? Because their God said so? What if my God said “no”?
