Grum Reaper Renovation | Episode 1: Engine Removal!

- In this episode we begin a renovation on our 1976 Grumman P30 Stepvan, starting the process of building our ultimate furniture delivery vehicle! We kick things off by gutting out the front end and removing the existing engine and transmission. Over the next few months we will be doing a complete reno of this vehicle, including an engine swap to a 454 Big Block and a complete interior gut and rebuild.
I'm SO glad to see that the motor can come out the front. I have a '90 P-30 w/a big block an it has a fully built out interior with a bunch of cabinetry that would all hafta be demo'd out to pull the engine out the inside.

drill all solid Rivets off on radiator support frames? where motor come out ? i never seen before
what ever happened to this project? did you finish? how's it been working for your business?
I got a 1968 Kurbmaster pretty sure its the same thing. I dont know a lot about these things. 3 speed without power steering. I am having trouble finding out if I am able to and how easily it can be done to either add power steering or add an automatic transmission. The two of those things together is just a pain in the ass I am tired of dealing with day to day.
Those are cool man! We totally understand man! You'll see in future episodes that we will run into a similar issue with the 454 valve cover clearance and relocating the 4L80e cross-member.

Never had it. It was replaced with a 307 before I got the truck
