I have a 73 looking to do the same shit soon. Would help to know the fire delt with
What ever happened to relocation the gas pedal and the panel near it removed? Did that clear the vavle cover? Or is that someone else's headache now?😅
drill all solid Rivets off on radiator support frames? where motor come out ? i never seen before
Imagine making a mid engine one of these it might actually pop a wheelie
There has got to be a crazy amount of all types of particulates flooding the air that contain mold and other toxic substances while you are ripping all of this out. Please suggest to folks to wear a respirator or at least a mask and safety goggles. Thanks!
It would be helpful to know what tools you are using, what difficulties you had to address and the solutions etc. in more detail. Thanks!
Another way in is from the door, with cherry picker, but clear out transmission first. Engine in 1st, then followed with transmssion.
Oh, dear, all those grease will end up in your oil filter, or block there, cause a short cut, or oil pressure rise.
I'm SO glad to see that the motor can come out the front. I have a '90 P-30 w/a big block an it has a fully built out interior with a bunch of cabinetry that would all hafta be demo'd out to pull the engine out the inside.
what ever happened to this project? did you finish? how's it been working for your business?
What size transmission was this i didn’t catch it in the video sorry :) please and thank u
You ever finish this bish
good video, i installed a 1969 292 inline 6 into my 1961 chevy dubl-duti step van. i have a 454 in my rv i thot about installing it someday also
whens the next instalment?
Shouldn’t there be One More Video for The Grum Reaper? I Hope So! I Watched all the others & was just hoping for the After Interior, & Whatever Else Has been done, Final Walkthrough & Drive Video! Loved the “In Progress” videos, & love your Woodwork too! Oh, & Metal Rules! ☮️💜🪚 🎸🥁🎶
What happened with the videos????
If you’re a True Metal Head, You know it’s gotta be Dark & Badass! However, White will keep the interior & its contents Cooler, but if it’s insulated properly, it Almost Doesn’t Matter! How about a Music Compilation video of Jesse with his bands! 🤘🏼🎶
My 350 just blew in my 1984 Chevy P30. I have a 454 4 Bolt Main to put in. This video was an awesome how-to to what I got to do. It's GO time. Thanks for posting.
You ever conpleat your build?
@@royallyconfused21 not yet. Had engine setback
U work at a benz dealer ?
Update !!
I can’t wait to see the update
Very nice project
Impressed with the engine guy. Tons of knowledge and attention to detail. Awesome to see.
Thanks man!
Yessir!! 😎
You guys are brilliant! Such a challenge makes success even sweeter!
Thanks so much! 😊
I think you need to paint all the logos Crome parts black and the body grey
Honestly I love the look as is! I think you should keep it kinda patina look. Add your business logo on the side then scuff it up a bit so it doesn’t look like it’s just been painted on there 👌🏻
be great if there were more folks saaved old wood till it waas needed
Grey!!! Would be dope!!!
MMMMMMMEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRCCCCCCCCHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
She sure is starting to sparkle now! Excited for you guys!
I have a 1984 Chevy P30. The inner wheel liner is rusted out completely. What are your thoughts on how to best re-hab this area? Sheet metal fabrication?
Sheet metal replacement will be the best remedy. Then, put POR-15 on everything around it to keep the rust from spreading.
Lennie Chism not trying to hijack your question but look thru my vids (right around my Stepvan 10 thru 13 Vlog) on my Stepvan playlist. They’re rough but I had to cut and weld a bunch of areas on my Stepvan especially around the passenger side rear wheel well and the steel floor sections.
@@BobVan Thanks. I subscribed so I can look through your project. Have you had luck getting old parts? I got get a wiper motor or upgrade.
Lennie Chism mill supply has most stuff. I’ve had to know what other vehicles cross reference with mine. For example mines a “GMC P3500 Value Van”. But that’s the same as a Chevy P30 Stepvan. You can also find schematics and rebuild manuals with www.faxonautoliterature.com. Ebay is good and the usual automotive parts stores can get a lot of stuff as well.
A) How satisfying was it blow out the interior w/ the pressure washer? B) What about a matte white with glossy lettering for maximum pop?
how sum videos on how to maybe build the old fashion sofas of the 1970s that sears used ta sell those things were comfortble to sleep on when u were single ....im still single n i`mm a 50 ish teen lolol....
Color black will be so hot. White will reflect sunlight and make a cool slate for som art
Stone grey would look sick
I agree
You should paint it black and keep all the grumman logos white as well as the interior white
Don’t throw the old seats out or any of the other Grumman parts. You’d be amazed at what you can sell on eBay. Vintage Stepvan stuff is hard to find.
Quality content
I saw one of your videos on tik tok and wanted to have a look
Tyler Howard Well thanks for coming over and checking out our RUclips!

Ready for some Grum Merch! 🙌🏽
I think a merch swap may be in order!!

I’d buy a cool Stepvan type shirt!😎 If you ever played “fort” when you were kids I look at Stepvans as awesome mobile “forts”. I’m doing a bunch of mechanical work on mine. I’ve been fascinated with Stepvans since I was a kid. But they’re always a work in progress... You can find electric schematics and builders drawings etc on www.faxonautoliterature.com 🙏🏼
Very cool!!
May we please have some Grum Merch? Do you plan on putting the van on a Chassis Dyno to see how much power y'all made?
You talked me into it! I’m guessing we will need to find a dyno. Dyno or it didn’t happen right?
