@@johnwelbers4248 appreciate the comment. Hope you're enjoying the video of my trip. Already, I'm starting to think about where I will go next year. 😁 Thx G
Been interesting watching this series of videos. I was in the same area in Germany, Dolomites and Switzerland and traveled over on this exact day. Started in Luxembourg and then through Black Forest and over Grossglockner and on to Dolomites. Also a tour with my partner in Early July and we stayed 3 days in Dolomites. Amazing area and awesome riding…glad you loved it 😎🙌
Thanks for the comment. Yeah, the Dolomites were lovely. If the weather was better, I may have stayed an extra day for more exploring. It'll be in a future video, but I only managed the southern end of the B500. The road to BB was closed until October, that coupled with the relentless rain, I'd had enough by then It was an experience, no plan other than a rough direction of travel. Next time a bit more research and plan. 😁 Thx G
Thanks. Still struggling to find a balance between a Vlog and a tour video showing all the scenery where I'm not actually saying much.... except Wow!. Thanks again. G.
@@Bighitter786 yeah, I made my way towards Switzerland after Italy. It wasn't the best weather in southern Europe at that time. Hope you still enjoyed it. G
@@AManAstray Was 3 days in Cortina, went down south to lake garda for 1 day/night and rest was round dolomites, cold and dark/ rainy. Still enjoyed. good experience
@@AManAstray mate, they look great and I certainly enjoy watching them, in fact would love to replicate. But even if it’s just for your own memories, as mine, then that’s fine 👍
Now the clutch problem is known ,you could pull the clutch in over night ,the air bubble may go up and may solve the problem (other wise you have to bleed the brake fluid from the clutch on the engine side )
@@wilco1v yes, Triumph knew about the clutch issue by the time I bought the bike, brand new, so there was a recall. At the 500 mile service it all checked okay. Nearly a year later, 4000+ miles later it appeared. My gut said it was something to do with the altitude, up 3400m at one point. When I got home from this trip, it was due its 1st full service, when they noticed an air bubble. All good now. Thx G
on the wild guessing the brake / clutch fluid (dot4) is hygroscopisch alcohol based ,if it had atrackt water the boilingpoint go,s down from 280 celsius ,with 3% water it downs to 150 celsius if more than 3% even lower , engine and oil riding and going hill up heats up to above 150 celsius+ easely, this can boil the clutch fluid in a vaporlock (air bubbles) in the hydraulic clutch system, the altitude air densety will effect this in some matter to . new brake & clutch fluid before doing alp is a big advice .
I have a 1200 GT Pro and also had issues finding neutral which was resolved by bleeding but would return after about 3 to 4000 miles and require bleeding again!!
@@eurwyndavies9339 hmmmm I'm hoping it was a one off exercise. Just had my 1st service, they discovered a little air bubble. So sorted. I'll keep an eye on that then for the next trip. Ta G
I did look them up (after I remembered what I said in the video 😁) They're part of a smart road, HD cameras that monitor traffic so they can control movement etc. I didn't read that they were monitoring speed. Phew! Thx G
@@kevinmill7965 I try and make sure that video evidence shows I'm at or just below the speed limit. 😁 When I'm not filming, then only I know the speed I'm doing. Funnily enough just working on the stelvio video. On a 90kph road , everyone is doing 40. The scenery is that great, nobody is actually looking at the road.
