That was the best crash reconstruction I have ever seen
just because the bent pulley is out of round..and replaced with new ...BUT...........u dissmiss the actual bolt not the being the same(damage wise) as it was threaded to the warped/out of round/bent pulley..(out of round)? how do u test this?

Did that engine block have a heli coil in it? Did you guys do that or previous owner?
Just saw your 997 turbo vid, not sure if anyone said this. The turbos on the 997 are water cooled and you probably have a leak better when to cooling jacket and the housing. Looks to be just bad turbos imo.
Are you guys selling the short shifter?
I tell you what that exhaust system is pretty sweet. That engine sounded fantastic when you started it up. I'm sort of surprise that you do not go ahead and fix that cracked mounting hole. I guess if you don't have the right equipment or people it could be a little costly to take it out and have it done.
I cannot figure out around here where he was able to get the car up to that speed and ending up running out of road. I guess alcohol courage takes away some good sense.
I do like how you assign a price on things. You were spot on with the clutch. If the car wasn't wrecked and it accident it almost looks like that clutch was never used.

I’ve always loved the stock c6 shifter, but my Zr1 does have a mgw (not flat stick) and it’s not bad at all!

100+mph ?! Crazy I was only going 40mph when I hit a median & it tore my whole undercarriage apart 😂 car wouldn’t move anymore. Gas line & break line was completely gone 😂

Hypothetically, and I DO mean hypothetically, viper owners are so used to showing off (let’s be honest, that’s all they’re good for) that they can do it successfully no matter the BAC.

@@scraplifegarage Dang! Any way to put a parts request with you guys (not just for headlights) so when somehting comes through, it can be picked off? I know you don't grab every part off before scrapping, sometimes it can be a pain to find one of those weird little bits.

We have a ton of them for sale, most of the ones you see us scrapping are damaged in some way shape or form.
You dont keep the doors and trunk lid and things off the cars?
We keep everything of value unless we have too many of them already

I have a clean title 09 bone stock c6z with 59k miles. Probably will be selling her soon but man is this car fun to drive. Had no idea fenders were that expensive.

Man I would have loved to have found that car for that price, I would have fixed it. But I’m sure for pure profit it’s worth more to part it out. How come you send the shell to the scrap yard? Is it due to the space it takes up? Because I figured the shell still had lots of good parts.
We do keep some shells around, but at this point we know how to maximize value vs real estate and sometimes, things that seem like they might have value, like a damaged c6 chassis, simply aren’t worth more than scrap.
scraplifegarage thanks for answering my question, I did also want to ask if you get any ls engines that are priced around 2500 dollars? I know most are worth more then that but I wanted to ask before I bought a truck engine and added performance parts. I thought it might be better to start with a corvette or got motor and just add bolt ons to get the hp I’m wanting. Thanks so much.

Yeah, the front wheels weren't even destroyed. I've destroyed front wheels at 50-60mph

@@scraplifegarage Okay, disassemble a garbage c6 interior (Door panels, seats down to the frames and garbage foam and carriages they use, headliner, trim panels) and report back to me. I've worked in an upholstery shop for 10+ years, they are built like total garbage.
