The reason it gives that James Bond feel is due to MGS3's setting taking place during the Cold War in the 1960s and Naked Snake (Big Boss) being tasked with traversing a jungle in the Soviet Union to kill the person that trained him while at the same time preventing a nuclear war. The one who survives will inherit the title of Boss. And the one who inherits the title of Boss will face an existence of endless battle." - The Boss 😢
Reacting to the opening - as in, the visual you see in the game, because yes, it _does_ evoke James Bond openings - and then the Live Version could make a good follow up video. And then you could react to the Ladder Climb as like an "after credits" feature. Could be fun! Singer is Cynthia Harrell, whom I know nothing about! I spent a long time assuming it was Donna Burke, who did Heavens Divide and Sins of the Father, but in truth I'm just blind, apparently.
Metal Gear game series is a homage to James Bond movies, it was meant to bridge a gap between movies and gaming, to make you play a game as the main protagonist in a bond movie. Not only the song, but the way the story is told, with the richness of cutscenes and stories add to the gamers feel of being in a movie.
OMG...i was waiting for this reaction!!!💛💛💛+ i'd like to add another masterpiece to the list...Genshin impact has some mind blowing OST and character demos.luke's missing out on one of the biggest rabbit holes...Mihoyo producing these great music and character demos are truely a blessing to listen and watch...after beginning of luke's anime jurney this will fit perfectly....make sure to check out the character demos for Genshin impact❤....knowing luke...he'll love it!!!!!

I could recommend pretty much any song from Supergiant's games but I will go with The Spine from Transistor. Darren Korb is my favorite maker of music and sound design (and he does voice acting) in video games.
The entire game is a huge reference to James Bond and 80's action movies like rambo.also you should definitely listen to heavens divide from metal gear solid: peace walker
You should really listen to "Can't Say Goodbye to Yesterday" from Metal Gear Solid 2, which has a very 50's vibe, and "The Best Is Yet to Come" from Metal Gear Solid 1, which is sung in Celtic I believe!

WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT HOLD ON A MINUTE, VIDEOGAMES OSTS????!!!! imo you gotta check the Yakuza OSTs, they're all really so fire. The ones that I can remember off the top of my head rn are: 24 Hours Cinderella, Reign, Pride from Despair, Judgement, Tonight, Like a Butterfly, Pledge of Demon, Twin Dragons, and For Who's Sake. I hope you do any of those, you'd be in for some hell of a ride!
Love what you said about modern soundtracks. As much as I love a lot of them, especially Nolan movies, they are heavy. It's the same other types of music too. We can hear the sound engineering, while there was a time you can actually hear a real instrument and not something that's the equivalent to processed food. Shitty music clogs the ears, that's why some of us have so much wax build up. Same as eating clean, you shit better.
The Metal Gear Solid games always had the subtitled "Tactical Espionage Action." They are the story of multiple super soldiers who hold the name "Snake." Stealth is the focus. Metal Gear Rising is a spin-off and is entirely action-based with a completely different main character to Snake. The "Solid" entries in the franchise all had epic soundtracks. My recommendations: Theme of Love from MGS4 Metal Gear Saga The Best is Yet to Come
Bro, what is your microphone situation? I have headphones on and it sounds like you’re in the room with me and I have no headphones on at all. Teach me
If you want to play MGS3 Snake Eater yourself, it actually still totally holds up to modern games. It even does unique things that other games don't do nearly as well. And the boss battles are all epic. The End's boss battle in particular is known as one of the best, if not the best, sniper vs sniper battles in any game ever. And even if you dont know anything about the series, you will be fine playing Snake Eater cause is is a total prequal that you will be able to enjoy even and understand as a first time MGS player. Now you have to listen to The Best Is Yet To Come. That is from the first Metal Gear Solid game. It is totally old school in the best way possible. While you're at it, the Main Theme from MGS 1 is great too. The Main Theme for MGS2 Sons Of Liberty is an updated version of the same track. Finally, the MGS3 Main Theme is the final and most updated version of this same track. All three tracks sound very similar, but they are all distinctly different and fit the vibe of the game they are connected to perfectly. None of them have vocals. They are pure action. The next MGS song that is an absolute must listen is Love Deterrence from MGS Peace Walker. I would recommend you find the full animated music video for the song for the best listening experience. I believe the next song is also from Peace Walker. It is Heavens Divide. A beautifully powerful song. The final song I am going to recommend is called "Two Han Princess Oishii Two han Seikatsu". That one is not technically played during the game per se. However, it is very important to many MGS4 Guns Of The Patriots players. I remember putting it on the in game iPod and running around fighting battles along side the militia in the Middle East and the rebels in South America. I would also play it during boss battles on higher difficulties cause it was good for recovering Old Snakes Psych Gauge. Plus is just a total banger!
How about 1000 words(sen no kotoba) or Suteki da ne from Final Fantasy 10 next ? and yes, Metal Gear Solid had pretty classy songs since the beginning of it's series, I know MGR revengeance got it's own fandom, but that is not Hideo Kojima would make, and all of Metal Gear Solid fandom know, Hideo Kojima is the life of the game, that is why it's very different, everything is different between both games, While MGS is more toward story telling and stealth gameplay, the other one is pure chaos, Hideo Kojima made Metal Gear Solid games feels like movies, his choice for music is classy, Every Hideo Kojima's Metal Gear Solid has solid soundtracks that solidify the game legendary status in gaming world,
Metal Gear Rising is great, but it's a spinoff. To compare music of the main series you have to compare to something like MGS V's "Sins of the Father" which has reached meme status. Or MGS 4's "Gekko" theme or something Plus this same game's "Alert" themes (the "Caution" theme is a personal favorite) or "battle with evil personified" Like, there are some difference among the games, especially with Phantom Pain, but MGS Rising is the wildest outlier in terms of music in the series.
Donna Burke, one of the most popular game singer in the world. I reccomend her other songs from Metal Gear Solid or jrpgs. As someone mentioned Donna Burke only did a cover, the original song sings Cynthia Harrel, sorry for mistakes.
Metal Gear Rising, while iconic is an outlier in the music department. Its hardly ever hard metal like that. The style changes sometimes but it’s usually spy/sneaky/orchestral tunes.
Trust me the very first time putting MGS3 into my playstation and hit start and this song comes on a swear I was like I didn't buy a 007 game I swear I bought metal gear this song blow my mind and wow she has an amazing voice
Wow i just finished this game last month. So far, i love my MGS journey. MGS 1,2 and 3 OST are great. Listening to this makes me want to climb a ladder...

You hit the right spot when you said it feels like a 1960s song, as that is the era where Snake Eater takes place
and how the characters predict things about the future and tell each other: That's Dumb!

The one who survives will inherit the title of Boss. And the one who inherits the title of Boss will face an existence of endless battle."
- The Boss 😢
It sounds like something that David Arnold would write for his James Bond scores and it sounds awesome!
Bro you made my day with this one, mgs has A LOT of sick tracks I hope you get to some of them. Try listening to Way to fall and Nuclear next
( Calling To The Night ) is so good pls react to it , it for metal gear solid portable ops
I've never actually played Metal Gear, but even still this song legit gives me chills every time I listen to it.
Please react to NieR Automata or NieR Replicant at any time 🙏
This James bond vibes is intentional ... and Nyannner covers it: ruclips.net/video/Zx10MlfxpFk/видео.html
Yes.he's missing out on lot of things.i hope he'll react to all the character demos soon.i have been playing the game since 2021 and everytime i see those demos like zhongli's i get goosebumps everytime.they are masterpieces❤
that's Cynthia Harrel singing
I could recommend pretty much any song from Supergiant's games but I will go with The Spine from Transistor. Darren Korb is my favorite maker of music and sound design (and he does voice acting) in video games.
The live is not the original vocalist
The entire game is a huge reference to James Bond and 80's action movies like rambo.also you should definitely listen to heavens divide from metal gear solid: peace walker
These openings to metal gear solid really channel the James Bond energy
You should really listen to "Can't Say Goodbye to Yesterday" from Metal Gear Solid 2, which has a very 50's vibe, and "The Best Is Yet to Come" from Metal Gear Solid 1, which is sung in Celtic I believe!
Irish, specifically. Celtic is like a group of languages. Still, I love Can't Say Goodbye to Yesterday and The Best Is Yet to Come.
Another tracks from MGS, like "Heavens Divide", "Calling To The Night" or "Sins of The Father" are equally great. I'd like to recommend them to you.
Cynthia harrell

I'm waiting for you to listen to Love Detterence.
I didn't expect you reacted to that amazing opening. I recommend you to listen "Over The Clouds", from God Eater.
WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT HOLD ON A MINUTE, VIDEOGAMES OSTS????!!!!
imo you gotta check the Yakuza OSTs, they're all really so fire. The ones that I can remember off the top of my head rn are:
24 Hours Cinderella, Reign, Pride from Despair, Judgement, Tonight, Like a Butterfly, Pledge of Demon, Twin Dragons, and For Who's Sake. I hope you do any of those, you'd be in for some hell of a ride!
Omg yessss! I love Metal Gear Solid so much I would love to watch you play them! :D
Please react to One Winged Angel Final Fantasy Advent Children Version🔥🔥🔥🤩🤩🤩
Running with the MGS music check out Metal Gear Soild song The Best is Yet To Come.😊
Just remembered this video game song you've just GOT to react to: ruclips.net/video/7SbDWN1D_PU/видео.html from a game called Psychonauts 2.
My recommendations:
Theme of Love from MGS4
Metal Gear Saga
The Best is Yet to Come
...I guess 3 is the most *espionage* themed and everything(all of them are, but 3 is just more)......., so it's just perfect....
🥸
Or MGS 4's "Gekko" theme or something
Plus this same game's "Alert" themes (the "Caution" theme is a personal favorite) or "battle with evil personified"
Like, there are some difference among the games, especially with Phantom Pain, but MGS Rising is the wildest outlier in terms of music in the series.
2:09 "Feels like a song from the 60's"
The game is actually set in 1964 so you're right on the money there.
「Bravely Default Live Concert - Linked Horizon Luxendarc Rukusendaruku Kiko」one of the best RPG game music live.
Donna Burke, one of the most popular game singer in the world. I reccomend her other songs from Metal Gear Solid or jrpgs. As someone mentioned Donna Burke only did a cover, the original song sings Cynthia Harrel, sorry for mistakes.
If you like this, I highly suggest you react to the Vtuber, Nyanners' cover of it. Her music video just amps up the James Bond feel
Since your in the rabbit hole, the vtuber nyanners from vshojo did an insanely good cover of this song.
I'd highly recommend reacting to Way To Fall by Starsailor, also from Metal Gear Solid 3
You should check out "Main Theme" from Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition OST.
Please React to any of the Arknights EP's
some of my favorites are All hail Savior!, Ständchen, Requiem. But there are many more amazing songs
Videogame music means that the Undertale OST is a must. One thing videogames do so well is music under heavy restriction to make truly unique tunes.
Should give Quiet's Theme + Sins of the Father a listen when you have time. MGS has some of the best ever.
No sé porqué esta canción me recuerda a Glassy Sky de Tokyo Ghoul, creo que es la voz
U should listen to QUIET'S THEME from METAL GEAR SOLID 5 THE PHANTOM PAIN
Now would be a good time to get introduced to Nyanners, by her cover of Snake Eater.
this song... the memories... oh god
The James Bond inspiration is intentional because Metal Gear Solid 3 is technically a inspired by things like James Bond.
Gonna throw my hat in to suggest guilty gear, specifically 'mirror of the world' from strive because she's my main and I'm selfish 😃
Please react to ELDEN RING Malenia Boss Fight OST….!!!
The symphony version isn't as good as the original track. The vocalist, in my opinion butchered it.
Wow i just finished this game last month. So far, i love my MGS journey. MGS 1,2 and 3 OST are great. Listening to this makes me want to climb a ladder...
React to heavens divide by Donna Burke, that's the main vocal theme of metal gear solid peace walker, one of the best vocal songs from the franchise.
