This guys negative Nancy. Buzelis in May of 2023 was projected #1 in 2024. He was supposed to go top 5 for sure too 10. We got him at 11. One thing bulls have done well is develop shooting (ie Coby Ayo Caruso etc.)
Patrick Williams has had two seasons cut short due to injury. Patrick Williams has shot close to 40% from the 3 point line in the NBA. Patrick Williams problem is that he does not shoot enough.
Honestly away from the chat around Buzelis I agree with the conversation to move on from both DeRozan and Lavine. The question for the front office is are either of these guys going to get the roster to the playoffs and do anything? For me no, unfortunately Zach is a walking injury note and at 34 DeRozan is at best the 2nd or 3rd guy on a champion team maybe even the 6th man. Going back to Buzelis, he looks like he could be a good stretch 4 with some time to hone his shooting at the pro level and time with some S&C coaches to build that frame. If you build around that young core with a top 3 pick in next years draft you could have something to work with over the next 5 years. Doing what they are doing now will scrape into the playoffs at best and probably go home 1st round which for a franchise like the Bulls is a waste of time and should not be accepted imo.

@chrisbleck4703 they want to keep their top ten pick next year. It's the right time to get younger and play them to see what you have. If you can clear salary in the process it's a win win. It's better than trying to run it back again that is for sure.
