- An experience of a lifetime.
Trekking into the jungle to visit the endangered, Mountain Gorilla in Uganda. This was one of the most incredible experiences of our lives. We have given you guys an honest opinion of how we found our Gorilla Trekking experience in this video.
Our overlanding journey across the African continent in our Land Rover Defender 110 camper continues as we enjoy our final experience in the amazing country of Uganda.
We have loved every second we have spent in Uganda.

The reality is wildlife has to have a financial value other than poaching to survive. Without the revenue from managed tourism that benefits both animals and the local communities around them, there would be no wildlife left. There will be other opinions but for me, sustainable managed tourism is the only future endangered animals have. Treasure the experience and the memory. One of my most treasured memories was sitting on the opposite bank of the river in Samburu downwind of a family of elephants. Their family bond was so clear to see and hear too. Magic.
Absolutely wonderful. Well worth the price of the tour. Thanks for showing us the Gorilla's in there natural beauty.
am proud to be Ugandan look at nature god bless my motherland the pearl of africa 🇺🇬💓 🌍
Thank you for sharing with us. Gods creation is just leaving me in awe.
Wow, what an experience! Whatching the gorillas in your video was so special that I got wet eyes... Thank you!!
Its so worth the money. We did this in 2012 and it has been a life long highlight ever since. Awesome guys.
An absolutely amazing video. Sound, music, filming and atmosphere. Thank you for allowing us to take part in your journey.
Thankyou so much for sharing your experience with the mountain gorillas, absolutely fascinating.
Said it before…but still- I simply adore you to as a couple.
This vlog is incredible; you’re not like other vloggers- you’re genuinely ‘getting out there’, living the experiences.
May God bless you both and continue to be with you on your extraordinary expeditions 🙏
Howdy Landies! That was your best video of the whole African adventure! The glimpse of such amazing and rare gorillas was very moving! Thank you for sharing your incredible pictures and thoughts. In your debt….be safe and saddle up. 🙏🩷
Thank you for visiting Uganda!! Hope you will come back see the beauty of mountain rwenzori and the hot springs

Wow what a awesome adventure . Truly spectacular viewing thanks for doing this video . enjoyable viewing felt like being right with you . Totally 💯 percent spectacular video . Cheers from Steve Stott in Sutherlin Oregon U.S.A. :) :) 🌍🦍🍻👍🏼😁
thanks for visiting and showcasing Uganda
I’m sure that experience will stay with you guys forever!
Unforgettable experience 🥰🥰
Wow, that was excellent.
This to me was like a movie...I love the starting scenery and sound tracks...
I stay in Uganda and surprisingly i have never seen a gorilla face to face😅. Great expedition thanks for the video
You're not alone
You missed a lot . For the last 10 years the price for a gorilla permit for East Africans was at 250k they just increased it early this year.
You can do it just go to UWA book a permit, board Starlink bus from Kasenyi to Buhoma, stay at a local camp in Bwindi and enjoy the experience. With about 800k you can make it .
@@lornakal5300 will surely do that. And my village is just in sheema district
What an awesome experience and I’m very jealous as it’s been on my wish list for a while. Even though it is expensive I’m sure it was worth it and yes we are invading their space but that is the same with all wildlife in order to survive they have to have a monetary value.
Look at the Silverback 😮😮😮😮 let me plan another visit to Bwindi 😅😅
wow ... how cool was that ? 😳
What a special episode. You guys are beyond blessed ❤
An amazing video and experience. Great where the Landy can get you
Wow this is lovely, Uganda is so beautiful. Thank u so much for a nice video
😎👍
Great video with excellent photography. 👍🏻
Wow guys!!! What a magical experience! You captured beautiful footage of the gorillas. It was fun to watch the little one climbing around ☺️
How long did you get to sit and watch the gorillas for?
Such an incredible experience ❤
Your documenting is awesome. Good job with videos. 😅 Been traveling virtually with you gathering info n planning my next routes.
Incredible experience
You got some great footage there. I kept expecting Attenborough to do a piece to camera.
Amazing
Absolutely gorgeous although you both had a feeling of guilt let’s just hope that the money goes back to taking care of them. Take care
We also drove ourselves there and camped in a carpark and managed to get to see them … as you say, it’s pricy but so worth it ….how hectic was your climb out ? We nearly died 😂😂😂
Wow, bucket list stuff! A pity about the focus confirmation beeps on the related short, was that your cam or others?
It was really amazing! No this was from someone else in the group. We have our camera on silent when photography/videoing wildlife.
I sent hours editing this sound out of this RUclips video but must have missed doing so in our short!
I wish others would set their cameras/phones to silent mode when capturing wildlife!
@@TheLandyExpedition Must do that one day. I thought as much, that beeping from other cameras must have caused you loads of grief in editing. Wish others were as considerate as you guys.
Incredible! All Ugandans gather here
