Ginny Griffin, Vilk's First Mom :)
As a flight attendant, i always asked captain for confirmation for pets underneath and would go to each person and let them know their baby was safely on.
That's going above and beyond. Really beautiful of you. :-)
7/21/24, 8:42 p.m.
Now that is a real pilot. Not only cares about the people on board his plane, but the pets to. Well done KLM
That was SO NICE of the pilot to take a second to reassure you! So happy all went well :)
Almost certainly airline policy, no more nice than someone at McDonald's giving you your fries ;)..
I’m subscribed to you jorden
Anyone flying animals in cargo should request confirmation it is loaded.I have asked flight attendant to confirm.
That pilot was trying to smash. 💀 💀
We had a similar experience. The confirmation that our dog was on board was a great relief. But it occurred to me it would be the worst nightmare ever if they had said otherwise. I would have had no idea what to do.
All the kindness you and Vilk recieved - and the captain calling out and welcoming you onboard to assure you that Vilk was with you made the tears come in my eyes.
Also nice to see the Brazilian man helped you.
"WHEN YOU SEND OUT LOVE - YOU RECEIVE LOVE"‼️❤️🥰
I am a 53 year old 6’3” 215 pound former U.S. Marine, mma fighter, construction worker. I was in tears watching Vilk get wheeled into that elevator and being separated from you. Getting ridiculously soft in my old age. Just can stand seeing such a loving animal going into a potentially scary situation. I love people and animals and did all the things I have done so I could be a good protector of them. Sorry you were not able to make a life here with us but looking forward to seeing what you accomplish in the future. Praying for you and Vilk
Nothing soft about being compassionate. Makes you understand better what you've gone through. You're not at war, why would you need to be a stone?
Ahhh just goes to show how strong of a bond we can have to our animals ❤ thank you for feeling our story!
You are a REAL MAN w a gorgeous heart !! 👍👍💜🥁🐉🎤🎶✈️💞
53 is not old age
As an US citizen I was rather proud when you decided the US is where you wanted to put down some roots. I'm sorry it didn't work out and I'm sad you had to leave. I wish you all the best in your next chapter and I'll be here continuing to watch it happen! Take care!
As a US citizen, I agree
Why?!😂
Real estate and emotion are a bad mix. It could have worked.
Yea i agree, most millennials in the US can't afford a half million dollar mansion either haha. We make do and honestly that's why most are trying to leave the US too.
But honestly there's PLENTY of CHEAP RURAL land in the US. Especially in the west.. no offense but I'm think she gave up too quick IF she wanted a ranch. Very possible even for a struggling millennial.
@theiconicimageyep politics is tearing US apart , radical righties and radical lefties, got to go both bad for US . Hope it gets better 🙏, or I will plan to leave
KLM flew my dog from Desert Storm (Saudi Arabia) back to Germany. I have nothing but praise for them. On arrival in Germany his bedding had been cleaned, water refreshed etc. Nice to see that they are still as wonderful today as they were then. Good luck to you Eva.
Not surprised the man who helped was Brazilian 😌 my people just built like that 💛💚💙
quero lech!!
I think you spending the time to acclimatize Wilk to the carrier and train him to see it as a safe place really helped the travel and reduce the anxiety, you really are a good mom to him.
I believe it's Vilk
@@common-girlYeah, I was thinking of German where it would be written Wilk but pronounced Vilk, as in German Vilk would be pronounced Filk. But she is Polish so I guess I am wrong, lol.
@@utha2665 In Polish it's ,,wilk" (Wolf), so you were right. :)
You are not alone. A large portion of America can’t afford their dream homes in America. I’m a 70 year old US citizen and I bought a home in Texas 10 years ago and it’s affordable for me but everything else has become out of reach. I wish you the best wherever you go and I’m sure your dog will be ok. Just give him the love he deserves when you are re-United.
Inflation comes and goes and it'll go down in a few years and property prices will be a bit more reasonable.
Yes, but she's moving to Europe and Europe isn't any cheaper either. Nowhere is cheap anymore
@@michaellacy847
Do you are telling a 70 year old that inflation will go down.
The only time we had deflation was during the 1930s and that was worse than inflation.
Trust me, barring an economic collapse like we had in the 1930s, prices will never get close to pre-COVID or pre-Biden levels.
You cant afford a house with 1,7mln subscribers?! What?! how am I ever going to live from income with my 27 LOL subscribers
@@swaggertravels Same here!! This woman, tries to live a larger life, that she can't afford, without working, but by doing what she likes. I never subscribed to her, because she portrays everything in a drama type of way. She knows, how to manipulate her audience.
When you said the pilot came and told you Vilk was on board I just broke down 😭. How kind. I think I was just really feeling your apprehension and nerves and just felt relief that the crew actually cared enough to let you know he was on board. Im so happy he’s fine and you’re reunited ❤
I flew several times with my dogs and every time someone would come to me telling me he witnessed my dog being boarded.
It was nice for him to let you know the he was onboard, shame your bags didnt experience the same...
Hejka! Very interesting crate. Happy for you that Vilk was so relaxed. I guess the Dutch king didn't fly you.
Our Malinois broke out of an ICAO certified crate in two seconds, demolished one used by Stena line ferries and broke out one like it was a scene of a Daltons cartoon.
I never knew that US land and housing was so expensive. I hope you can find your place.
Eva, as a retired TSA officer, I'm so glad your experience went well (as can be expected, though stressful). During my service, I often had the chance to see the closeness the Moms and Dads had with their beloved pets during the pre-flight inspection. Looking back, you can now use this as valuable learning experience for both you and Vilk. Best Wishes for your future travels. 🙏🐺🤠
Awww that must have been so special to witness ❤️
To go as the dog goes, haphazard and intent, every step, an arrival.
I flew my husky from Seattle to Frankfurt and went through the same experience. He was super chilled, picked him up and he was just yawing, so left him in until we got out of the terminal. Felt so good to get him outside for a walk. He was indifferent and it was all worth it spending all that time with him while I was working in Germany and NL.
Ah I am so happy it went smoothly for you two! What a relief to know your dog can travel alongside you.
Not all dog respond to this in a positive manor, don't ship your pet unless you really have no other choise....
@@mattottie6410 I flew with my black lab. My vet gave me a doggie downer for him. HE LIVED, and could have cared less about the flight. It's the person like Eva said that have the problem. Just, "live in the moment".
@@dellingson4833 agreed! Ppl leave pets in boarding for a long time, that seems far more tough than a 12hr travel trip. I actually told my work I’ll take my dog or I could leave the job, I was not spending 4-5 months of my life without my dog. It turned into a great trip and my dog got to see several countries!
@@dellingson4833 i worked for the airlines for about 25 years, i can tell u stories about shipping your pets, espcially the early days , i have seen dogs chew thru plastic crates, bloody mouths and very sick, and on the b727 if the flight engineer forgot to turn on the pressurization valve then the live animals die from lack of air, called the DEAD DOG SWITCH on the engineering panel, so now you are more informed, your welcom, matt.
What a wonderful video. So emotional. Thank you Eva for sharing this with us.
The pilot coming to u and assuring u that Vilk is on board and safe made me cry. A small comforting gesture helps alot during a stressfull journey. ❤
He was so kind!
As a dog trainer …you did everything right! Well done!!
From all your videos since getting Vilk, you have raised him so well. His travel life (training), obedience training , and your crate training combined made this flight the least stressful possible for him. You have trained him to be confident and handle what life throws at him, just as you do.
As a disabled service dog handler & trainer…Thank you for not only sharing the difference between service dog and pet dog flying but for actually abiding by it. Vilk is so well trained, you probably could have slapped a vest on him and he would have been as respectful and responsible as an SD would and be able to handle it bc of how you raised and trained him as evidenced in several of your videos in public spaces prove. Your integrity shines through and I greatly appreciate you. So many ppl do not realize that faking an SD not only puts real SDs in danger, but it can be extremely stressful for dogs not trained to confidently handle the human world outside of their home bubble.
Thank you for allI that you do. You have been an inspiration in my RV journey. When I moved into my RV, I rewatched some of your Vilk puppy vids for travel specific training I had noticed in them that would be useful to me and my clients. Thank you for teaching through sharing your life.
I wish you the best of luck in your new adventure! I look forward to seeing where it takes you! Save travels!
Well said! Vilk is such a well trained, good dog, and living a really good life with Eva.
I'm so impressed with how you've raised Vilk! Especially being your first dog, particularly a GSD. kudos to the responsible breeders that produced a sound dog and guided you. Mostly to you for committing to his best life. Congrats!
Thank you for sharing this. I wanted to fly with my 75 lb dog and was too afraid to do it thinking he would be hurt. Your video helped me so much. I’m surprised by how emotional I got seeing you emotional. I love my dog like that too. ❤❤ 🐕🦺🐾
I BURST into tears when you said the captain came to tell you Vilk on board 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤That's so sweet. I was stressing with you throughout this. ❤ So happy at your reunion ❤ ❤
Proud papa of 3 medium sized pups. Completely teared up when you told the story about the flight captain coming back, and then the announcement. How amazing that was to try and put you at ease.
Same! 😊
Oh my god I know, he was SO KIND. It felt surreal.
Glad to see you both together and happy!
Waiting for your next European life and adventures 😊
Interesting, I had the same reaction! 🥹I was so touched and thought it was a beautiful act of empathy and kindness.
Hi, Eva! I've moved with my first Teckel dog, Sofi, from Argentina to Spain: 15 hours flying. And when I arrived all by myself to Madrid, I found out that they lost her at the airport (eventually they found her, but it was one of the worst experiences of my existence). I cried when I saw you waiting for Vilk, all that traumatic experience came back! My second beloved Teckel dog, Cata, travelled all of Europe by train, car, plain, ferry, etc. I don't think they get traumatized for ever because they fly on a plane, but we suffer a lot!!!
How long did it take them to find your Sofi?
@@ketoauntie7301 almost one hour. And the worst part is that I could hear her scream from her cage, but I couldn't find her (Madrid airport is huge). Just horrible
Oh gosh I'm sorry you had to go through that, I can't even imagine how difficult and stressful that would have been :( So glad you were reunited in the end!
Yea I moved to Hawaii with my elderly boxer. They said he would be the last thing put on the plane and first off. We waited for an hour before he came out. 🤬 What really sucked was he had to be quarantined for several weeks. That was tough but Charlie ended up spending the last three years of his life in paradise. He loved it there and had many memorable adventures.
I think it was lovely of the captain of the plane to come over and speak to you personally to rest assure that vilk was aboard the aircraft.I look forward to seeing what you have planned ❤️❤️❤️
Great customer service and kindness shown by klm in a stressful situation glad bilk was ok
As a pet owner I can totally relate. Vilk is family. You want the best for him. Can't wait for the next chapter!!!
Hello, I would just like to say. Do not let the fears projected by others effect you, fear is of the mind unreal and made up. Danger is real, Vilk is fearless knowing you are there for him.
You are far more capable, and your resilience shines through. As does Vilk's
Be well, safe journey.
That's kind of you
@@evazubeckmy pleasure, it is the truth, don't let anything or anyone dull your sparkler. Be well , keep on shining.
Eva, we miss you in the USA. Wishing you all the best! Thank you for sharing your American adventures, and reflections. So glad you and Vilk are home safe.
Eva, if you ever need to bring Vilk back to the states, and you would like to avoid the stress of flying, the Queen Mary II that makes the transatlantic crossing to New York will allow you to bring your dog. He'll still be boarded but will have regular potty breaks and exercise, and you have scheduled play time with him in the dog area.
I’ve considered this when I wanted to move with a grumble of pugs. Have you done it?
I am so glad you and Vilk arrived alright. I flew with my big dog between Mexico and Alaska on Alaska Airlines every 6 months for about 9 years (3 connecting flights) and my dog was always fine, chill and happy. He never had any issues and was always happy to get in the crate because he knew we were going on an adventure; even after, on one trip, having to be inside the crate for 23 hours because of missing connections due to delays . It is amazing how long they can hold it! The paperwork prior to flying was annoying but nothing else.
Oh my gosh such a champ! And what a great traveller he is ❤
I’m a grown man and dog lover and I found myself crying in this video. I was born in Europe but lived my life in the US and I’m considering spending more time in Europe. But flying my dogs has been a huge concern for me. I’m still not sure if my current dog can handle the trip like Vilk did (my other dog passed). It’s so concerning to me. I totally understand your stress. (BTW I have three grown children, this is an extra level of stress you never have with kids because they can fly with you in the cabin). Thank you for this video!
I sympathize. My daughter brought back the dog she adopted while living in Japan. About 11 hours on the plane. He came through it just fine. I’m sure it was an ordeal, but it doesn’t always go badly. 🤗 Vilk is a very good boy!
So happy to hear that :)
The pilot was super nice. I live in the Netherlands and always fly back and forth to visit my American family with KLM. Not only that but I'm a collector of KLM mini-houses. It's a wonderful airline.
I'm also a huge pet lover and am so happy for you and Vilk. You've trained him well over the time you've had him from a pup, and it shows. He handled the stress of travel superbly. Well done, you. It's also good to know about the travel conditions for him, which were better than I would've thought too from all the comments of others travelling with animals as well.
So, welcome to Europe. Welcome home, Eva!
I hope to get out of the US for some of the same reasons as Eva. It is my long-term plan. This place just isn't presenting an economic solution for my family's needs. I am tired of drowning in medical bills and I want a place that seems to offer more to the people.
I predict Eva will be back in 🇺🇸🇨🇦 with an all new perspective on life . " The mystery of life is not a problem to be solved but a reality to be experienced . "
She probably will be back but that doesn’t change anything regarding her visa and how long she is allowed to stay.
"Life is not a problem to be solved, it is a mystery to be lived." Rilke, I think
Now this is very well said! I was looking forward to you becoming a cowgirl and living on a ranch, but hey life is full of surprises. My Dad is from Poland I think the village is called Ludz or Wudz! Sorry I don't know Polish language. Anyway you are funny and I look forward to your adventures wherever you go. Keep up the good work! Get back to America and on a horse!
and the real estate prices.....@@ke2delight
I’d like to think that, but probably not. There are better opportunities elsewhere. I hate to say it as an American, but it is true. We live in a bureaucratic state of sclerosis
Don't think you couldn't have kids because of the anxiety you felt for Vilk. You've demonstrated that you'd make a great parent with a heart full of love and caring. You've already shown you have all the skills. Now that I'm older, I realize the importance of family and wish I'd been more appreciative of that when I was younger. I was so occupied with career and getting ahead that I didn't enjoy what was right in front of me. None of those companies or jobs mean anything to me now, but my son means everything to me. Time changes us, just as you've noticed a change in your desire to have a permanent address, so don't eliminate possibilities that could end up being very fulfilling. You could have a great family and a dog should always be a part of it!
Unlike most dogs Vilk has been super-trained in mobile and somewhat confined situations, with vibrations and shocks, the plane might just have been smoother than usual? What a great loving relationship there, after all these fantastic travels that I have been following for so many years.
Aww, bye, Eva! Sorry it didn't work out but I'm sure you will find your dream someday! Stay well!
USA
For sure! Dreams change don't they :)
You're right! He had more space and privacy in the crate than if he flew in the seated cabin. Next time I fly I'm going to ask to fly "crate"!
Great idea! Likely better than shelf loading cargo on Southwest.
😂😂😂👍👍
Massive shoutout to KLM.
Us Dutchies absolutely love dogs.
I flew from Curacao to Amsterdam by KLM with my dog and they also took great care of him.
Yes I am also sorry to see you go. To bad! We need people like you here.
Literally brought me to tears when you said the KLM pilot took the time to reassure you that Vilk was on the plane ..... so very very kind. New adventures for you and Vilk, cliffhanger !!!! Cannot wait 🙂🙂🙂
That crate you got for Vilk is awesome. He traveled in first class accommodations. Very safe. Your crate training was what made it no big deal for him. Looking forward to your next life adventures that you will be sharing with us.
Well you can call it first class but I'd say the inflight entertainment was sub par!
As one who's moved back and forth across the Atlantic Ocean, there is nothing more stressful than flying with pets in the cargo hold. Best wishes for you and your bub.
Good morning Eva, I had surgery about 6 weeks ago and have been confined to my house this whole time and unable to drive. I'm a very active 60 year old and live in the Midwest and consider myself so very lucky to have stumbled upon your videos. I love your positive attitude and has helped me stay sane traveling around this beautiful United States with you. I know your videos Have been around a few years but like I said I just discovered them and it's been absolutely perfect to see them. Thanks again and I wish you all the best, Chris.
Well, well, Eva. Out of the states. I hope whatever your future holds it will be with gentle kindness. You're really quiet the delightful person. Hope to see you again soon.
EVA there are other places in America that are just as beautiful as the west, but also half as expensive, or less.
Exactly she just focused on the one part oh well
As a fairly new (2 months) dog owner, this genuinely made me tear up when you met him again in Amsterdam
Was such a great feeling
Me too. I could feel every emotion. Totally relate.
I used to fly KLM to Europe all the time, many years ago. I'd heard recently through the travel community that their service isn't what it used to be, but your first-hand experience is reassuring (minus the lost bag...argh!). I'm sorry the U.S. didn't work out, at least for now. For all our flaws, it really is an amazing place if you open your eyes and look around. Can't wait to see what your next adventure brings us. Au revoir, Eva!
Very sympathetic! ❤❤❤❤❤
I had a beautiful dog for 13 years. I know the feelings. 😢😢😢
Your dog is amazing how we can handle that stress as well because he’s aware of it. I understand how you feel empathizing and sympathizing with you.
Vilk has grown so much. He’s a beautiful dog. Good to hear your trip was uneventful and safely made it to Europe.
I just have to say, Eva, how much I've appreciated you sharing your travels and personal journey with us with honesty and vulnerability; the highs and lows, and changes of plans, and your process. Your channel isn't just a 'show', it's your real life. And you're living it as true to you as best you can. I think we all see how much Vilk has been a magnificent companion, and how well you've trained him: totally understand the anxiety about him flying- so kind of the pilot to reassure you! I hope you're both settling into this new season of life and exploring the possibilities and opportunities. It feels like a major page-turner. Stay well, Eva, and Vilk! I'll see you in the next one.
(Hey I have something for you)🎉🎉🎉❤
Eva, Vilk IS your child. You have every right to be nervous. I just hope and pray we can get you and Vilk back to America again soon and permanently. As always, BIG HUGS and much ❤from Tennessee!
I have 2 rescue dogs, in my country we never use crates unless you fly, we dont have crates at our homes, so crate trainning is not a thing, I really admire the work you did with him before flying, and the pilot gesture was AMAZING! Just found you channel but was so glad you had such a good experience! Greetings from Colombia!
When you said goodbye to Vilk at the airport, the tears started flowing. Then, when the pilot mentioned you and Vilk, I was crying because it was such a lovely gesture. Vilk is an old soul, a very special dog. ❤
I'm only 4 secs in and I already KNOW how stressed out I'm going to get watching this. I have a large dog too and attempting to fly with him would be hell on earth for us both.
EDIT: OMG I love that captain.😭 This whole video erased a lot of misconceptions I had, having ONLY heard the horror stories. Thank you for sharing!
The captain was just amazing. Yes, the whole experience gave me a lot of confidence for potential future travel
@@evazubeckI just read on the US’ Department of Transportation site for flying with pets to let the Captain and flight crew know you have a beloved down in cargo. We all get busy and miss things, luckily he/she saw your baby on the manifest!! I can’t imagine putting any of my large furbabies in the cargo hold. My big boy Jameson already has massive anxiety, I could and will never do that to him. I’ve had other beloveds in the past (😢) I could’ve but would’ve only in an emergency or special situation such as yours. His zoomies brought tears to my eyes!!
@@evazubeckI’m so grateful he’s fine. They aren’t made up stories. They even lose kill and maim Westminster show dogs, our most famous show dogs when they know they will get lots of bad press. Yes fear is wasted emotion but facts can prevent catastrophic pain. If you want to travel with him learn the facts. People don’t tell you this to scare you but so you can make an educated decision.
I love how much you care for your dog. So many people could care less about them. You have a beautiful heart.
@davegoodridge8352, hello 👋 from Poland 🇵🇱 and my channel and countryside 🏡🐕😊
This video was so emotional for me. You did a great job of preparing him, that crate is great and KLM, WOW! I am glad to hear that they can control the temperature in there now. My cat was traumatized and never the same again, almost froze to death, and ended up having medical problems for the rest of his life, my dear sweet Sooty. That was in the late 90s/early 2000s, and the domestic flight in the US was the bad one, not the international flights so much.
Ewka pozdrów Wilka. Most emotional story, I've ever seen on Your channel. Nice to have Wilk on our soil.

So glad you had a number of days to chill out on Nantucket before your flight to Europe. Nantucket is a very special place and it’s a good place to prepare yourself for your next big adventure. Vilk is a very sweet, looking boy. We were just streaming this watching it. My border collie sat in front of the TV and stared at your dog.
Rumor has it there once was a man from Nantucket, can't remember the rest but there was once a man from there 😂
I was the man from Nantucket for 34 years until I retired seven years ago and left and moved back to America
Girl I TOTALLY feel your anxiety. I have 3 puppies and the anxiety is so real. I was holding my breath the whole time until he came out and was fine. So glad everything went well. Sending you guys tons and tons of love
Harriet and I are so happy that Vilk made it ok as well as you. We were sitting on pins and needles worrying just as we would if it were our dog, Yuki. Don't give up on your dream in finding
roots in America. Circumstances change all the time. You never know ? Harriet and I would like to have you here as our guests in Virginia. The welcome mat is here for you.😁 Jim, Harriet
and Yuki Richmond, Va.
Thanks you guys ❤ I’m sure Yuki would have done amazingly too!
I have a big Alaskan Malamute and ever since she was a tiny puppy she'd been claustrophobic. She screams and wails in fear when she's in a tight space like a crate. She's not even a big fan of closed doors. She tolerates being in a room with a closed door, but she's not happy about it and expresses her displeasure when she gets released. I would not be able to fly with her at all unless she was in the cabin and even then I believe she'd be quite anxious. You're very lucky Vilk is such a good boy that tolerates a crate well.
So happy for u both! We will miss your presence in the US! Tyvm for your special visit! Hope you come back soon…
I started tearing up when you said the captain came to personally tell you Vilk was on board! Wow what a stress relief! So nice! By the way, I've wanted to tell you Vilk's dark colored face and his expressions are so cute. I think he has the most beautiful German shepherd coloring I've ever seen. Can't wait to see what your surprise is! I wonder if you've found a property already.
This video helped soo much! My partner is flying to Amsterdam from Montreal on KLM in just a couple weeks with our cat and we've been super stressed and nervous about it but seeing how good your experience with KLM was is super reassuring!! Really awesome for the captain to take the time to reassure you and welcome you aboard! :D
I want to move out of the US with my 100 pound dog and your story helps so much, glad Vilk is enjoying life in Europe ❤
I am anxiously awaiting your next episode where you say all went well with Vilk's flight. I have flown my dog from London to USA many years ago and she was fine. Thanks to British Airways who takes care of the furry travellers.
Train him as a service dog. He grounds your anxiety. That way he can fly in the cabin with you.
Guess you didn't watch the whole thing. Spoiler: everything went smoothly! 🦮
That's what this video was about, Vilk's flight experience. There is no other video. Next we will see how it was for her to collect her Odyssey and her family reunion in Poland and if she got her lost bag back at all.
@@Imanoone1 Please don't suggest this. ESAs and service dogs are not the same. A service dog must be trained for a specific task. There are people with serious disabilities that need trained service dogs. Also, suggesting that someone bring their pet on board as a service dog makes it harder for those with actual service dogs.
Vilk has grown to be a handsome young lad and you have done a great job with him. That says a lot about you as his mommy. Great job.
I dont know how old is this video but here I am balling my eyes with Vilk and his trip and how happy he is to be reunited with you. Ive traveled from Miami to Barcelona with my dogs and experienced the same anxiety.
Its your love and empathy for Vilk, is that would make you an amazing Mom. I am the same way whenever I have a pet. We in America are going to miss you both. Come back soon.
i cried like half of the video cause it is just so lovely how you and vilk are connected and how you cared. I can feel you. thank you for your being and sharing 🤍
I was so relieved to see that Vilk endured the flight so well. I really felt the joy between the both of you when you were finally together again! I really believe the crate training that you gave made a huge difference in making sure his trip was a good one.
I remember flying with my Kira way back when. She had to go in the pressurized hold abd I was in the cabin above. The whole cabin heard her bark I ng, crying, and howling down there. Poor baby. She did not suffer any physical harm.
So happy to see the trip was completed safely. Also love to see the human genuinely concerned and caring for their 4 legged friend. It would be interesting to be able to read his mind and what he experienced on his trip. Best wishes as you and him adjust to your new normal.
Hi Eva, I think Vilk had jet lag, his time clock was awry, hence sleepy on arrival. I'm an oldtimer Englishman who has travelled extensively throughout the US for work years ago and since 1989 on hiking trips. I love the US, particularly the West, when young with no family to consider, I wouldn't have hesitated in moving out there, it is so vast. I suspect there must be ulterior motives for you not to want to stay ? I have followed your adventures for a long time, finding areas I have not, nor will ever see without your content, so thank you. I hope you eventually find what you are looking for. You are such a lovely soul, love and best wishes for the adventures you still have to experience.
I was thinking just the same - Vilk may have slept just fine on the flight, but he would still be sleepy during daytime for several days if he had jet lag.
I'm really impressed on how you had the forethought to prepped/crate trained Vilk since the moment you got him. This adds a new perspective to the amount of sweat, time, and tears that you went through when you initially posted about getting Vilk -- truly congrats!! I'm also glad that you're safely back in Poland and fully understand the financial decisions.. . that said.. . we're sad to know you've left the US. Excited for your news in the next post. Adieu
I understand your stress, but it is so nice of you to be so concerned for your dog. Flying for many hours is hard enough for humans, but unfortunately it is probably more stressful for animals. God bless you for taking care of your dog. The video provided lots of useful information for pet owners who have to take flights.
I don't think I've ever been so emotionally invested in a youtube story, ever. I felt every bit of anxiety and relief with you. I'm so glad it went as well as could be and Vilk was OK. Good boy Vilk, good job!!!
Ahah I feel you ❤❤❤
Heartbreaking to watch through my tears.... 😢. Godspeed to you, an incredible young woman, ❤ to your beautiful dog. 🫂.
(Hey I have something for you)🎉🎉
I cried and got emotional during your baby’s crate build and preparing him for travel 😢😢😢 I have a fur baby too . A boxer boy , 6 years old . Can’t imagine leaving him anywhere or putting him on a plane. Not easy to go through . The love is so strong for our animals/children ❤
It really is such a strong bond isn’t it ❤
You cried?
Sorry to see you leave, however like others have said there are a lot more affordable places in the US and just as spectacular if you were able to spend time there you may have found that home you are dreaming of. The mountains of Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, Western part of Virginia,Maine and Vermont just to name some. Hope you find that place to make it your home.
Yes, she didn't get to travel the U.S. fully and only looked in a couple states. I think Europe was drawing her back though with her family being there. She cannot easily come-&-go with such a big dog either.
Most of those SUCK
Plenty of cheap land in CO, WY, AK, NV, NM, to name a few
Colorado is brutally expensive I have 2 friends both renting 1bed room apt , in Denver , both want to live elsewhere in Colorado in a house , both looking for 3yrs now , nothing affordable. One is trying no wheresville Idaho to look
@@DENVEROUTDOORMAN they may suck for all of you that do live out west however, for those people on the eastern side of the country they are nice places
I'm happy to see that your dog made it! He looked like he was none the worse for the ware. I loved the way you added labels with info on the dog to the outside of his cage. That was a nice touch. Vilk is loved. I'll have to remember that idea. 11
Thank you. I am moving with my elderly, blind dog from the US to Ecuador and I'm terrified for Belle. Your video has been so reassuring...
You should be terrified your dog will die in a baggage hold. Blind and elderly and you can’t see the obvious.
Eva, glad to hear you had a good flight and that your travel mate made it with no complications. I just wanted to thank you for all your hard work, your unique insights into the United States, and just being your adorable self. The world would be a better place with more people like you. Good luck with your future endeavors.
I got tears watching this vid...I'm so glad Vilk doing ok...hufffff
That's so cute! I'm glad it went well. You and Vilk are amazing being.
(Hey I have something for you)🎉🎉
YAY Eva & Vilk for getting back home safe & sound! 🎉👍 I was so impressed in how Vilk stayed in his crate after you opened the door and waited for you to make the first move before he moved out of his crate! GOOD JOB VILK @ 13:16 🐶 (I can't wait to see your Big Surprise video next week! - Sure will miss you here in the states! Take care you two❣❣)
When I moved my family to Germany, I remember everything being blurred. The whole trip was surreal.
When we arrived at our destination it was such a relief, the bravery of my family and now I look back and grateful how we were taken in by Germany, leaving behind so many worries and finally started living. 😊
Made a grown man cry. So glad it all went well except for your bag. 🧡🐾🙏🏻✌🏻
So brave of both of you! I would be a total basket case during those 11 hours. Much love to you and Vilk! Thank you for including us in your journeys!❤
Eva, this vlog is both heartwarming and relatable. A special thanks to my life coach Lisa Haisha for recommending your content during her recent retreat in the Philippines; your storytelling skills and adventurous spirit truly resonate with her teachings, making your channel a delightful exploration of life's diverse experiences.
I have to agree! Eva is such a refreshing, positive vlogger to watch.
I’m so pleased Vilk was ok. I’m a dog mum and I would also be a wreck having to fly with my boy. You’re so brave ❤️
I really feel for you and your dog, because I have one who looks just like yours. I can’t imagine traveling anywhere with him. It looks like your dog is much better behaved! Which is a blessing!
I have watched and "liked" all your videos back about 3-4 years. I have the utmost in respect and admiration for you and your adventures. My heart aches for you having to leave the USA. I will sorely miss you here, but wish you the very best in starting a new chapter in your already spectacular life. I look forward to watching all your new adventures about to unfold.
Oh my goodness I was almost crying seeing Vilk being wheeled out. What a sense of relief! Sweet boy. Glad everything went well.
Sorry you had to leave the US. I think you had a love for our country and I will miss your videos from the states. Good luck to you and Vilk on all your future endeavors.❤😊
Sooo relieved for you and Velk to make it thru this journey safely/ what an ordeal! He's such a beloved friend. And thankful for everyone handling him to be so kind and helpful.
Yes it was stressful but so happy all went well in the end!
Our 3 dogs travelled from the UK to NZ. Around 36 hours of travel! They arrived and then had a 2 week holiday in quarantine. Loved life in NZ after. All 3 were slightly older dogs
As a dog owner, I felt so anxious for you and Vilk just watching the video. So glad he's OK and everything went fine. Welcome back to Europe!
