Lake Clark National Park - Alaska

Join us on a full one-day adventure starting with a flight from Anchorage over to Port Alsworth to explore this beautiful and scenic National Park. We fly through the park and see rugged snow-capped mountain terrain, glaciers, rivers, wildlife and more on our way over to the small village of Port Alsworth. We land on a gravel runway and visit the National Park's Visitor Center, view the outdoor and indoor exhibits and explore the small village. Wes hikes over 6 miles on the Tanalian Trail up to the Tanalian Falls, with stops at viewpoints along the way and then continues on up to the shoreline of Kontrashibuna Lake and visits Beaver Pond on the way back to town. Wes shares with viewers scenic photo captures during his hike along with many wildflowers, a couple of momma Spruce Grouse hens and their baby chicks and spectacular views of the mountains and forested scenery of this wonderful park.
