This is one of the laptops I have been considering for my schoolwork and other general tasks like netflix, youtube and light gaming. I don't have a huge budget so I was looking at the 3i variant of the laptop; would this be the device you recommend for this or is there a better alternative you would recommend? I also am in both the apple and Samsung ecosystems with my daily driver an iPhone and my secondary phone a Samsung if that helps influence what device you would recommend to me. Great review. I was disappointed about the front facing camera too. Can it be over written by using an external one? However, overall love the battery life and how light it is for travel and I work in Adobe Cloud and it auto saves and it is in sleep mode for days and I don't have to shut it down. I used Apple and never had that experience.
Honestly the only thing that hits the hard the most for me about the laptop is just the graphics card. It just kinda sucks because I would like to game a little on the computer

cost of extended warranty varies by country/region. Since I have a global audience, sharing that price could be misleading. Also, very few people actually opt for extended warranty. Most people prefer to stay with the standard warranty.

Cameras are bad in any laptop. Only MacBook m1 onwards, can you expect decent quality webcams. Regarding s8 ultra and laptop...s8 ultra cannot function as a laptop. I've done a video on it..do check it out.

@@Maryokororie okay! Thank you. I tried reducing the Maximum processor state to 60% from 100% and the fan noise has reduced for me. You may do it by going on control panel - power options - change plan settings - change advanced power settings - processor power management and maximum power state. Hope it works.

Have you noticed that it’s extremely picky on charger? You can’t just stick in any USB-C cable and hope for the best. I suspect it’s only accepting the 45W charger. What’s your experience?
yeah obviously if the charger cant provide the laptop with the amount of wattage input it requires it simply wont register the laptop as being charged but you can use any 45 watt charger and above to charge this laptop. If you have a pc you'll know that depending on what components you have, you need to have the specific power supply wattage output to run the pc like most are 750 watts but if you less like 300 watts the pc just wont run because its not getting enough power.
