Glad to see Jack stands with this installation. Another great video! I hadn’t seen this type of front Sumo Springs and they seemed to install so easily. Thanks for sharing!
We (husband & I) ordered the front Sumos and got a great discount using vancaskeys! Thank you so much! When they arrive we will use this video for the install. We already had the back ones installed with a lift. Thanks again!
I put the front and back sumosprings on my Promaster following your videos. Putting a generous amount of dish soap on the coil and the insert helped a lot. The fronts went on quicker than the rear. The ride is greatly improved (less jarring on potholes too). Thanks for the videos.
I installed sumo springs on the rear of our 2018 Winnebago Travato (Ram Pro Master 3500 Chaises) That made a big improvement. I ordered the Sumo Spacers for the front, that project was kind of a tough job. I removed the front tires and that helped. I'm happy with the results. Very good video, very helpful.
It was the first thing I did to my 2022 Tellaro when I got it in July of 2021. The ends both met around the Springs, and were secured with zip ties thru holes at the bottom of the spacer.
Great job..that was really easy looking! ROAD TRIP!!! Glad to see your wheels chocked! 🤣 Harbor Freight has the heavy duty Solid Rubber Wheel Chock on sale. Very small easy to store somewhere in your van! 90 cents off is a great deal! Have a great weekend!
Installed Sumo Springs on a 2017-Ford T-350HD Dually Transit Plumbing Van, I noticed an improvement, van isn’t so jarring over road imperfections, super helper spings are next on the leaf springs, occasionally tow heavy equipment and need more rear support
I installed the front spacers first... definitely it's a night and day experience the 'sway' was muted... Thor should have installed these stuffs already 😏 - - (as usual nice to see your videos 😊)
What ton floor jack is that? I just let RAM put on the back ones this morning because I was concerned about lifting that much weight with a 6 ton bottle jack I bought. Thought it might sink into the asphalt. Didn’t seem like you had a problem with the jack you used.
Correct me if I’m off on this but isn’t suspension travel important? Seems to me that takes away most of the spring travel and replaced by a urethane block. I watched the van go down the curb and the rear seemed to not compress at all to absorb the bump. Wouldn’t a stiffer shock work better by not compressing as easily but allowing full suspension travel? I would also think things would rattle more due to effectively having less suspension travel.
Did the addition of the Sumo springs on the rear & spacers on the front add any more clearance to the van? That generator is soo low to the ground! And, you use spacers in the front, not another set of sumo springs?
I wonder if that doesn’t end up putting too much stress on the part of the spring that doesn’t have sumospring. Cause this basically stiffens only part of the spring.
Where would you actually stop the sumo springs once you slide them in? Are there any specifics to that? Your wife also asked, " How high do you need to go? "
@Vancaskeys Awesome good to know getting my van upgraded while these sales are rolling in lol 😆 next tires but have to research what size my Ram needs. Thanks a bunch had to refer back to this video for the coil springs.
Oklahoma! That why we didn’t get a video out last week. We will have a video Sunday 😃 we did see the airstream! I’m super excited to see it because it’s on the upgraded promaster chassi-my only concern is the size of the bed for us. But airstream puts out such great quality so I’m sure it’s great. -bob
@@Vancaskeys Safe travels. That’s right you both are 6 footers. I’d wait a year..since this is their first..but their quality is a plus…and the rig is only 131K
Installed the Sumosprings last weekend on my Jayco Comet and it made a huge difference. Thank you for the video and the discount code!

Thanks Bob! We learned the first time we needed a jack stand!
nice upgrade - and easy to do too!

Thanks Diane! ❤️
Thanks for video guys...
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video, just what I was looking for 👍

Hmmm…ours didn’t come with zip ties. We thought they should. Thanks for letting us know this.
@@Vancaskeys Are their several small holes around the bottom edge?

We definitely should get some! We will have to check out the sale at harbor freight. Thanks!
Those harbor freight chocks are super smelly. We have some for other uses and have to leave them outside.

I knew you’d like the Sumo’s. A Icn better ride for sure. I hope you’ve driven in cross winds previously so you’ll see the difference with the Sumo’s.
Yes! They make such a huge difference!

Bob, are you happy with your Thor class B, let me know I plan to get an 18M soon
Yes! I’m happy with it. Once everything gets fixed I’ll be even happier. It’s a great van. Good luck on your new van!
I didn’t hear much confidence from Hillary
when she asked if the spacer was installed correctly, she was like “Ok”
😂😂😂
what was the model number for the sumosprings? Which ones did they send you? Going to order some now! Bought the back ones and installed them =)
Where would you actually stop the sumo springs once you slide them in? Are there any specifics to that? Your wife also asked, " How high do you need to go? "
You only have to go to the middle of the spring. That seemed to work for us.
Do you still recommend the coil sumo springs?
Absolutely. We have the front and rear sumo springs. And we just added the helper springs aka super springs.

@ awesome! We just put new tires in. Went with K02s and are super happy with them.
how much did the front raise up after the install

To bad these aren’t standard on the Thors. Standard on Winnebago travato.
Agree! They should be! Winnebago for the win!
Overfilling saturates your vehicle's vapor recovery system which can lead to permanent damage and avoidable repairs

Still working?
Yes. Have had no issues with it.
Don't complain. 22 gallon would cost you $165 in continental Europe.
Oh wow!
Did it give it any noticable lift?
