- How to install a set of SumoSprings rear suspension stabilizers for your 2014-2022 RAM Promaster or Fiat Ducato. Also, what to do when things don't go as planned and one of the bolts breaks off in the frame. You can buy the rear spring kit here (Amazon Paid Links) amzn.to/3xwdWIF
and the Oil Filter Wrench here amzn.to/3LmdbaE
Thank you for the excellent video. You may want to annotate the video to indicate that you did not use the jacking point specified by Ram and to indicate the location of the correct jacking point.
Im jacking the body up off of the axle to make clearance to install the Sumospring. Using the factory jacking point would not accomplish the same thing as easily.
Love mine. Recommend an oil filter wrench to remove the old. Makes it super easy.
Nice! Did you feel a difference versus stock? As in ride comfort and stability months later?
The same thing happened to me with the tack welds giving wagon the bolt. Normally, this would have been an “oh sh*#” moment, but I watched your video beforehand and was able to wire wrap the nut, take the tire off and got it on quickly. Thanks for the video
Glad to hear.
So my weld just broke. I don’t have a tack welder. Any other ideas to get the nut to hold?
My Sumo springs will be delivered in a couple days. I understand the spring is 5” and the spacer is 1”. I have a 6 1/2” gap on my Promaster 3500 (Thor Sequence RV) between where it’s screwed on and the bottom so…I might be able to put them on without jacking it up??? Since it’s a 2021 with only 5,000 surely I won’t have to deal with the nightmare you did…OMG.
It could still happen to you. I have no rust on the van. The fastener had a little bit. Let's hope that you don't have any problems though.
hello when are going to have the Ford TRANSIT SUMO SPRINGS AND SHOCKS
I will release it next week. This week (tomorrow) is the final reveal video.
They call that type of welding "projection welding" it is a form of resistance welding. Probably didn't care to know that lol.
Hi - what is the jack that you used? Seems very handy for tight areas. Do you have a link?

@@JackofAllMasterofNone umm ... that doesnt seem to be the one you used. Its at the 4.25 mark ... with a orange knob in front. The base is flat unlike the hydraulic jack bottle.
Hey love the video, I was wondering if you'd let us use some of the footage for social? We'd tag you and give you credit whenever we use it. - Josh
Sure. Just please don't copy and repost my entire video as your own. Thanks. They work good so far!
You don’t show me jacking point
