Jake revisits a bathroom remodel he did back in 2014. He shows a really cool zero entry shower and some details that are great for remodelers, especially if the project calls for not altering the footprint of the bathroom.

I like your solution to the problem. Curbless showers are very nice. I would recommend relocating the valve to one of the half walls near the door if it’s possible on future builds. It allows someone to turn on the shower to warm up without getting blasted by water. 👍🏻

Very clever idea on putting the drain at the door when you cannot lower the whole pan. I never would have thought of that!

Curb-less increases risk of damage if/when the drain backs up. This isn't a deal breaker, but it is worth noting.

The half wall with the sharp granite corners with slick tile floors and other sharp waist-high corners is a head and hip trauma waiting to happen. This bathroom design is a slip and fall hazard. The medicine mirror door opens onto a metal towel holder...

??? I didn't see anything sharp. And all showers have tile floors
