    I really appreciate what Costa is doing! I'm actually glad they're pushing back the release date of the Thai. I can't stand resellers either, so it's worth the wait if we're going to reduce all the ridiculous markups. 😊

      No what they're doing is not good. They only care about profits. They're crushing local and small businesses. The same as every other corporation. It's such a shame really.

    This made me appreciate Costa Farms even more. You can’t blame them for holding back the release of the Thai constellations it’s a smart business decision. But I can’t wait for them to be released.

    Thank you so much for this tour! I really like what Costa Farms started, some may not but I appreciate not having to pay 100 dollars for one leaf of something. This was so informative and I love learning the tidbits! I can't wait for the next part! I am waiting patiently for the drop of their Thai Constellation, yes, I am because people are taking full advantage right now and I truly believe you shouldn't have to be rich to enjoy plants. Thank you!!! I love watching you! (I even got my sister to watch this ine!)☺☺

      @@janeth3008 I don't want them here. I have my small plant business here in the UK and I don't want them to destroy it, which they will. We need more small businesses not giant corporations.

    • @DannyTillotson
      @DannyTillotson 2 года назад

      It's not that people are taking full advantage of selling Thai's. It's that they cost so much to buy, and propagate, to sell at a small profit. Not forgetting import charges, phytosanitary certificates and then the time and money invested into growing them, some die, and those that survive are carefully propagated, then when ready sold online, packaged, posted and paid taxes to the government after all that. It's the same for any plant in demand, if customers would like the plant, small plant shops can do so for them and that's the price it takes for us to devote our lives for.

    Omg! I am getting chills hearing about Thai Constellation being massed produced *giggles*. I totally agree how egregious the practice of buying something from big box stores and reselling them in other places (online or other makeshift stores). I am rooting for Costa Farms. You can do it!!!!

    This is so awesome! I could listen to that guy all day! I enjoyed his take on the Network calathea. It doesn't do anything for me. But I have a good friend who owns a nursery and he obviously has seen a lot of plants in his lifetime, and he loves Network calathea. He goes on and on about how cool it is. That one really is a "to each their own" type of plant.

      Phoenix/Scottsdale Lowe’s and Home Depot do not sell Costa Farms plants. Home Depot gets their indoor plants from a local nursery, Plant Stand of Arizona. Supplier of Lowe’s outdoor plants has bought out a grower of indoor plants so same supplier for both indoor and outdoor plants. Kroeger grocery stores carry Costa Farms in limited supply and choices. Walmart sells Costa Farms for a couple of months but the condition of the plants is pitiful.

    This was amazing!! I do think he should have his own show. Also I’m sure they did but I’m hoping that mothers neighbor was paid handsomely for that sample she gave 😀

    This is such an interesting video and so educational. I love your content I have always wondered what their farms look like and how they run.

    Well done, Ashley!! One of your best videos! I learned so much from this and I came away with an even a better impression of Costa Farms. I’ve always been a fan of their plants. I love this type of informative learning video. Many thanks for this and for all that you do for the plant community!! 👏🌿🥰💚

    I have almost all those plants he showed. My Watermelon Peperomia has been a nightmare. I think I can’t get the watering right. It flopped the day after I bought it. It was already wet. I repotted it in terracotta. I waited at least a couple weeks to repot it. And it never picked back up. I have lost leaves. Man, looks horrible. Thank you for the tour Costa Farms and Ashley! 😍
