Directed and written by Edward Neumeier and staring Casper Van Dien as Johnny Rico, Jolene Blalock as Captain Lola Beck, Stephen Hogan as Sky Marshal Omar Anoke, Amanda Donohoe as Admiral Enolo Phid, Marnette Patterson as Holly Little and Boris Kodjoe as Gen. Dix Hauser.

nice hanging scene
Nice too how they bounce a bit at rope's end. Ropes hadn't been pre-stretched; she the 1905 hanging of Mary Rogers in Vermont for mention of what can happen with a non-pre-stretched rope. Mary bounced and took 15 minutes to be pronounced dead--but she richly deserved it for HOW she murdered her husband.

I really like the first Starship Troopers as it is a satire on fascism, but the sequels leave a really nasty taste in my mouth, especially this one, where the Federation embraces religion like never before. Ugh.
It's still better than the second film.

Technically fascist nations could have religious tenants, just not at the speed of Starship trooper. Besides that, the first movie just gave hints they were fascist. This one here is just SCREAMING FASCISM

Awful film of an awful book
Why?
Book was extraordinary. The only people who call the film bad are the ones who don’t understand it’s always been satire, and the fact that it was so far off from being accurate to the book lol
@@Allegiancy The book was very nice. It reminded me of Brave New World and 1984 in terms of how they depict a single extreme ideology.
