3D Printing Tip: Finishing Bronzefill and Woodfill

  • Follow along as I turn a raw Colorfabb bronzefill print into a polished finished print. Also find out if woodfill can easily be stained to give a more finished look. The completed project is a plaque to be included my SMRT-1 EPCOT project.

      Here is a link to a 3D print I just did. It is a replica of the door numbers at the Polynesian Village in Disney World. I printed it with wood filament and then stained it but the stain was too light so just ended up spray painting it in Kona Brown anyway HaHa (then hand painted the details). I made it about 2 cm deep so I could put a button in the center and use it as the switch to operate my garage door. I am currently painting another one that says "Aloha" to use as my doorbell switch. makerdan.weebly.com/photos.html
