Well made retro thriller: great script (with minor deficiencies in the third act), a solid cast and a superb technical package (cinematography, editing, score). This makes a great back to the 80ies double feature with Cold in July, also released in 2014. As always a great review, thanks!

Hahaha that is so true about the cover that could easily be romance cover but yeah this is a great movie! I really want this but I am not region free and still doing the Blu ray thing.

4K is natively region free, so if you're 4K capable, then you shouldn't have issues with this release.

Since the Blu-ray is Region B locked, are the same special features included on the 4K?

If the Blu-ray with the special features was region A I would consider this and it's way too pricey I would pay 30 maybe 35 tops! I love this movie. But $50 for one movie!

Second Sight might release a standard edition of this that will be within that price range, I'm sure. But, you'd need a region free player. I highly recommend going region free if you can.

@@pizowell I would consider a standard edition for $30 even just for the 4K disc and better packaging. I just hate region locked discs. I'd like to play my movie if I go to a friend's house. Or on any player in my house. plus I hate to shell out money for another player that I don't really need. but I understand a lot of collectors make that job because it makes things easier. Maybe one day if I have an extra $200 laying around. it's just stupid that most 4ks are reagion free but they still put region locked Blu-ray discs with them.

Incredible film, and frankly Wingard's only film I've enjoyed. So much fun, and Dan Stevens is just pouring with charisma. I'm grinning ear to ear like a school girl every time he's on screen.
